Here's the 24th record. Michael Jordan played in "24" playoff series in which his team was either the better or same seed. He went 24-0. Going strictly by seeding, he was not upset even a single time in the playoffs. We never saw a Michael Jordan upset. He never lost when expected to win.

    • @midnytemassacre
      @midnytemassacre 3 года назад +1

Technically, there are many records never to be broken in any given sport.
      Baseball....
Cal Ripken's Record of not missing a single game for *16.5* straight seasons. Only 7 players in history broke 1,000 straight games. Gehrig's record held for 56 years. Regardless, no active player has exceeded more than 300 straight.
The average player only lasts 2 to 3 seasons let alone lasting 17+ to break it. The record, by default, excludes pitchers as a whole considering most pitchers don't play consecutive games.
There's also Connie Mack. He managed for 49 consecutive seasons and holds the records for both wins and losses by a lot. Wins might one day be broken, by to break that loss record you have to be consistently awful and miraculously keep getting hired.
      Soccer..
Asmir Begovic nailed the longest recorded goal at 91.9 meters and only made it due to a violent gust of wind. Can't break, only hope to tie it.
      Football...
You can't break the 99 yard plays, nor 100+ returns, unless the field is made even longer.
Head Coach Chris Ault is the only collegiate head coach to have his team have 3 different running backs eclipse 1,000 yards in a season. While there's been a few to get close to *tying* that record, no one has *ever* gone anywhere near getting 4 players at that mark as it would be nearly impossible feat in college.
On the NFL side, the closest to breaking Brett Favre's career interception mark *was* Eli Manning who was still 100+ short when he departed. Nowadays, you're not keeping a starting job.
Also... 73-0, playoff win by the Bears over the Skins. One other record... Jerry Rice.
      So, I mean.....

Are you sure about that? You gotta always ALWAYS think about how the game is played and always changing because no one single player will ever EVER score 100pts in one game!!! Wilt will always hold that record. Why? Because current rules won't allow it.

Does anybody know how many games he missed his entire career, because I'm pretty sure there weren't that many.Meaning, he's one of the most durable and consistently competitive players of all time

no one else comes close to MJ the only GOAT , dont ever compare other players to MJ especially in today's era none of them are comparable to what Jordan did in his prime . he can dominate his enemies alone, he dont need super team to win, he alone is the real superteam.

Most points scored in NBA playoff. He scored 63 points against the Celtics during his sophomore year.

I remember when my young cub i think hes 7 or 8 back then said to me that no one can beat nor LEBRON is the GOAT or some what a basketball "GOD" ..
i told him to search nor watch the highlights of a certain player in youtube..
He took his ipad then ask me.. what name.?!?
    I said just type
    " JORDAN "..
And my cub never looked back since then...😂🤣😂

Bill Russell won 8 straight. How much research did you do on that first statement? 11 altogether and he went to the finals 12 times.

Loved this video, great job. I think the best feature is his presence on court but you don't get a prize or a stat for that and also even if it was his decision to retire, he's the only player in history to retire after a 3 peat, come back and win another 3 peat and also the only player in history to retire a second time and play another 2 season with stats that are for the most part in the top 50 players of the league (but he was 38 39 40 and 3 years away from competition!), again not something you get a prize for, but I find that much more impressive than LeBron getting faster than anyone to 10k pts 20k pts 30k pts just 'cause he begun at 18 years old!
Anyway I have to say just yesterday I looked up on basketball reference the Game Score stats, but instead looking for the best MJ's GS games I did the opposite and the result was amazing to me!
Not only he has some of the best GS games ever, but without counting his last two years with the Wizards, he had only 30 games scoring less than 10 in GS, by comparison, LeBron scored less than 10 GS in 26 games in his rookie year alone!
(I compared only to LeBron as he's considered the best player of the last 15 years but I'll do the same with Kobe or other great players only to compare, but I think I know the result!)
I mean MJ is the GOAT even when you look at his worse stats, what a player!

People that say Kareem is the goat must not know that Kareem was the best player on the team that won a ring a max of 4 times. In the 5th and 6th ring he was the 3rd/4th best player. Jordan was the best player in all 6 of his rings. Kobe was the best player in 2 of the 3 rings. leChina was the best player in 3 and its close between him and ad for his 4th ring. Bird was the best player for 3 rings. Shaq was the best player for 3 rings.
