I don’t know why most reveiwers are mentioning rubber band effect of cvt when they talk about an ecvt of Hycross.
Ecvt ‘s dont have rubber band effect and they are very different from conventional cvt’s and don’t have belts and pulleys which cause rubber band effect.
Moreover torque delivery is smoother and instant which eliminates rubber band feel 👍
Yet, torque converter and dct are the best transmission in world

Not underestimate Toyota but Xuv700 is class. I'm a proud owner of top model and love driving it. It's a complete family car, even kids enjoy a lot in long drive.

I am a xuv 700 owner i will personally say my opinion that xuv 700 is a fantastic vehicle for me it offers everything that you want .I will not say bad about innova hycross but i feel innova is something which you should have a good driver you will sit in the rear seat and you will enjoy your journey in that innova is best for you...But if you want a car which will give you an suvish look and you want to drive that car on your own you want to enjoy by driving the car then go for xuv 700..So choose wisely beacuse xuv 700 engine is very good 450nm torque is more than enough..Omg it just crawls if you will not press the accelerator...But innova petrol engine may not feel so good for diesel users.

Dost, my experience is tumble is not as comfortable as slide forward and bend option. Try it yourself to get into a safari which tumbles and then into Ertiga which does not. Ertiga is better to get in and out.

After test Driving, I have cancelled my hycross booking. Driving experience is very same in both till 75 kmpl. But just above that you will feel high rpm rev without paddle input and car looses torque and power. I think that it is was due to switching between ev to petrol mode.
After having turbo car of 2k cc in past. I felt hycross underpower above 75kmpl

Honestly 6str jet edition safari is more luxurious, comfortable and premium than hycross. Safari uses original leather all over the car and also the head rest is awesome. The throw of ac is also better in safari

Hycross ka maintanence cheap nahi hogi as it carries the battery pack. Ek bar warranty khatam or life of battery gets over battery change ka cost saara savings ek bar me nikal dega. I feel abhi bhi india me diesel is a better option than hybrid. My bet would be on XUV700.
I saw a couple of Innova hycross heading to showroom resting at a midway on Purvanchal expressway. The body looks bloated. Felt the tyres were smaller w.r.t body. No doubt it is bigger in size than the previous version. But I would prefer the previous version anyday.

Hycross anyday, XUV700 is not going to last more than 5 year, remember the hype around xuv 500, the booking numbers were so high that the car sales were restricted to some cities and what happened? The hype died and the car is no where to be seen, compare that with innova, we still see the old innova commonly on the road.

According to Co. upto 160000 km driven is the battery life. No body knows the battery replacement cost. According to my information but i m not sure the amount of battery is 5-6 Lakh approx.

Bro, XUV700 is the updated version of XUV500. Production of XUV500 has been already stopped as its latest version xuv700 is coming out now.
Comparing both, obviously xuv700 will be better because of its refinements.
XUV 700 would have been my choice had they improved the quality of switches, screen etc. Instead of going for one dozen variants Mahindra should concentrate on a model with all essential features, improved electronics, switches with automatic diesel for 25 L on road price. this for family and 30L for 4X4 variant for that segment.

Just because you changed your mind doesn't mean XUV is not worth. 2litre mstallion and the tried and tested 2.2 mhawk is always a gem when compared to the newly launched ecvt's producing low torque and power in hycross costing around 30lakh. Toyota totally screwed it.

@@anugrahatreya Actually it’s not like that. Once EV infrastructure is fully developed and good cars are available things will be different. Moreover there will be lots of push by government and you have to shift with the times. I personally drove EV and it’s really great.
