    Just received my 4 mini doge miners. I can't seem to access the gui. When I click on setting in find my gold shell miner. I just get a timed out browser. Power and ether lights are green. And a blue blinking light on top. Having this issue with all 4. I've tried firefox, chrome, and edge same results. Suggestions?

      It is always best to keep your miners up-to-date. Earnings will continue to go down as the difficulty of the blockchain goes up (aka more miners mining at the same time).

    Hello blick thanks for the video i have an issue with my miners that i cant find a solution for it online
    I have 2 mini doge stoped working suddenly i turn it off and on again to enter the ip page it logs in at the first 5 seconds and then the page stops responding
    I rested the miners from the hidden black button on the top and no its still red blinking and the ip wont work
    What do you think the case is ?
    Do you think there is a virus like the antminer l3 + because i had the issue when i installed my l3+
    The updated the firmware a month ago so its up to date 2.1.2
    Any suggestions or solutions would be appreciated
    Thank you
    Best Regards

      Couple possibly be a couple things here... 1) make sure you don't have a VPN turned on on your browser, 2) Make sure you're using the same network on your wifi when searching for each miner (sometimes this will cause an issue, not always), 3) If this happened RIGHT after updating it's because the IP address gets changed as well (use find.goldshell.com to find each miner's IP addresses). 4) The latest firmware version is 2.1.3... although it's kind of hard to upgrade when you can't login to each IP.

    So I am very new to crypto mining and I just purchased my first miner, a goldshell mini doge. I can not figure out how to get to the miner on my network. I tried the goldshell "find my miner tool" and can see it on my network but when I click on the setting link "the thing that looks like a bolt" the web page times out and acts like the website is down? Any advise or a push in the right dirrection?

    • @CryptoBlick
      @CryptoBlick  2 года назад

      Hmmm... what browser are you using and is it up-to-date? Is your miner plugged in via Ethernet or connected over Wifi? Are you currently using a VPN or Ad-blocker right now?

    • @michaelsteingraber7978
      @michaelsteingraber7978 2 года назад

      So I tried crome and edge with the same result. It is plugged in with ethernet cable. I turned add blockers off. Here's what it interesting, if I plug the power cable in and while the miner is booting up I can get to the dashboard but it says "Opps! Miner pool is not ready yet make sure miner is fully construct and connected to a router" I can see the page but I can't interact with the settings. What should the lights on the machine look like? I have a solid blue light on the top, a solid red above the power connector. And a flashing orange on the left side of the ethernet with a solid green on the right.

    • @CryptoBlick
      @CryptoBlick  2 года назад

      @@michaelsteingraber7978 for the lights, when everything is booted up and running correctly... you should see a Blue light up-top, a Green light above the power connection, and a blinking yellow/orange and green lights over the Ethernet connection. So hearing that you have a Red light above the power connnection tells me that your machine isn't fully powered up or the power supply is not functioning correctly.
      Which power supply are you using? Are you on 120v or 240v? How many miners do you have plugged into the one power supply?

    • @michaelsteingraber7978
      @michaelsteingraber7978 2 года назад

      I am on 110v outlet and am using the PSU that came with the miner. However it came with a non-US cord so I swapped it out with a standard US outlet cord. There is a light on the PSU that came with the miner and its green, I was assuming that the green light on the PSU meant there was enough power going to it. Should it be on a 220v outlet? I do have an old gold 800 watt PSU from an old PC that is meant for 110v US outlet, maybe I should try that instead of the one that came with it?

    Hi - I am having a different problem trying to setup a new Mini-Doge - wonder if you can offer advice. I connect it to my network via ethernet, on the Goldshell site I click "find my miner" and it finds it, listing an IP address. But the "settings" button is grayed out, can't click it. I tried the second way in the Goldshell tutorial, to download and install and run the Yotta BC software, when I open it up, it can't find/recognize my miner at all. I press the button on the back, also tried pressing the hidden button, no change. So it kinda sorta is able to see my miner, but kinda sorta not, so I cant go farther in setting it up. This is a new box (in selaed box), but bought privately from a person who may have had it for months... is it possible it has such old firmware that it is incompatible (and if so, how update, flash card???). Any help/direction would be appreciated - thank you

    • @CryptoBlick
      @CryptoBlick  2 года назад

      Hey you bet. What browser are you on? Did you turn off your VPN (if you're using one) and your ad blocker? Sometimes those things will mess with you finding your miner. There is a slot on the miner to update the firmware with a memory card but I've never done that before. I've always logged into the miner to update it that way. Let me know what you find out after trying a couple of these things.

      @@CryptoBlick Thanks for getting back to me. I am using Chrome, dont have VPN, tried turning off AV, and a few other things. Here is the workaround that helped... use laptop to connect to Goldshell WIFI, and able to access dashboard that way... but... only with ethernet cable also connected. Still not able to connect the miner to my WIFI, but I do have it actually mining via ethernet cable. The only way I can get to dashboard is to connect to the Goldshell wifi from my laptop. I have read many reddit posts of similar problems, it bothers me that my setup experience is totally different than the Goldshell tutorial videos, medium articles, etc., and even though I have a solution, I dont know why, and it doesnt "feel" right. Fingers crossed...

    • @CryptoBlick
      @CryptoBlick  2 года назад

      @@bpetri4622 hopefully it works for you! Update the firmware as soon as you can and that should help. Not sure if you're trying to mine over WIFI but Ethernet is better because you won't be fighting latency issues and issues with your Wifi going down at times.
