You should check to see if the ribbon cables are fully seated first, but you could also try the upside down trick mentioned in the video too but it can have the unintended side effect of scratching the top of your disc so be careful!
As much as I would love to send you two or 3 huge boxes just to see you unbox it all and hear what you have to say about the old collection. I just cant. Not quite ready to part with it all yet. Maybe the atari stuff. It doesnt have the sentimantal value that everything else has.
Nope! Nobody called the original PlayStation, "the psx," when it was contemporary. With exception to the failed Nintendo prototype being known as the "play station experimental" and some 3rd party peripherals, who didn't want to use the trademarked name on their unofficial products, the reference only became a thing well after the millennium and seems to be a Mandela effect now. It's especially dumb to call the original PlayStation or PS1, a psx, since there's actually a Japan release only console called that for real. Nobody has ever shown me a 1995-1999 public reference to the PlayStation as "psx" on any magazine, advert or other media--I'm yet to be proven otherwise, despite being told I'm wrong (by people a lot younger than me, likely born near or after the PlayStation's launch).
Pretty cool to see Austin on another channel and agree with the other comment about a video where y’all test and fix a few of them!
He’s the best! And thanks for the feedback! 😁
Will there be a follow up video where the consoles are actually tested and fixed?
That’s a great idea!! 🙏
Wow Austin! Hell yeah man
The on-screen talent here is a handsome son of a gun; should definitely invite him back to do more videos. 😎👍
We’ll pass that along to Austin! 😳
i picked up an original ps1 with composite outputs. the disc wont spin is the only problem. easy fix?
