The genuine joy of this video is not just the chaos of THE reveal, but the lead up to it. Spoilers for those who have yet to survive the entirety of this incredible video: Nathan's journey to the answer was incredible, and I was on that same journey at the same time. After putting the mic down, tears in his eyes, he asks, "Y'all remember that cartoon where everyone has the same face and they just stare directly at you..." The second he said that, I envisioned the opening of King of the Hill, where all four of the guys are hanging out in front of the fence, and, in beat with Nathan, had the same horrific realization. I like how Julia captured Ren's most identifying feature, all his sharp corners and not at all bendy lines.
I thought it could be a rabbit, but as soon as she said it was a dog and drew the pencil neck, I knew.
Julia is allergic to round shapes so it makes sense she wouldn't remember that part of the character design
Counterpoint: Julia draws the true essence of a any character she is tasked with
Counterpoint to your counterpoint, any of the Pokemon videos.
Yes! Vibee time
Countercounterpoint: Bobby Hill
Counterpoint: as someone with the same issue as Julia, I hope not, because the implications would be terrifying
Counterpoint to all other counterpoints, look into your soul and see the truth of Julia: that vibes are king and she is their draw-scribe
I love how specifically Julia has selected to use her skill points.
it's beautiful
I can't wait to see if DeepBlueInk does something with the Bobby Hill section.
Julia trying to draw at the computer.
Nathan and Karina losing their minds in their chairs, falling to the floor.
Jacob just straight up leaving the room and yelling thru the door "ITS NOT BOBBY HILL"
If y'all do this again, you need to have Julia look up the characters shes drawing after she's done so she can see how fundamentally wrong everything went.
Nathan pointing out that woody looks like a smaller Fred and Julia saying "yea?" Like that's how he's meant to look is hilarious
To be fair her Fred did look more like Woody than Fred. It also looked more like Woody than her Woody.
Fred’s kind of like If Woody and Bo had a kid…
Julia is excellent at getting every detail exactly wrong and still somehow nailing the vibe of the character.
Their vibe, but at their most tired and overwhelmed by the crushing weight of the world’s many ills
This episode made me lose it so many times. Jacob calling peppa “famous childrens cartoon character Gun-Head” caught be so off guard. Watching Julia draw such a big brim on “woody’s” hat sent me into a coughing fit I was laughing so hard. The entirety of the Bobby Hill bit.
It kills me that Julia actually drew Fred’s eyes correctly because the style is most similar to the faces she defaults to, yet she still fixes it to make it less accurate in the end😂 30:35
They made her doubt it
she was gaslighted
Woody ended up looking more like Fred than Fred did
@@Rinwolfienekoand Fred looks like woody 😂
26:07 seeing Julia's gorgeous art next to her doodles is genuinely so inspiring and comforting.

I love how defeatedly Julia says "nooOoO" to most of the guesses and everyone starts to lose it progressively
I have never wished for face cam so badly than during the Bobby Hill segment oh my god, plus everyone started laughing in the same register and it was so perfect 😭
19:07 Julia's despair in her "It'll make sense. It'll make sense." is truly haunting. I died from laughing too hard.
Rest in peace
that's so sad RIP.
@@cheetoduster252 @nasmma Don't worry, I was shocked back to life when "Julia you didn't change ANYTHING!!!" happened at 19:38. Only ded for 31 seconds, phew.
You can literally hear Jacob speedrun the 5 stages of grief when he realizes that it's Bobby Hill and it cracks me up so bad
The synchronised "Kermit." at 09:22 was sublime.
I also said Kermit when they did 😭
I chimed in. I hope at least 50% audience did that too.
Also the harmonized "No" at 11:18
@@Rymerik A perfect 5th apart!
We all thought it was Kermit. 😑
"these are not Joanna's Eggs, and these are not Joanna's legs" is absolutely killing me
This style of video might be my absolute favorite, just a bunch of friends hanging out and doin' a thing
For those worried that Julia was getting too close to the real thing in the first drawings... just wait. Chaos will come.
I just keep coming back to the absolutely beautiful harmonised "no" at 11:17, it is magnificent and the fact that it went unacknowledged is a crime
I literally came to the comments just to see if anyone else recognized it 😂
Yeah that scared me
Why is it so perfect??

Yesss, it's so good
Nothing brings me more joy in the world than Nathan losing his whole ass laughing
Same!!! So cute
Yeah, but what's that on his head though?
@@halcyonab it's impossible to say
He's got just such a great breaking laugh
“What does this character look like?” -> proving Julia felt confident about all of them up to this point.
The genuine joy of this video is not just the chaos of THE reveal, but the lead up to it. Spoilers for those who have yet to survive the entirety of this incredible video:
Nathan's journey to the answer was incredible, and I was on that same journey at the same time.
"That's... That's -- NO, JULIA, THAT'S BOBBY HILL?!?!?!"
The best part is he says "no" not "oh" like he speedruns the stages of grief so fast xD
The hosts have such different reactions to the drawings. Jacob sounds angry, Karina seems morbidly fascinated, and Nathan is just confused and delighted.
