Then Dirk (He really wasn’t that great in the finals, and he needed LeBron to choke horribly to win), then Kawhi last year (He has so much help in the finals and bcz of the Warriors injuries), Kobe in 2010 (Inefficient), then KD in 2018, Chauncey Billups 2004, Tim Duncan 2005 (Inefficient), Paul Pierce (The Big 3 were pretty equally deserving of the FMVP), Kawhi Leonard 2014, Tony Parker 2007, and last and definitely least, but still very valuable, Iggy in 2015.

Not the second season he didn't. And Nash had a stacked ass team, especially in 2005. If you put any other top 5 point guard in the NBA on the Suns in 2005, they'd still be a contender, maybe not 60 wins, but still a 55 or so win team. The only players in the NBA who could carry that sorry ass Lakers team to the playoffs in 2006 is LeBron, Kobe, and Wade.
Elijah Ruderman the Suns literally won 29 games the year before with the same core... Nash was the best passer by those years and he literally was the system, you can not just come and say "replace him with another top PG and the Suns are going to win as much".
Y’all hating on Nash bruh, his impact on the suns was bigger than you think. Kobe averaged 35 but his fg was low and the lakers record wasn’t good enough
no it's either kobe or dirk. Lebron only won 50 games on the weakest eastern conference in history. Kobe had to deal with the suns, scored 62 against the mavs in 3 quarters, the spurs, etc. The west was stacked. Kobe has a higher TS% than lebron in 06. The mvp should be: 1. I think he deserved both his MVPS, but you can't rank him high, maybe ahead of Curry's 15' and Westbrook 17' MVP seasons, but that's it... And even though you had Westbrook averaging a triple double and Curry winning the chip (he took playoffs success in consideration because he ranked Dirk that way because his 1st round exit).

Braulio Pérez so you think someone that averaged 15 and 11 in 2005 and 18 and 10 in 2006 are “MVPs numbers”. Let’s start with 2006. Kobe averaged 35, 5 and 4 a game to carry a lakers that had no business making the playoffs to 45 wins. That’s freaking impressive to me. I know they blew a 3-1 lead and as much I support Kobe blowing a 3-1 lead is not no excuse so I get that. But if you take Kobe off that team in 2006, the lakers are winning no more than 20 games and if they didn’t blow that 3-1 lead, he would’ve been MVP. If you take Nash off the suns they still making the playoffs they had great players like Amare who only played 3 games though but in 05 he put up way better numbers but no one was talking about him being MVP. Now 2005 Shaq’s first season with the heat. They went from winning 42 games in 2004 and a second round exit, then Shaq comes to the team and they win 59 games, the first seed and went all the way to game 7 in ECF against the Pistons. Shaq averaged 23 points, 10 rebounds and shot 60 percent from the field. Was way more dominant than Steve Nash but yet they give it to a guy that averaged just 15 and 11. Those are not MVPs numbers my guy. You got to be at least average 22 in order to be MVP. Nash did not deserves his MVPs in 05 and in 06 point blank period
literally wasn’t robbed lmao, 06 lebron and dirk would of deserved it over kobe if nash didn’t win. will never get why people believe that narrative, clearly weren’t around back then
Elijah Ruderman I don’t think so. Outside of steals and assists. Kobe pretty much clears the board stats wise. His team was also ranked first in the west that year.
You disrespect Nash too much, he deserved that 2005 mvp before he joined that sun's team they had 29 wins, but the 2006 should've been dirk not Kobe. Westbrook mvp season should be the last as they only won 47 games kawhi should've been the mvp that year. Remember pickup games or NBA games the most important thing is to win stats is only secondary and since we're talking about season mvp , you should only talk about season not playoffs. Sometimes Wilson talk like he didn't know shit about NBA basketball I don't get it
I understand that part but the only reason why the suns were bad and won 29 games was because they got their best players injured while when their healthy and got Nash they win 50 wins but still Nash made this suns team offense better but he still had a good roster when healthy
And got bounced out the first round. First of all Harden should’ve won it in 2017. I’m not even a Harden fan but he had better numbers. No one cares about a triple double if it’s not leading to wins
MomJessicaandJordan Richardson how are you going to say he shouldn’t have won mvp Bc it didn’t lead to wins, but then say harden should’ve won it😂😂and then bring up numbers but act like a 30 point triple double isn’t better then 29 11 and 8🤦🏽♂️the only thing harden did better in stats is assist smh
Kobe should've won more mvps. He was the best player in the league from the season shaq left the lakers in 04 to about 09-10, when lebron won his first mvp
Man I know Kobe was a lower seed in 06' but damn he was a God that year. His 60 points in 3 quarters vs the Mavs that year was just as impressive as the 81 point game the same year.
