Im also learning arabic ... Its really difficult to memorize vocabulary .. i dont have any teacher im just learning it from RUclips and here n there ... I memorize some word from Quran and forget next day ... 😭😭😭

I didn’t know I am very blessed that I born In Arabic country and received my degree their whom can read Quran very fluently and fully understand the verses though a lot of words need to search for their meaning because we don’t use them frequently or were used regularly back then but still can read easily I thank God and very happy

I felt really sad when you said your friend told you, you couldn't learn languages.
That friend should have boosted you confidence and told you that people have different learning styles and maybe the learning style needs changing. And that maybe you need more time to learn something but you'll get there.
My dear sister as an English teacher I hear this from my students a lot. And like you sadly they believe it. But I ask you, hasn't Allah SWT made it possible for every one to learn a language? So we have that ability, for some it's faster and easier for others it's a bit more time-consuming.

Instead of accepting those hurtful words and subconsciously proving it, find a friend to practice with and practice as much as you can so the neuropathways are established and strengthened. But first read dua before you study that what you learn is beneficial and of benefit to others. 🌹🌹🌹

I also started studying the sacred arabic language about a year ago and now about one month later i will be graduated from this academic center in sha allah.
I feel myself so comfortable in memorizing the holy Quran and prophets Ahadith now alhamdullelah and my listening and speaking has also improved so much alhamdullelah.
I mostly recommend to every muslim and muslima to learn arabic first if he or she wants to learn islam religion profoundly.

Exactly. Only focus on your goal. When you focus on someone's else and start comparing, you'll feel less confident if you see that they are more improving than you. Take your time to achieve your goal. we all have different path for our own selves so when it's the right time you'll become expert in it in Sha Allah.

Well, it wasn't the case for me. I still have a lot to learn from dream intensive but I can never say I'm forgetting the concepts I learnt from the curriculum so far
You can always review the lessons how many times you want. Ustadh is right. STOP comparing! His intention and journey to learn the language was far more pure than the most of us learning.
Also Arabic students need to have a community who can motivate each other not to block the way .
My intentions are pure too . I learn easily forget easily . Easy come easy go

*If anyone know 200 words of any language he /she can talk that language very fluently that l know...lf some one learning any language since last 5-6 yrs he /she must be master of that language...Most important things is that "don't shy to talk in same language which ur learning and don't worry even ur wrong...just keep on going thats all*
Keep trying sister. And make Ur self surrounded by good friends who can communicate with u in Arabic.
The basic rule for earning a different language is
Understand the basics grammar of Ur own language first.
Then use the same grammar skills on the second language Ur trying to learn.
Dont be overthinking. Even Allah has not asked you to be better than hin/her/them. Still learning applicabelity in life.

We can communicate with Allah even with our lips closed let alone worrying about arabic. No doubt arabic is worthwhile but ALLAH created the languages. I speak to Allah in whatever language i speak primarily urdu. In my personal opinion it doesnt even matter

I just want to tell her one thing. Memory bhht si chezon per depend karti hai. Apka environment apki broughtup. Apki anxiousness aur stress lene ki adat per. Mai apni baki class k comparison mai bhht bhht poor hun is cheez mai k exam se pehlay muje har dafa 1 din pehlay complete book word by word revise kar k jani parti hai. Aur meri friends jis cheez ko 4 to 5 hours mai complete kar leti theen mai usko 10 10 hours deti thi. Bhht dukhi hoti thi. Phir ab realise hua hai k muje agar 3 to 4 times ziada karna b parta hai to wo hardworking ki capability muj mai mojood hai Alhamdulillah. Secondly dosron ka on the whole life structure hum se different ho to hum khud ko qasoor war ni bana saktay. Muje apnay purpose ko dekhna hai. Us ka path har banda apni personality k hisaab se teh karay ga

I have studied Arabic many times also in my country n in Egypt. Still, i forget coz i dont practise it. I studied French. Also i forget coz i dont pracrmtice it. I studied law but still i forget. I studied communications, still i forget. I forgot a lot of things.

I don't think any language should be learned but rather should be normalised in our life. For example, Im from Pakistan and knows Urdu but I am very good in English as well ( Alhumdulillah), and that's because I watched tons of shows in eng, read dozens of books in eng and have a circle of friends who are amazing in this language. So I think this really helps in understanding any language rather than learning them.

Aoa ustaad i have a request, many ppl want to learn arabic u know it but English is a language barrier and ppl can't understand all of it. Most ppl even dont understand English. please teach arabic grammar in urdu, majority of ppl in subcontinent can't understand english very well. And m sure majority of ur ppl following u are also from this part of the world. I m requesting u, please atleast do it once, a great number of ppl will benefit from it. JazakAllah khair brother.

I think the brain forgets whats not needed to be memorized, and thats ok. If a certain word starts appearing more frequently, your recollection of it will increase.
That being said, its a matter of exposure, if you are not exposed not even the slightest then you will forget more often. But again, even if you forget it still wouldn’t be wasted effort as you have developed some trace in that neural pathway, and once you see or hear the word again, you will at least recognize the word and chances are you will be better at remembering it later.
It all goes down to exposure, exposure creates a need for the words you learn, hence you will remember it. but never punish yourself for forgetting, its ok. Don’t force words into yourself, Just keeping the exposure is enough, continue exposure even if little.
And remember what the prophet said “إن أحب الأعمال إلى الله أدومها وإن قل”

I'm Curious about her goal, is it for the vanity of saying how great her Arabic is or is it to learn the wisdom of the Koran? Does she wish to be a scholar, or to learn her faith? Nouman Ali Khan was very charitable speaking to her, but even her comparing and asking the teacher about his studies was a painful self-comparison. Hopefully is kind and wise words gave her peace.

My native language is Arabic
You literally spoke my heart out. I'm also going through the same phase of life. All we can do is Sabr as Allah(SWT) advices in the Quran to seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah(SWT) is with the patient.
The more you'd worry the more you'd lose interest in studies. That happened to me as well which I regret about.
Live in the present. Have an open conversation with your family members about what you are going through. Try having a conversation with your family. I know it's difficult but atleast tell them about your situation.
May Allah(SWT) ease your difficulties.
There were some greatest ulama like imaan shafi(rh) maliki (rh) when then dont know something they wont give there opinions eventough they were the allamah of their time but we people are leaving’s the class of ualam and following social media celebrity scholars asking every maslah from them allah gives all hiday aameen.
The only solution for this issue is to make Arabic as the sole official language of Pakistan.
