You CAN technically still mine scrypt with cpu and gpu, just not the big coins. You can also solo mine with cpu/gpu but good luck hitting a block. Not practical or profitable but fun to know.

I can't see my worker pop up after following the steps at the bottom for GPU mining. Was there something more than just downloading NBminer and placing the bat file in the mining folder and running it for my worker to show up?
