@Majdou Line Hi there! It's so nice to meet you! Yes, I have several free resources for you - you can visit shannanemrow.com/the-autoimmune-protocol/ for help on getting started. I also have a online AIP group coaching program and my next session starts on June 1st (you get immediate access to the course content if you register early though). You can visit shannanemrow.com/courses for more info and use code EARLYBIRD10 for a 10% discount, and I also offer a payment plan. But you don't need to take my course - it's incredibly helpful but many people start AIP all on their own! ;) And I have lots of free articles and videos too.

Thank you for sharing. Yes, that was so helpful.
But i wonder about the protein portion, wouldn't be too much if we are taking the size of the palm on three meals and on addition taking the protein powder on the smoothie and additionally tha protein sticks as a snack?
Really i don't know how to manage with protein.
Would be thankful to answer me.

I have autoimmune disease that made 80 percent of my hair fall out. I wore hats. I followed your tips carefully, bought book you recommended, bought makeup you recommended, used essential oils you talked about, slept like you said, etc. My hair mostly grew back in, I was able to stop wearing hats, and I continue following your guidance.

You are the first person ever who I have heard say you may react to bone broth, I got told to take it years ago ( GPS diet) and i reacted to it. But people are like "its healthy" ! How can you be reacting to this 'healthy' gut healing stuff ? I have hashi's and am so sick I have to try AIP. Great video. TY.

I react to Glutamine. Makes me anxious. I tried introducing it 3 times and all same reaction. Yet, everyone raves how great for your gut it is.

Do you have any followers that are Mexican & have an AIP lifestyle? If so, what do they eat? I just feel like I don't know where to start but we are willing to try.😉

    • @ShannaNemrow

Hi Izzy! I do! I've even had a few take my AIP group coaching program. I love that you are willing to try even though you aren't sure where to start...the willingness is key! Awesome job! As far as AIP Mexican food...I'm originally from SoCal and our family loooooooves Mexican food - such amazing restaurants in SoCal and the best homemade tamales! One of my friends was born and raised in Mexico and lived there most of her life - she made the best homemade flan. All of that to say, that when I went AIP, I found some AIP Mexican inspired recipe substitutes, but to me, they aren't the same as what I had before AIP when I lived in SoCal. My biggest tip is to google "AIP Mexican food recipes" and look through to see what looks good. I have a favorite taco recipe, but again, it's not the same. My other biggest tip is to keep in mind the AIP elimination phase is temporary and usually only lasts 30-90 days depending on the person. Then the reintroduction phase starts and you can start to reintroduce some of your favorite foods if you choose to! ❤️❤️❤️❤️. Reach out anytime and let me know if you have any other questions. Hugs!

I really struggle with carbs on AIP. I do not like sweet potatoes. I’ve tried different types and colors. I do not like the texture and sweetness of them. I tend to go heavy on cassava flour and noodles to cover the carbs. What else could I use for carbs (besides fruit)? You are so informative and positive. I love watching your videos. I’ve learned so much from you!

    • @ShannaNemrow

Thank you so much Amber - it really means a lot! Carbs in the form of veggies are great on AIP! Some of my favorites (not including sweet potato) are butternut squash and spaghetti squash. But there's many more veggies to include on AIP that are sources of carbs as well.

I find making soups with purée carrots lends a less “sweet potato texture” than butternut squash if that is helpful.
Other higher carb veggies maybe try roasted beets? Love them with oil and salt.
I’m curious if your asking because you feel your energy is low, your loosing too much weight, or another reason? I lost a ton of weight initially on aip and I needed to, but I do feel for those people who didn’t need to loose weight because the vast drop in carbs is an adjustment!!!
Hope you are doing well, I know this is old

Shauna you’re adorable and so perky and helpful with your tips. Iv e been on AIP for 3 yrs but I get diarrhea from healthy fats especially coconut. I have to eat tiny amounts of avacado ect. I’ve tried ox bile and enzymes with no change. Resent ly I have colitis from inflammation and antibiotics. I’m In treatment with a natural path to build gut health, but any advice for diarrhea from fats?

Thank you so much for this informative video. And thanks for sharing that I can consume organ meats through a supplement. I appreciate you sharing the two brands you use. Are the supplements titled “organ meats”? If not, how do I find them on the website that I purchase my supplements?

Why would bone broth cause a histamine reaction? I think this happens to me.

I have been on AIP for a year and have made 90% improvement my question is why do you say if you don’t have a gallbladder to work with a nutritionist my gallbladder has been gone for almost 20 years is there something I should know about this matter

    • @ShannaNemrow
      @ShannaNemrow  3 года назад +1

Hi there Ruby! Congrats on your improvement! SO happy for you! Generally speaking, people who have their gallbladder removed usually feel better when taking a digestion supplement (usually containing lipase and/or ox bile for example) to help digest and absorb healthy fats. If you eat healthy fats and don't have any digestive issues at all, that's great!! Let me know if you have any other questions! ❤️❤️

@@ShannaNemrow thanks wasn’t sure if I was missing out on some extra healing ideals. I haven’t Noticed any digestive issues was just a little concerned maybe I’m not absorbing things as well without my gallbladder, My labs are good and the doctor runs them but you know how doctors are with Western medicine it’s all just a numbers game to them, took me six years to get a diagnosis in the first place spent three of them spent in bed.

@@rubybeard944 You're welcome! So the digestive enzymes just help with fat absorption and digestion. But if you're feeling great and working with your medical team, that's awesome! And wow! My heart is with you - it breaks thinking it took so long to find answers - 3 of them spent in bed. What an incredible story you have and you're an amazing example of how powerful nutrition and lifestyle are! Keep up the amazing work! I encourage you to share your story - you will inspire so many! ❤️❤️❤️
