"Hey, Jonny, how are you and Tara doing?" "Ah, yeah, uh, me and Tara are... no longer together... we broke up." "Why? That's terrible!" "She didn't make me soup!" "Oh, I see, What a heinous crime!"
The last one was adorable, we've really improved as people, accepting one another as equals. Its a shame that the world is collapsing around us, all we can do is smile and at least be great ful for the meals that get us through the night.
We've improved as people? The world is collapsing around us not because we've improved as people, but because people like you prioritize empty, MEANINGLESS gestures like characters represented in soup commercials like that is what holds our society together.
0:04 mm good! 0:06 call sister 0:14 meal chicken?? 0:21 popped 0:28 oh no 0:31 talking about me 0:39 says soup 0:42 soup had a salad delicious 0:52 sad song 1:03 mm good! Again 1:14 CAMPBELL'S BEEF NOODLES soup
Yikes, watching these makes me realize why my parents and grandparents all swore by the stuff before the year 2000, these commercials all scream iconic and the animation styles and the music are as catchy as can be for the time. As an avid millenial modern consumer, this stuff is oddly adorable and painful at the same time. It reads to me as a maturing state of propoganda in media- and one that never died out. Our current media machine is still built on this type of commercial success
Saw the thumbnail and thought they were both little girls. Now, you CAN'T tell me they aren't two little girls playing house with one playing as the husband ^_^
1950's: Adorable animation and catchy jingle, it was a different time so screw anyone bashing it. Like this modern era is any better, I wish the 50's came back honestly 1960's: Very cute commercial, I like the little characters since they remind me of those VHS tapes I had with classic cartoons on them. 1970's: It's okay I guess, a little boring but nice overall. 1980's: Amazing animation with a very catchy song which I thought was cute too. What a lovely commercial, felt all warm and fuzzy inside. ^o^ 1990's: I think it's kinda cringe but in a funny way. Everything was all hippity hop this and that in the 90's but eh, it could be worse since the worst doesn't come until the 2020's. 2000's: What can I say, the 2000's were radical filled with extreme this and that. Totally awesome! But I do miss the music, the movies, shows and the aesthetic of it all. 2010's: pretty sure I saw this commercial even before the 2010's. Maybe it was a mix up? Anyway this commercial seems more like late 2000's if I remember correctly. 2020's: garbage, plain and simple. I know why they never show a white boy and girl together anymore and for that the pandering is abysmal. No amount of shoving this nonsense in people's faces and attempting to make it "sweet" or "touching" is going to get people to go "aww, how cute". No, it does the opposite and in fact only adds more fuel to the fire. I say let them keep pandering, more people are bound to reject this the more they see the obvious and believe me THEY WILL. Besides, it's already happening and I for one am glad more people are realizing as the critical drinker say 'the message' that's being injected in every aspect of society.
Back then girls were exceptionally good at math: factor'g, lowest common denominators, and cancelation 😮 No worries, little Johnny hasn't got a prayer. Irene locked the door behind him.
"Ma'am I can't marry you.."
"But why?!"
"You didn't fix Campbell's soup for lunch"
No soup
No marriage
😂
The 50's ad was the best. No bs, drama or pandering. Just straight to the point.
"Hey, Jonny, how are you and Tara doing?" "Ah, yeah, uh, me and Tara are... no longer together... we broke up." "Why? That's terrible!" "She didn't make me soup!" "Oh, I see, What a heinous crime!"
Nooooo!😭😭😭
😱
2022 looks like something straight out of cocomelon
🤣 Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment, always appreciated!
I thought it looked like Paw Patrol or The Boss Baby.
😅
And that is why i am not married. Cant find a woman who can open a can of soup :P

No it’s disgusting that it’s becoming the new normal. Tf are they trying to pander to the blacks or something ?

Finally, someone from the culture.
You didn't even include the iconic "Let It Snow" commercial?
4:49 looks like ads be like:
The first one was from the 50s, so of course there's going to be some horrible message in it.
Saw the thumbnail and thought they were both little girls. Now, you CAN'T tell me they aren't two little girls playing house with one playing as the husband ^_^
Men... soup soup soup it's all they ever think about.