Wilson can you do the top 20 (Because there's too many to choose from) individual 6 or 7 game series since 2000 ranked? Imo, you have to put at least 2 Shaq finals, Kobe 2010 WCF, Wade '06 Finals, Kawhi vs Sixers 2019, LeBron 2012 vs Boston, LeBron 2016 finals, LeBron 2018 vs Indiana and Boston, Kobe 2009 WCF, Dirk vs Spurs 2006, KD vs Spurs 2012, KD vs Clippers 2014, Tim Duncan vs Lakers and Nets in 2003, A.I vs Raptors 2002, Steve Nash vs Dallas, etc.
Top 5 no particular order prediction 2000 Shaq , 2002 Duncan, 2009 Lebron, 2013 Lebron, 2016 Steph Edit: I forgot about KD’s MVP year buts it’s not better than 09 Lebron and I think number 2 and 1 on ur list should just be a tie
🤨🤔maybe but He could have won it easy in ‘03&’06 seeing he averaged 30ppg/7rebs/6ast on 45% in 03 n in 06 he averaged 35ppg/5rebs/4.5ast on 45%....soooo 😒
Only theoretically. MVP is a narrative driven award. Kobe never had the narrative. Kobe's only "legitimate" chances of winning MVP was between 2005-2008
Yo Wilson said LeBron was "significantly better defensively" in 2009 rather than 2010. LeBron did not get "Significantly worse" defensively in 2010. LeBron was averaging 3.5 blocks and steals combined in the first 8 games in the 2010 playoffs.
Nananannan he did not just put curry over Lbj yea it was pure magic from curry but Lebron was all domination noone comes close but Jordan in that type of domination
I thought either LeBron's 13' or Shaq's were going to be number 1 to be honest, but the list is pretty accurate for me, because if I was going to make a change, it would be by 1 place difference, great job. I said that because you kinda took playoff success in consideration when ranking Dirk's MVP season, and since Steph's team blew a 3-1 lead with a superior roster I thought that would cost him some points... But once again, great list!
Playoff success doesnt matter for mvp. Idk why this dude ranked dirks season low. But curry was the league leader in points and steals and led the warriors to the best record in league history while also being in the 50-40-90 club
You're putting too much weight on stats tbh. Everyone knows when Steph won MVP he deserved it. You must've not watched him that year wtf. He literally changed basketball that year
Steph's Unanimous MVP may be the best regular season performance ever but Lebrons 2013 MVP is better overall in terms of regular and offseason and he shouldve won DPOTY. its a complete package.
Resultados da pesquisa Resultado da tradução Português Inglês number 1 is indisputable, good list, I would only put Iverson and Westbrook higher, but it is an excellent list
Bron fans literally think he has never played on a superteam. LMDAO. Bosh and Love were top 5 power forwards and Wade and Kyrie were top 5 guards in the NBA. Wade won a Finals MVP and Kyrie won an all star MVP. You just cant take Bron fans seriously.
If Russ was stealing rebounds from his teammates, especially Adams, then why isn't Adams averaging 10+rpg this season without Russ??? Adams is simply not a good defensive rebounder, he's one of the best box-out bigs though. Also with Russ OKC were a top 5 rebounding team every year whereas this season without him they're 26th!! So stop it. Russ is averaging 8rpg this season, you people act as if he's stealing every rebound.
Russell Westbrook hate to me is ridiculous sometimes. He really can’t win. He doesn’t score and he’s soft but when he scores then he’s a ballhog🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
Man MVP IS Not the scoring champ or assist champ IS the MVP another dif animal, so you cant rank thinking about just the number and assist so many other facts
I might put steph over shaqs season and maybe over lebrons. Nobodys leading a team to 73 wins on 50-40-90 splits, while being the scoring and steals leader
Take Russ off that OKC team and they'd have won the lottery in the 2018 draft. That's what the word "VALUABLE" means and I'm sorry if you're dumb enough not to get it.
@@jaelengeorge1339 Russ led the league in scoring with 32ppg, PER, Box plus/minus, Win shares, 4th qtr./clutch scoring (he hit numerous game winners and clutch shots that season) and many other categories. Of course averaging a freaking triple double boosted his MVP case but don't act as if that was the sole reason he won MVP.
I don't think Russ or Harden should've won MVP those 2 seasons. I think both Lebron and AD deserved it more than Harden and Kawhi deserved it more than Russ.
