- Welcome to day 1 of the IGNITE Breathe and Flow yoga program and yoga challenge by Breathe and Flow. We're so proud of you for joining us! Today we're starting strong with a 30 minute vinyasa flow class to open, lengthen and strengthen the body. We connect breath to movement. After that Flo is guiding you through a breathing exercise (pranayama) which is called nadi shodhana pranayama or also known as alternating nostril breathing. All of this prepares you nicely for the following meditation. We invite you to stay for the full length of this class, approach it with an open mind and open heart, be kind and patient to yourself and work with the body that you have today.
Our classes tend to be on the stronger side but we make them very accessible for all levels. Feel free to take breaks if you need to, pause the video if needed and join us when you're ready again. This is not a competition or if you can make it without taking any breaks. This is for you to feel good, move, breathe and perhaps be challenged both physically and mentally. Let's do this!

I just gave this a go after completing EMBARK and I kept telling myself this was too hard, that I was out of my depth - but there were new challenges and ways to meet my self that I'd never done before, and reading these comments has given me extra fuel to try again tomorrow 🧡

Hey Tyler, so happy you enjoy our classes and videos. We actually just do yoga, our personal practice is pretty strong and we do it daily. I also do brazilian jiujitsu, and Bre and I do some bouldering and climbing but no weight lifting or anything. Nutrition wise we're both plant based and do intermittent fasting every day for 20h, that means we only eat in a 4h window over lunch time. To summarize it all in this comment :)

Started my yoga journey about a month ago now and the difference in my abilities has been incredible to witness. I once tried this program (Ignite) last year and the first one was so difficult I couldn't make it past the first minute. I finally decided a year later finally to give it a full on go again starting with the Embark program and doing that program until I am confident in finishing every day of the program. I have gotten to that point now and tried Day 1 of Ignite this morning and holy crap... I did have to stop a couple times, but finished about 95% of the workout I would say. This next month I believe is going to be very interesting in seeing the improvements. I plan on doing this program for a 2-3 months then start doing Flow's 5AM workouts for men in the mornings and get back into weight training some in the afternoon! So excited!

This will be my 5th or 6th time going through this 28 day flow. It's always nice to come back to if I've fallen off my routine, or if I'm feeling stagnant in my practice. It's always nice to reground with this course. I'd love to see you guys do another 28 or 30 day "challenge" with a bit more of an intermediate approach. Maybe a minimal cue 30 day class. I love all your stuff so what ever you make next I'll love regardless. Much love 🙏.
So I had COVID and I was pretty damn sick. I was in really good shape, and I went from being completely healthy to not being able to walk across the room without getting exhausted. It’s been a month, and I finally am able to breathe somewhat normally again. This is my reintroduction to getting back into shape, thank you so much
I'm in the same spot. It was discouraging to feel weakness when I had been so strong, but it's a reminder to be thankful for the time that we are strong and to be aware that nothing lasts forever. I'm up to 20 minutes of yoga daily. How are you doing 4 months later?
Excellent! I also enjoyed the slight distraction from outside and how you two paused to acknowledge, address, and move on. Showed the parts of life we all recognize and then continue with our practice.
Its been two years, I've had knee problems-insane cracking every time I released the bend. I've searched everywhere for a solution! A friend recommended your page, I've been wanting to do yoga so I went forward with it. I've never felt so good! I can literally feel my knees getting stronger, I feel so great and my depression is subsiding! I couldn't run nor workout anymore, I had given up-thank you for everything! I have hope I can do what I love once again 🙏❤

Much respect to FLO! The most honest and a little vulnerable video I have seen and it makes me appreciate being human! The acknowledgment of distraction, acceptance and moving on~ It is tough for me to move on! This is a good lesson!

