Allah love the sinner, not the sin. Repentance (not repeating the sin acts) is what Allah SWT wants from us. Seems living right is a torture is wrong. Allah just want us to live happy life by following His guidance... to make us live fully and easily... Subhanallah...

Happened with me too. Now I realized that its Shaytan's temptation. After he make a believer sin he give them the feeling of guilt & doubts. The reality is. We committed sin privately. We Prayed to Allah and Asked for Repentence. Allah hides that sin of us. Or Convert those sin into good deed and Then we move on. Its a constant struggle in this world we should try to keep ourselves in the circle of excellence.
I believe it's also the impact of the sin that stays with us. I think we should also pray to Allah to remove the impact of the sin on our brain and heart

when he said “we think that true faith lies in restlessness”, i kinda wanted to cry. that is so true, everytime i feel happy i start thinking that Allāh is punishing me i really don't know why i feel this way, but i've somehow convinced myself that sufferings mean that Allāh is happy with me. i'm also someone who suffers from chronic anxiety. i'm so used to feeling anxious that on days when i don't feel anxious i start thinking that something is wrong and Allāh is punishing me. weirdly enough, i find comfort in my anxiety...
I am in the same condition. And i see that i am not alone. When somethings went well, i was bothered inside and thought what if Allah is angry with me or if I did something wrong. And later if something happened to me, I felt peace that 'no, He still loves me'. Why do we think that way? My own thoughts come from my early years of learning Islam where i constantly heard that when Allah loves somebody, He test that person even more. If the concept of taobah توبه is understood properly the it entails not only Astaghar (seeking forgiveness) but also and an intention and resolve to make amends and to not make the same mistakes and most of us find ourselves not living up to this resolution and start developing this feeling of guilt that we are not good enough or deserving of the forgiveness of ALLAAH, ALLAAH HIMSELF, dispels this myth by stating that he loves توابين (the ones who do taobah) which means that ALLAAH knows that we are susceptible to re-indulge despite having the best of intentions and that’s why HE expects and encourages us to keep trying despite failing again and again and HE loves this attitude in us that we don’t give up and become pessimists… ALLAAH also says that the human beings will only be given credit for their efforts howsoever successful or otherwise these may well be…
The problem is that Majority of the Muslims dont do SELF CONTROL...specially regarding Love n ...... U got the point. Staying away from Sins should be our Primary focus...Repentance happens after doing sins...so staying Away should be our primary focus
You're right. It should be the primary focus, but at the end of the day, you still have a baggage of sins on you because you're a human. Completely avoiding sins is impossible. That's why repentence is there for us.

Actually, the Prophet of Allah (SAW) told us not to reveal our sins to anyone, as Allah has concealed them. Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Everyone from my nation will be forgiven except those who sin in public. Among them is a man who commits an evil deed in the night that Allah has hidden for him, then in the morning he says: O people, I have committed this sin! His Lord had hidden it during the night, but in the morning he reveals what Allah has hidden.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6069, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2990 So no, it’s not. Who are you that a repentant, believing woman is obligated to expose her wretched past to you? If anything, what’s un-Islamic is referring to women with derogatory terms such as 304. If the concept of taobah توبه is understood properly the it entails not only Astaghar (seeking forgiveness) but also and an intention and resolve to make amends and to not make the same mistakes and most of us find ourselves not living up to this resolution and start developing this feeling of guilt that we are not good enough or deserving of the forgiveness of ALLAAH, ALLAAH HIMSELF, dispels this myth by stating that he loves توابين (the ones who do taobah) which means that ALLAAH knows that we are susceptible to re-indulge despite having the best of intentions and that’s why HE expects and encourages us to keep trying despite failing again and again and HE loves this attitude in us that we don’t give up and become pessimists… ALLAAH also says that the human beings will only be given credit for their efforts howsoever successful or otherwise these may well be…
One should only feel guilty if they have abandoned hope and stopped making effort, otherwise we have all the reason to be hopeful and optimistic…
Try to improve your self control...slowly u can able to distance yourself from sins...in most of the cases

Staying away from Sins should be our Primary focus...Repentance happens after doing sins...so staying Away should be our primary focus
You're right. It should be the primary focus, but at the end of the day, you still have a baggage of sins on you because you're a human. Completely avoiding sins is impossible. That's why repentence is there for us.

Allah's forgiveness is one thing, but falsely presenting yourself to future husbands as NOT the ex-304 that you were is not only unislamic, but against basic universal values of honesty.
Actually, the Prophet of Allah (SAW) told us not to reveal our sins to anyone, as Allah has concealed them.
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Everyone from my nation will be forgiven except those who sin in public. Among them is a man who commits an evil deed in the night that Allah has hidden for him, then in the morning he says: O people, I have committed this sin! His Lord had hidden it during the night, but in the morning he reveals what Allah has hidden.”

Especially in this day and age, when indecency is rampant and women are not taught about are value and worth until it is too late, the woman who has fully maintained purity until marriage is unfortunately rare. That woman is the ideal. But as for the rest, who cannot undo their past, what else can they do but repent and change their lives?