Most Valuable Player means the player that is the best in the team and in the league. It is an individual award and should be given to the one who deserves it, whether the team is first or eighth seed. If you remove the player from the team, what would be the impact. So simple. No narrative needed. Kobe deserves more than 1 and stop with cp3 deserves it more than kobe in 08. Kobe was best until 2012.

Imo, you have to put at least 2 Shaq finals, Kobe 2010 WCF, Wade '06 Finals, Kawhi vs Sixers 2019, LeBron 2012 vs Boston, LeBron 2016 finals, LeBron 2018 vs Indiana and Boston, Kobe 2009 WCF, Dirk vs Spurs 2006, KD vs Spurs 2012, KD vs Clippers 2014, Tim Duncan vs Lakers and Nets in 2003, A.I vs Raptors 2002, Steve Nash vs Dallas, etc.
You forgot the 2016 finals
Should've mentioned lbj's 2012 ECF Game 6 performance. It was legendary
It's still a travesty that Kobe doesn't have AT LEAST two.
An absolute travesty*
He didn’t deserve the award any other year he deserved the one he got none other
I like your vids, I agree with your rankings
Can you do a video on MVP seasons in the 21st century with adjusted stats to the 60s pace? I think that would be a great idea
8:37 Did Scottie Pippen ever do that with Jordan😂
Can you rank the top 50 players in the league since 2000.
Steph was actually above average defensively in his 2 MVP seasons. Westbrook had the highest usage rate ever
Top 5 no particular order prediction 2000 Shaq , 2002 Duncan, 2009 Lebron, 2013 Lebron, 2016 Steph
Edit: I forgot about KD’s MVP year buts it’s not better than 09 Lebron and I think number 2 and 1 on ur list should just be a tie
Kobe only deserved 1 mvp fight me
I will gladly.
Reason?
He didn't deserve his 1. Should of went to cp3 or KG
🤨🤔maybe but He could have won it easy in ‘03&’06 seeing he averaged 30ppg/7rebs/6ast on 45% in 03 n in 06 he averaged 35ppg/5rebs/4.5ast on 45%....soooo 😒
TW1984 KG had pierce and CP3 was really close
Nash fans are the most casual nba fans that do no research and get defensive when anything bad gets said about him.
To truly understand Currys 2015 you have to do the per 36. They were blowing out teams and Currys minutes were low.
The hate towards Russ is insane. Man carried a terrible team to the 6th seed
Dirk should’ve been mvp in 2005 and 2006 since he carried his team to close to 60 ir 60 without a top 20 player, give this man props
Kobe would’ve won it in 06. He carried a team that should have not even made the playoffs let alone to 45 wins
@@_1luljayyy nope
Wow. Really hating on Nash. You gotta look at his impact on the game bruh. He made Amare an all star because of his playstyle
Kobe should have won more
Amen 🙏
Nah he only deserved 1
Only theoretically. MVP is a narrative driven award. Kobe never had the narrative. Kobe's only "legitimate" chances of winning MVP was between 2005-2008
He barely deserved the one he had
@@vinnie4538 2006 or 2007 should've been it, but if he didn't blow a 3-1 lead against the suns in 06 he should've deserved it.
Please rank all NBA Finals since the year 2000 🙏
Cant believe AI's monster season with that lineup, only ranked #14..........that was "me against the world" season.
Talks about Steph’s 2014-2015 MVP run and doesn’t mention his 44% 3 point shooting 😐
Make a video ranking every nba mvp Runner-Up
Finally someone spoke truth about Nash’s MVPs.
I think 1 of 6 players to put on the 50/40/90 season, how is Dirk so low?
15:49 best part of the video
You're welcome
A thesaurus
C'mon man you can't put this kid Curry over LeBron 12/13
I don’t think you can take away from currys first mvp award. Steph was no doubt the leader of that team and a deserving recipient
Why that 🏆 look like Damian Stoudamire😂
D Rose should be ranked higher
Hey guys!!
Day one of asking: rank all nba players by how big there dumps are
Cp3 was robbed in 2008. Everyone thought cp3 is the mvp
Billups > CP3 fight me.
2008? Stfu you dont know what youre talking about
Yo Wilson said LeBron was "significantly better defensively" in 2009 rather than 2010. LeBron did not get "Significantly worse" defensively in 2010. LeBron was averaging 3.5 blocks and steals combined in the first 8 games in the 2010 playoffs.
Can you rank every mvp winner since 2019
1-Giannis
2-Giannis
@@MistaWordz Don't be delusional...
Did you just put giannis over giannis????I think they should switch position....
