    That’s why I said before I don’t think there will ever be a rivalry like Brian and big Z ever again because so many people are so damn good now so every other year I can see a new person winning. Like I don’t see just two people winning so many events and competing against one another ever again.

      A very interesting observation and a good point. With so many athletes being equally good, there are fewer points seperating the winner from the runner-ups. Of course, one could argue that this actually makes it more interesting to watch, since pointing out a potential winner beforehand gets more and more challenging.

    I'm guessing that several athletes are still not in their "prime", and view this as some sort of final exercise-regiment before WSM, not pushing themselves to the limit, to prevent potential injuries. So I wouldn't be surprised if the placings had been different if this was the actual WSM competition.

    • @unclemoneymoneyuncle8702
      @unclemoneymoneyuncle8702 Год назад

      Exactly, I know Novikov recently has had an issue with his lat from watching his training for WSM, so knowing that WSM is this month... I doubt he'd be willing to injure himself by pushing too far if things were questionable. Will be interesting to hear if they reflect on such post competition.