I was introduced to you guys through a friend last year when you started this challenge, but I found out Jan 15 that I was pregnant so I never did it. Fast forward to yesterday, RUclips reintroduced me to this channel and today, 8 months postpartum I am finally beginning the challenge. I love it so far!! I feel so strong after doing your challenging yet logical flows :) so much gratitude to you both for the content you share with us. Looking forward to the changes I'll see in the next 27 days :)
Its the 7th of April 2021. I am based in Durban South Africa and I am deeply grateful to the spirit that led me to this channel and Yoga Challenge. I cant afford yoga classes, yet, so youtube has been a great help because I would like to become a yoga teacher. Today's class was definitely challenging! wow! I had to do a lot of modifications but I made it. Im excited for what comes next!!
I went through the Embark program and started this Ignite day 1 and 2 all week. I absolutely love it!!!! I feel like I'm getting a great workout and feel stronger than I did when I focused on lifting weights. I love how you two teach this, thank you so much!!

I started doing yoga for online PE work, but after watching the other program, embark, I have really fallen in love with yoga.

Tried this recently and gave up fairly quickly, feeling resentful that I wasn't born with better DNA. Then, yesterday, I got attacked by an aggressive pack of street dogs. Having nearly become dog breakfast (puffed my chest out, kicked to maintain distance, waited, hoped... survived, obviously), I'm now feeling a little more grateful for my body... and I just finished Day 1! It may not have been pretty but I've decided that just not getting eaten by dogs is already an inherently beautiful state to find oneself in.
Unpretty yoga is my new thing.
Today is my first day of a yoga exercise and I feel so proud for completing it even if I keep falling down. Hope to become more stronger as the next challenge goes by. Namaste
I thought of yoga program that I must try and I found you guys. I just finished day one and I was overwhelmed. I almost cried with gratitude at the end because it is a difficult time still. The simplest thing as rolling your mat to start the yoga is gratifying to one’s self. Thank you for making me appreciate that simple thing.
I just want to express my gratitude for you both taking the time to create this wonderful challenge and above all, providing it free. I experience health fluctuations (due to an underlying medical condition) and this is my 3rd attempt starting this challenge within the last 5-7 months. (I still have yet to finish it through). I’ve practiced a range of your classes from yin to yang. Now, I am at a point where I know my body is ready for strength training and this is an amazing opportunity to guide me. I really enjoyed the Embark programme particularly the combination of yoga breathing and meditation. I feel stronger and more flexible already which is a bonus aged 53 🙏
I have started it today. It was tough for me but your comforting voice helped me to keep pushing. I completed the session and now I have even greater resolve to complete this 28 day program with my best focus and enthusiasm.

I think it was the first time to me experiencing the flow during a phisical excersise. It is beautiful, I feel calm, I feel connected, but I also feel strong and aware!

Not a lot of people talk about regression. And just in one and a half months I have regressed so much but I think most of it is mental. So here I am hopping back on the fucking program because apparently I need this right now. So grateful for you guys and look forward to one day coming to teacher training I'll let you know how this course goes Day by day. Only just found you a week ago, when looking for a good Yin practice, and so glad I did. Day one, my weakness shows. My stability is shakey. I come from a movement background so accepting that was and is a challenge. what you experience is normal, the majority of our students feel like this for the first 7-10 days and then things click, make sense, will be unlocked in a way. just follow the program and stay consistent. you already made the biggest step which is to START 🖤

I'm a day behind thanks to time zone... Since I only do yoga in the morning. Woke up today with a pinched nerve in my left shoulder and thought I wouldn't be able to do this. Well, I did it. For some reason, the poses, even the planks did not bring pain in my shoulder. Hoping this flow will speed up the healing. Namaste! Thank you for this challenge. 🧘

I did your Training for the first time. It was a recommandation from my medical doctor. I was sceptical in the beginning. I did some yoga before… and I also almost fell 😂 but I did my best. What I really really really do appreciate is that you re not showing on pose after another - as its done in so many videos - but you’re teaching how to breath and meditate. I'm starting this challange a little later than you, but I'm really grateful to you both, for helping me on this path. I had quite rough times behind me, moving to a different country 3 weeks ago, almost totally alone, looking for job, a trying to start my life...its not that easy. But this yoga program helps me a little, even if this was my first day doing it, I already feel better, so thank you so much.
Both Bre and I did something similar to what you're doing, we moved to another country or state without knowing anyone, looking for a job, finding housing, friends and so on - starting over. And yoga and meditation helps tremendously. So glad you found our videos. Keep up the great work, you'll find that you can be completely fine on your own and the universe always has your back. So I am back here after 28 days of embark. My first 28 days of routine in my whole life (33). It is sad. No, actually it was sad, as now I am able to accept where am I. I am thankful and gratefull to you guys. I have been energetic, happy and strong almost everyday and I really have seen progress in how I feel and how my body reacts to movements. Bless you! I will do it one year everyday as I promised! I believe that.

