Good clear setup instructions. It's plug n play for sure.. just use a bit of patience. I do GPU and CPU mining with 2 pc's and a laptop as well.. This is my first ASIC though. Also dabbling with USB stick miners too.

Very helpful video, thanks Matt. The only menu I couldn't find was the "Pool Config" screen where you named your miners 01 and 02. One question: Is it safe to let the Mini-Doge hardware unit run 7 days, 24/7? Temp reading is 77 degrees Celsius. Green color suggests that temp is normal.

What are the prospects for minidoge and why, where you see it, what you believe will happen, what are the fundamentals and use cases that make it more than a meaningless coin and all that? Thank you so much (btw hodling minidoge and considering to mine, but would live to learn why this would be beneficial and not just waste electricity)♥️nice video!
Absolutely, great question. And have to say, none of this is financial advice of course :) I only invest my $$ into projects that have utility and a use case and fundamentals like you said. Of course that doesn't mean that profits can't be made in coins that do not currently have utility and are meme coins. I thought the mini-doge miner was a best of both worlds situation for me. For a one time investment in the miner, I was able to mine Litecoin which has strong utility and fundamentals and as a byproduct, receive exposure to one of the most popular meme coins out there. So my philosophy is that I wouldn't put my own money into the coin but I also don't mind earning it & having it in my portfolio because there is value in it. I also believe that for the coin to continue to thrive, the team will need to evolve -- only time will tell.

Hello Matt. Justed subscribed. I'm following your sets but my second mini is not green on goldshell home dashboard. I removed it and re added the mini 2 but still not greeen. On the second equipment, there is a red light. Please advise and thank you per request.
Man I set up everything as far as I know but it says it’s running but I have zero hash rate so maybe I’m doing something wrong I set up a wallet on coin base then opened up the laptop I chose unmineable and etchhash algorithm GPUs device miner using phoneixminer but it’s running but not getting anything any suggestions

Can anyone help me. I setup one mini doge miner setup works great. I got my kd box yesterday but when i click find my miner, neither miners show up on my list. Am i missing a step
Thanks Matt, I was wondering about these miners. The payout is a little paltry, after taking in consideration the electrical cost, but after all, it's all about having multiple streams of passive income. I guess the noise isn't too bad, you have it setup inside your living room, yes? The only other concern I have is how long is the lifespan of these units, do they become obsolete over time?
Paltry is a great word ;) But you nailed it on my philosophy, I'm about as many streams of passive income as I can get my hands on because we don't have a crystal ball and know exactly which and when specific coins are going to explode so I want to accumulate as many of everything that I can get involved with. And the reality is that I'm not going to lose money, they're all going to at least break even for me in less than a year and I'm happy w/ that.
They are all in my living room. The noise isn't bad at all. I have a lot running over here and I don't notice the noise at all.
Great question about lifespan, I'd imagine that eventually hardware wears out but I'm not 100% certain.

Hey what’s up Matt I’m trying to get my mini doge miner going and as soon as I hit settings where it shows my miner it buffers for a minute and says site can’t be reached took too long to respond. Any ideas?
So just a dumb question does what you’re mining have to go to a wallet or can it go straight to a trading platform

Hey Matt , by any chance can you help me with setting up . I am on my goldshell login everytime i go to system > Wi-Fi settings and type my log in settings it logs me out the goldshell Wi-Fi network leaving me to reset the rig to have it pop up again ? Can anybody help me

Hi again Matt. This video briefly mentions that you need to mine Litecoin if you wish to mine Dogecoin. Really? Why? Can I use merged mining to mine both of them at once? My mini-Doge miner is quietly mining 24/7 but my revenue is only .004 Litecoin after 3 days. Is this right? How can I convert them to Dogecoin once I have a good quantity? You’ll have to set it up again because it’ll be on another IP address. But the username for the pool will be the same.
what is the standard payout per day and cost in electric etc for one machine? - Great video super useful and insightful
Thank you, Ben! Right now, on average I'm earning about .004 Litecoin per day which is $.84/day and about 8 Dogecoin per day which is about $1.74/day. Totaling $2.68/day. Electricity to run it costs me about $.67/day. I know I threw a lot of numbers out there but the miner is profiting $2.01/day currently. If Doge or LTC would break out of the lull they've been in, of course I'd be a lot happier and the profit goes up along with that price appreciation.

Thanks for the video Matt. My miner is up and running and has the green symbol on gold shell. It is connected to F2 pool but I cannot get any signal on F2 pool for the miner and shows 0 online and no workers. Please any tips to get this fixed?
Hi Luke! So I have been dealing with the same thing regarding my MiniDoge miners and I THINK I figured it out. They've been up and running again for 3 days now so fingers crossed. But all I did was DOWNGRADE the firmware to the previous version. I have a video on how to update it, so all you would do is select the previous version instead of the new version. Let me know if that makes sense, and if you give it a try, if it ends up working for you.

Does Ethernet cable go into Router and if my router is not in the room where I plan to put my miner what are my options?
Certain Goldshell miners come with WiFi connectivity but not all of them. Outside of that, you could just run a long ethernet cable through the walls but that's obviously not the most convenient.
@@MattMinesCrypto I got it taken care of. I ran an Ethernet cable across my attic and snaked down the wall in my garage where I then installed an Ethernet switch. I got 4 miners up and running and I’m waiting for 2 more. I got 2 CKB miners, 2 mini doge/litecoin miners a Bitcoin miner and a helium miner.

Hi Andy, when log into F2 Pool, click your account settings in the top right hand corner, click Payout Settings, then LTC, do you have wallet addresses entered for both LTC and DOGE?

@@MattMinesCrypto I start mining 4 days ago.. just got litecoin and today I got litecoin and dogecoin after entering the dogecoin wallet. I guess they won't give you any dogecoin if you don't enter the wallet address. Anyhow thanks for you help. Have a great holiday.
I just returned mine. The price for the miner is too high to receive small profit..
its all about collecting the amount of doge. so when the value goes up, youve added a ton of free shares