@@MistaWordz Lol what is that list. Giannis is trash compared to Giannis.
look at curry
Nananannan he did not just put curry over Lbj yea it was pure magic from curry but Lebron was all domination noone comes close but Jordan in that type of domination
Curry went crAzy 2016
russ on 17 is a crime
Pls make a video for players who has a great season but not enough to win an MVP on that season. Best rookie season but not won a ROY.
The only MVP title Westbrick deserves is the MVP of Bricks and Mortar...
Who is ragged dog you yelled so I could not hear
Lolol best help defender. Lololol
Im taking both of duncans mvps over kg in 2004
Idk. They seem almost even
I thought either LeBron's 13' or Shaq's were going to be number 1 to be honest, but the list is pretty accurate for me, because if I was going to make a change, it would be by 1 place difference, great job.
I said that because you kinda took playoff success in consideration when ranking Dirk's MVP season, and since Steph's team blew a 3-1 lead with a superior roster I thought that would cost him some points... But once again, great list!
He’s not talking playoffs into account
Koh Smoger then why he ranked Dirk's MVP season so low? 67 wins and 50-40-90 club as a big man.
Playoff success doesnt matter for mvp. Idk why this dude ranked dirks season low. But curry was the league leader in points and steals and led the warriors to the best record in league history while also being in the 50-40-90 club
@@KhangNguyen-bl3xc 50-45-90 club. 2016 curry was a monster.
Got help from Ray Allen
I’m predicting. 3: Shaq, 2: 2013 Lebron, 1: 2016 curry. Unless he’s taking playoff success into account
Don't mean a thing without the ring
Ydc Agu Regular season mvp isn’t about the postseason and anyway Steph was injured in that playoffs
Ydc Agu u understand that mvp is only considering the regular season right?
I hate you for number 1... lol
Durant's 2013 2014 season should of been #1
if you dont have curry number 1 you dont know nba basketball
To those six dislikes you must not Wilson channel he has one of the NBA channels on RUclips hands down
I would say LBJ 2013 is slightly better than 2016 Curry.
I think stephs first mvp was on par with roses mvp
Yea a bit better
You're putting too much weight on stats tbh. Everyone knows when Steph won MVP he deserved it. You must've not watched him that year wtf. He literally changed basketball that year
Steph's Unanimous MVP may be the best regular season performance ever but Lebrons 2013 MVP is better overall in terms of regular and offseason and he shouldve won DPOTY. its a complete package.
MVPs are regular season awards, and steph in the 2016 regular season was the 2nd best season in the last 30 years
Khang Nguyen thats why I said Steph's 2016 unanimous mvp the best regular season performance ever.
dope content, a better voice would go a long way though

number 1 is indisputable, good list, I would only put Iverson and Westbrook higher, but it is an excellent list
He brought the Suns into contention
Bron fans literally think he has never played on a superteam. LMDAO. Bosh and Love were top 5 power forwards and Wade and Kyrie were top 5 guards in the NBA. Wade won a Finals MVP and Kyrie won an all star MVP. You just cant take Bron fans seriously.
Can you take bron haters seriously
2000 Shaq should be number 2 here.
What the heck did Steve Nash do to you?
how tf is curry No1 over LeBron 2013 season , he does realize what LeBron did in the finals right ?
@@yossyo3226 so let me get this straight...are you a fan or a hater of Russ???
Yessir
Man MVP IS Not the scoring champ or assist champ IS the MVP another dif animal, so you cant rank thinking about just the number and assist so many other facts
1) 13’ Lebron 2) 01’ Diesel 3) 16’ Curry
I’d rank stephs 2015-2016 above shaq’s as far as regular season goes stephs team won 73 games
I might put steph over shaqs season and maybe over lebrons. Nobodys leading a team to 73 wins on 50-40-90 splits, while being the scoring and steals leader
@@KhangNguyen-bl3xc Idk bron won the chip and fmvp along with mvp that year
@@jasonmoukala8909 But its just ranking mvps which is the regular season
@@KhangNguyen-bl3xc That’s fair
Russell Westbrook shouldnt have won his MVP, he wasnt the most "valuble" player
yea but he was the first to average a triple double for an entire season after oscar robertson
I agree the only reason he won was because he had a triple double. I think Harden should have won that year
Take Russ off that OKC team and they'd have won the lottery in the 2018 draft.
Number should be Shaq we saw the most dominant player of all time that season nobody could stop him
kobe once said that Smush Parker is the worst point guard in the NBA...
Pippen was the og point forward homie. Or hell even magic
Shaq 2000s should be 1.
