Having Urdu as a mother tongue is a blessing when you are learning arabic and persian 😂👍 i already can write persian and arabic without learning these languages .... I just have to learn accent and meaning ...and here urdu becomes more handy ... It has more letters and urdu speaking person can easily copy both of these accents👍😂 I'm in love with my own language
I am a hindi speaker but it's very hard for me to write farsi and Arabic and also its difficult for a hindi speaker to gain farsi or arabic accent and it is taking alot of time to learn the grammar of persian and Arabic

Don't worry about pronunciations. I'm persian and if you say S sounds same, we can understand all of them. The meaning not changing alot. And pronunciations aren't important like Arabic language.T, S, H,Gh,... Lucky 💗

No please don't learn Hindi, it is very hard especially the script, which is very different and unique from Arabic or even Latin script. We Indians understand English too! But thanks for your interest.

I’ve learned urdu with previous knowledge and experience of speaking Hindi and was shocked how similar salon of the words are. I was also surprised to find out that lots of Bollywood Indian films have an urdu influence, and some famous Bollywood songs were originally sung in urdu and they literally just sound li,e hindi I wouldn’t have known they were urdu if I didn’t google it.
In Persian, every pronoun has a distinctive badge ح . ص . ض . ظ. ط. ث. ذ These are Arabic letters and are pronounced differently in Arabic And most of the words that were made with these words are Arabic In Persian, all of these letters are pronounced in one form ح = ه ذ ض ظ = ز ع = ا ث ص = س

I am quite amazed at how certain languages have the same script but are different from each other. This beautiful language looks so much like Urdu. I can however distinguish it from Arabic as Arabic looks a little more complicated than both Urdu or Persian. Good stuff. I picked up some Dari while deployed in OEF. Later met my now Persian wife back in the US. Her family said I spoke Farsi with a heavy Afghan accent. And little did i know how offensive the word 'Kooni' was when I showed off my Farsi to my future in-laws..lmao!

Interesting that Farsi is an Indo-European language but written in a Semitic alphabet. I wonder what the Old Persian alphabet was before the Arab conquest. Anyway it is interesting how the Iranians modified the Arabic letters to represent sounds that don't exist in Arabic, like p and ch. This has been very instructive, thank you.
I can speak fluently in Farsi, however I’m not very good at reading or writing. I do have some background on it since I have been to Farsi classes for almost 5 years, but I still struggle to read and write. My parents are going to get me a private tutor to teach me instead of going to Farsi classes once covid is done, but for now I’m going to try teaching myself.
In Persian language all alphabet letter groups such as (ث ص س) or (ض ذ ز) or (ط ت) (غ ق) or (ح ه) sounds the same pornounciation. They don't have the sounds similar to Arabic alphabet. In addition, there isn't the letters of (گ چ پ ژ) in Arabic.

Persian script is basically Arabic script which cames at the time of the Arab Muslim expansion in Persia it is only a modified arabic script because they are some letters in Persian which doesn‘t exist in Arabic

I already understand and can speak 50% persion because ,it so related my mother tongue balochi which is also spoken in Pakistan, iran and little bit in Afghanistan being a Pakistani for me peesoin is so easy to learn & my 4rh language after urdu , balouchi & English
i'm Algerian... so my native language is Arabic the letters are almost the same like Arabic i think i'll learn persian language in a short time cool and thanks for the lesson
