The design has a cooling issue and in turn priced too much in this market.
These Asics are just like a gpu as I take off my side glass panel from my gaming pc when i mine crypto to get better cooling to the gpu. The better the cooling the more hashrate you can get from these things. If they make a mini doge 4 they need to add 2 more fans in the back side as well as the front or just make the fans on the box 120 mm in size while adding 2 more fans, then cooling would not be a problem here.

I have a kd lite and it makes 50¢ a day lol and that's not including power. I wasted $1500 and now it won't even connect to a pool. I tried all of them but it only works on the test pool. I will definitely not buy a goldshell again.
I wish these things weren't so dang expensive. Huge markups on these of 40 percent or higher.
Can't seem to find anything under 500 that is actually in stock or not inflated to an abnormally high price.

Even with free electric and 1.50 a day profit you would never break even for a long time if at all. As Doge drops so does profit. I don't foresee doge staying at 15 cents for very long

I am debating that as well. I have saved doge mini 3s in my amazon cart still along with 4090 lc gpus and a 7950x3d CPU with 192gb ram for HDD mining chia whenever coinbase will allow me to sell and trade xch and gpu mining meme coins. If these can do what a 4090 can do, then I'll buy these instead to save some money here as the last asic miner I bought was the old L3+ antminer and boy that thing STUNK like hot metal and melting plastic in the garage! I had to throw it out as I was afraid that asic would catch fire when I left it on at night with the garage door slightly open to get cold air in there for it to breathe properly.

Dude, what is your KA-Box temperature? I'm trying to keep it 69c. Hashrate decreases when it reaches 50c
Keep it between 60-70c. Anything below 60c it will decrease hashrate because of the target temperature. There is a new firmware that was released to fix that

@@RedPandaMining Yes i think they changed one of the very first steps, probably "mining.authorize", which is the step you send your wallet address and optionally a password if you want to mine with a fixed difficulty.
No it's not the firmware update. KAS POOL got hacked and is down. It's not your miner brother trust me
Kaspa-pool had a DDoS attack yesterday and most people were not able to connect to their stratum. It's supposed to be back to normal now so perhaps you can try to see if the new firmware can connect to them again?
