Mock Strawberries

🍓Have you ever heard of mock strawberries?
🍓I knew these little red cuties had to be something special when I spotted them!
🍓 Here are a few differences between wild strawberries and mock strawberries.
Mock berries have a bumpy texture while strawberries are smooth. Mock strawberries have yellow flowers instead if white like wild strawberries. Also, the wild version’s berries grow down, while the mock berries grow up. Kind of cool, huh? Also, once you bite into a mock strawberry you immediately know it’s not a real strawberry! It’s bland and dry instead of juicy and flavorful.
🍓This tiny little plant has lots if great things going for it too. The plant can be used to treat snake bites, insect bites, eczema, burns, abscesses, and boils. It can also be used to reduce fevers, as an anticoagulant, an antiseptic and more!

The ones in my backyard are decently sweet and they are not wild strawberries I find the taste refreshing