I just started this 28 day program for the second time!! I still struggle with some of the poses, but I'm really happy with how much stronger I have gotten. Thank you for these amazing videos!!!!
The beginning was quite hard for me. I was surprised that I couldn’t hold a side plank properly-I kept falling out. But I’m happy I stuck with it and continued the practice. I will definitely redo this before moving on to the next video.

This has truly been the best find of a channel, like it was fate.. I was looking for a power yoga flow (Former D1 athlete and played highly competitive in 4 sports but recently coming off an insane 12 year addiction, almost sounds fake at 28 years old & I wish it was but yoga has truly been my saving grace since I have become sober).. but I was also finding myself going elsewhere to learn or have a teacher truly focus and dedicate time on the breathing aspect which I truly want to learn how to control if not master one day. The quarantine killed me as the yoga studio I signed up for and paid for unlimited classes, only was there for a week before forced to close due to virus.. however, it has taken me a week at home to finally find the mat and the right channel and I can’t thank you 2 enough for providing this Content.. Flow, I love you additional tip videos and the breathing series.. can’t wait to try them out but for now, on Day 1 and looking forward to FORCING & PUSHING myself to complete this program every single day of it.. thank you

Yeah, day one!
Doing EMBARK a couple of times really helped me get here. I have to say it was a bit fast in some movement transitions, but I made it. I'm also pumped up 'cause I rarely finish anything or I'm not consistent with practice. I hope I can finish this in the 28 days it takes, otherwise I'll just keep going anyway, it doesnt matter ❤
This is so much better for someone who is starting out. Was able to hold every pose, got a bit of a sweat on and feel great; ready to tackle the day/week. Thank you

This was hard! But I loved it. two months ago I wasn't even able to keep a plank for 30 secs, now I even managed with the side plank (all shaky and red, but I did it...). Thank you guys!!

Oh man, this was hard. I was falling all over the place and had to stop the video and take a child's pose lol. BUT I made it to the end, and I feel such a deep sense of accomplishment and peace. It was challenging, but this is what I need! Thank you for this!

I'll do this the 2nd time now because this 7 day class is just the best I found. Not only movement and strength but also breathwork and meditation and your calm advices are doing so well
I just finish the embark week, it was great. Today is my first day to this new journey. This first season was a bit challenging on the core . I persever and I understand more the essential of breathing.

I'm so glad than finally I could find a yoga pracixe which goes slowly. Mostly of them are very fast.
Day 1 in the books! Great practice guys!! Had to stop and rest a few times but no worries. Great movements. I can "feel" it everywhere. I ran myself short on time this morning and missed the meditation. Gotta start a little earlier tomorrow. All in all great start to the morning!

Thank you you guys, did ignite before and it was very difficult for me. Now I'm coming back to it after doing pulse and I can feel the differences in my body. Now that I've built up a bit of strength the meditation and breath work is the hardest part haha, building that awareness muscle too. ❤️
This was great! I just completed Embark a few times which I feel really prepared me well for Ignite. Definitely a challenge with increased strength and flexibility, I fell over a couple e times, but I pushed through it. The mental clarity and good vibes I feel at the end makes it so worth it. Thank you.
I’ve started the program today and I feel great I am working out in a park near by my house in front of the bay is awesome feel close to nature and as you two making the video I don’t feel lonely I feel like I am in a class...I just love.. my gym runout of business and it’s not going to open after quarantine I was very sad but now I am back in track with you guys thanks so much from Annapolis Maryland
