Me personally I hate all mid generation refresh. That includes the ps4 pro and switch oled I’m not saying they don’t offer anything of value but I can’t justify paying a more expensive version of a system I already have for a small upgrade. The switch oled is nice but totally unnecessary, the ps4 pro was pointless when my games on ps4 looked great already. Buying an upgrade all it does is make these companies more greedy when they get away with it imo. Buying a mid gen refresh makes the actual next generation feel like less of a jump. I always stick to my launch hardware me personally and I don’t regret saving more money. The ps5 pro is getting out of hand but that’s what Sony wants to accomplish, pure greed
PS5 launch was like 2015 tech. 399 digital edition. The PS5 Pro is a marginal upgrade to 2015 tech, so manufacturing wise it should be cheaper than launch SKU but 799. It's a ridiculous cash grab.
You can play Series X and PS5 games on PC, on top of 10.000's of PC exclusive games. Gaming PC's are nice for video editing and a million other things a console can't do.
my msi gaming pc was only $750 - prebuilt and free delivery - and i have 40 years of pc games at my fingertips lol

dawg you could build something that can play pretty much all modern games for 600ish bucks.
