Harvesting Medicinal Herbs
🌿Are you growing any medicinal herbs this year or do you want to?
🌿Last year was the first year that I really got into growing more specialty herbs.
🌿 Every time I grow a new plant, it’s so much fun to watch it grow at each stage until harvest.
🌿I love that I can grow so many different herbs and flowers for everyday ailments.
🌿There are so many wonderful plants that can help us naturally without running to the pharmacy.
🌿If you’d like to learn how to grow your own medicinal herbs, check out my herb guide:

I just discovered this injection method. I’ve been cutting them out in previous years. Seems this is a way better option. Thanks for sharing ❤
Where did you buy 2 oyas that size for under 5 bucks?
Hello beautiful girl ❤❤❤
Why raised beds?
Awesome! 👏
Y’all are an awesome team. 😎😎🪴🪴
How long it takes to see changes after hand pollination? I pollinated mines by hand. Don’t see any changes yet, but with zucchini it’s within a few days
What would people think😂
Grass hoppers eat my peas all gone and my squash.
Where do you get them?
Meh. After many years of struggling to garden, I embraced fertilizers. While I will always reach for organic first, I am no longer opposed to synthetic fertilizers ❤
Currently in Southern California. Hoping we will be neighbors soon in Arkansas. I’m hoping to find a spot in the Ouchita mountains.
yes, please do not use peat moss either way. it's so bad for the environment. it releases co2 gas into the air when harvested, too acidic for some plants and it destroys ecosystems!!
Im.prefer soil,i use.peatmoss my seed not germinate well dont know y
My 1st veggies are starting to sprout
That bug you threw in the soapy water is an assassin bug.
I have a very similar child. 😂❤ I have cut my aloe to use for burns. Is there a way to make it grow in again? Mine has very little roots and no pups, even though I’ve had it for a couple of years.
How did you treat that vain?
How tall are your trellis sticks🤩❓
I really like growing marshmallow.
Can i eat these
I am going yo give this a try i just worried about the wind we get here
I found your channel this morning and I'm so glad I did 😊
I totally get it. The only reason I don't go all natural is because I'm container gardening which is unnatural from the onset. Also I grow Tamarinds, and Tamarinds barely need any fertilizer. You didn't talk about compost in this video, but a nutrient rich organic compost mix without enough drainage will end up rotting and killing my trees. I can use a natural compost mix or homemade compost mix whenever I decide to put a tree in the ground. In a container though the mix is going to have to be at least somewhat artificial, or unnatural. For now I just use a very small amount of water soluble synthetic fertilizer. The fact that it washes away is actually good thing for container gardening trees because that's another way the trees don't get over fertilized. I try not to use excess though. For 1 gallon of water I'll use 1 tsp of Miracle-Gro. Definitely love any extra information I can get though and next time I go to the store I'll see if they have any water soluble organic options. If you have any recommendations for container gardening, I would definitely love to learn about that as well.
I would like to see footnotes pointing to the evidence for these various assertions. There must be evidence, right? I mean good, high-quality studies of synthetic vs. 'organic' plant fertilizers. Nobody would make these claims without evidence, right?
Bless the zealots;
Why don’t you dyor and make video. I guess your brain is eat up with chemicals and you can’t discern the difference between natural and synthetic. 😂
@@ryang5842 But fungi and microbes that metabolize the nitrogen, potassium and phosphates in lab manufactured fertilizers cannot , in fact, tell the difference between nitrogen , potassium and phosphates that come from compost or come from test tubes. There ain't no such thing as "synthetic' nitrogen or synthetic sulfur. Whether lab produced nutrients contain lead or arsenic is a very different issue. All that said, lab produced nutrients feed SOIL not plants. And can take 5 years to be broken down such that plants can ingest them. We feed the soil. microbes feed plants. BUT lab produced nutrients do not include a single fungus or microbe and so are 100 percent dependent on your soil possessing the life forms that a) can break down the compounds and b) feed the plants. And I say all that as someone who uses only my own home made compost on which to grow fruit and vegetables. (and of course, compost is saturated with bacteria and fungi - they are what breaks down organic matter to make compost).
What if I used it one time because it was all I had and plants were struggling? Did I ruin my garden and plants?
No it's fine. Just try to stick with organic after that.
If it’s untreated wood, will it get damaged / rot when u water?
Thank You.
What is pitt moss? Does she mean PEAT moss??
This was helpful, thank you! Now, to get those squash bugs off my plants!!!!
Her lack of intelligence is astonishing.
Will be rotted within 3-4 years, I suspect.

Can I get a link for that outdoor drying rack?

cardboard contains all the ungodly awful toxins like PCBs Dioxin lead cadmium from the 1960s the rivers were dumping grounds and paper used river water to make paper and the bad studd stayed in the recycling chain so no paper product is to be trusted. You can google it.
I love your videos and how chipper you are, you make it so much fun. I looked up the pitt moss, that stuff's expensive, really expensive!!! I wouldn't be able to do much gardening with that, I'd have to sell the farm to afford it. Thanks tho and God bless Jude, from Kentucky ✝️🐴🇺🇸⚒️🇺🇸❣️
You can sell them whenever you see them I’ll buy em
Ive looked a lot and never found HARD PROOF that companions improve flavor. Its an old myth but otherwise I agree with you about the info on bugs
How do you prove something subjective, like taste?
❤❤❤
