Beautiful tree, beautiful vid, Master faller.
I hope my little 4ft x 90ft elm wedges over a little easier this weekend, got a little more forward weight and lean in my favor, 20 mph tail wind will prolly do all the work.

Excellent job! That old oak was there since before the founding of our country. Beautiful grain and color to it, I hope you get some good green out of it too!

New bar , new skip ? That saw could tell some stories I would guess . You do a great job not pulling fiber on the stump . Thanks for another great video .

pretty heavily weighted towards the lay. only 2 limbs off the top face the camera. probably could've used a bit more but went as planned.

I'm pretty sure that he used a bore cut, it's what you use when you aren't sure how solid the center of the tree is, i think, i'm not claiming to be an expert. Just adding my 2 cents.

He's a logger!!!!! Cutting the heart out is what you do! You want to avoid as much fiber wood as possible. The buyers will nock the price if you dont. Watch and learn this man can teach you alot.

I also think it is funny when people do not know why you make the shallow face cut. ( Waste not want not )
You are logging to make $ right? ( Yep... thought so ) :)
