    Nice truck. Missing a very important $55 option though.
    Also that blue interior is awesome. They need to make that more available. Need to make a red version too. All through the 90s they had red, blue, grey and tan.

    I have a 2024 3500 lt with the 6.6 gas it really works good. I have been gross out over 25000lbs a few times pulls really good. I am happy with it.

      I’m highly considering going with gas my next welding truck, how’s the fuel mileage and the power? I’ve had an older Chev 2500 with the 6.0 and although that truck was very reliable the power and gas mileage wasn’t there.

      @@justinm9815 has good power fuel mileage is around 14-15 I have a crew cab long bed 4wd. I have gooseneck I pull with it a hand full of times a year. Most of the time when I pull it I am between 25000 and 26000lbs gross. I live in Pennsylvania in the mountains and it does well. I have had all dodge diesels before this. This is my first gas truck. I did it to avoid the emissions junk and the higher cost to buy a diesel. Some people need diesels but a good 80% of people that own a diesel never use them. If u live in high elevation I would go diesel just because a na motor looses power.

    I have 10,000 mi on a 24 2500 HD Silverado. I see the complaints on the seats. I never understood that, must be a personal thing. No issue with truck so far. I average 15 to 16 on the highway. Going about 72, 12 to 13 around town. Haven't towed heavy yet. Love my truck!

    I bought a 2024 3500 LT Duramax for $73k. The lower price allowed for upgraded wheels and 4 inch lift. This is a better bang for your buck vs buying a high trim gasser at a higher price. My factory payload was over 4k lbs.

      @@christopherwilson7698 I am a dealer tech in the business for 30 years now , 27 years working at gm dealership and 25 years only doing transmission work. Mostly valve body problems. No reverse issues, had several with triple clutch housing issues. Had a couple with torque converter problems. Almost everyone leaks from the front cover. Also had several with wiring issues on the body side of the truck. Not to mention the engine problems the engine and diesel guys are seeing. 6.6L duramax eating camshafts and lifters . Lifter issues with the 6.6 gas also. Not to mention the usual injection pump issues, that’s not a gm problem but a industry problem due to poor fuel.

    • @SliderFury1
      @SliderFury1 27 дней назад +1

      100%. Immediately uncomfortable and gets worse as you drive. Lots of cheap materials in the Chevy interior on everything below the high country. GMC SLT and up is better but the seats are still terrible, except for the Denali Ultimate, but that's a $100k truck and you have to take diesel. I'd take a lower trim Ram over a higher trim Chevy or GMC any day and for me, Ford beats them both, especially on seat comfort.

    • @dana.6695
      @dana.6695 26 дней назад +1

      I had a 2013 tahoe and those seats sucked. They were way more comfortable than the new ones. I miss the seats in my dad's 83' Buick lesabre.Back in those days they built some comfortable seats!!But all seats in vehicles have gotten firmer over the years.

    • @liquidrockaquatics3900
      @liquidrockaquatics3900 25 дней назад

      So replace the seats. It’s a truck, not a sports car. Get something that will bolt up and work. A Denali seat might fit in a 2500. It might not, but if everyone is complaining, someone got smart and made a solution and is getting rich somewhere.. or should be

    • @dana.6695
      @dana.6695 24 дня назад

      @liquidrockaquatics3900 I'll just stick with my ford that has comfortable seats. I'm not keen on spending a boatload of money on a truck and having to replace the seats.

    • @SliderFury1
      @SliderFury1 27 дней назад

      Test drove a couple of 6.6 gas trucks. Anemic. It'll pull fine but it's a boring engine in an equally boring truck (if you're talking Chevy). GMC is a bit better at SLT and up but the seats in either are horrible. Ford 7.3 feels overbuilt and is a pleasure to drive.
