I have been carrying the burnt titanium wallet for 3 years with no issues. I can probably go another 3 years easy without issues as well. Very well made product. All of the straps are in good shape and the money clip is still in great condition. Extremely happy with the purchase.
Bought one about a month ago. Forged Carbon. Love it! To answer your question, I have the cash strap and think it's safer than the cash clip. Rubber studs under the strap keep the cash in place, no exceptions. Easy to use after a short while once you get used to it. Cavity tray great for carrying coins/key. Great warranty/RFID plates and pretty much bomb proof. No brainer. Little tip Daver....start using your front pocket! Elastic will last way longer. Fragrance review next please 😉👍
I've had mines for three years now and still love it. I did replace the strap money holder for the clip because the bills kept sliding around. The metal is smooth and I don't believe it'll mess up your pants pocket and scratch your phone. It would be very awkward bulge with the wallet and phone in the same pocket! After prolonged use with multiple cards the elastic strap does need to be replaced but it doesn't stretch that much. The big benefit is that it's a RFID wallet. I bought another wallet with a different design when it went on sale. Overall it's an excellent wallet and forces you to which card to carry.
I love mine. For me it’s the perfect wallet. Haven’t had any issues with the elastic. It’s tough as nails. All parts are replaceable. Small. Light. I often forget I even have it on me. Different options. I’ve had leather wallets fail/pockets and linings rip - you won’t get that with this. It’s secure. Access is easy once you get your technique down. What’s not to like? :)
Instead of fanning through the cards, try evenly pushing the cards up a bit and pinching the bottom, making all the cards spread out and become accessible. The wallet is also advertised as a front pocket wallet, so it’s normal to have issues if you are sitting on it.
I've had it for about 7 years, it's incredibly durable and convenient but I stopped using it because it destroys the embossed writing on cards leaving them illegible.

I’ve had my Ridge wallet for around 8+ years and love it. Nothing comes close. I have the cash strap version and it holds cash, receipts and/or cards with no issues whatsoever. A plastic version would just not work IMO, too weak etc. Yes an ID window would be nice but how many times do you get asked for ID and are allowed to just show it from your wallet? Like never?!

Good review. Now I haven't bought one yet. I was looking at it as a gift but after watching a gazillion reviews I still haven't figured out why it's price point is so extremely high. Your definition is too broad for what this video is. By your definition, anything is advertising. The intent dictates the medium. The whole video talks about good and bad points of the wallet, and is not a commercial repeating their selling points. If you don't like the wallet, no worries! If you think it's overpriced, great! Don't by it. I don't know why you would waste your time watching a video on a wallet you don't like when you've been happy with the one you've had for four years. Why would you need validation of your opinion in order to like something? I don't show the like/dislikes because it says nothing to the viewer they can't decide for themselves. And it does nothing for the content creator who makes the video.
@@BeastMadeReviews I don't need validation, it's a matter of transparency and honest. People who hide their subscriber count get blacklisted, too. People who hide their patron count get black listed. Additionally, getting a feel for where the rest of the world sits on a particular topic is valuable to me, even if I completely disagree. I'm not the type to be swayed by others opinions over my own. I research things to get max angles on them and then analyse what has been said, hidden and disclosed motivations, and how that colours what has been said/shown, and then draw my own conclusions. I do that for any topic/product I'm interested in, either passingly, or for purchase, or for DIY cloning (this case). I typically watch 3-10 or more vids on a topic and read various reviews and articles and forum posts and social media outbursts online before making such a call myself. From Google, Silly:
"Earned advertising is the additional exposure that companies receive in the media without having to pay for it." Nothing personal, but the wallet is overpriced.
Clearly you are not the right person for this video.

Show your likes/dislikes, man. No way would I ever click either unless it's visible.
But hiding likes/dislikes hints at fear of acceptance or fear of exposure, it's typically found on controversial videos where online mob attack would occur without blocking comments/likes/dislikes. I thought your video was pretty good, thorough and enjoyable to watch, but you totally killed any chance of real on-topic engagement with me by hiding that. I won't like the video while it remains private. This doesn't matter to you, but I may not be the only one who feels this way. Keep that in mind and do as you please :-)
@@BeastMadeReviews Also, don't make assumptions about other people's motivations for certain behaviours. In this case you were totally and utterly wrong and although I didn't, it would be possible for someone to take offence to that, justifiably, too. Another 2c.
@@fredio54 As far as engagement, my videos do great regardless of the like/dislike bar. I've tested it numerous times. It makes no difference.
As far as honesty, that is your assumption, and since I don't know who you are, it makes no difference to me how you feel about it.
If you feel one way or another about it, you are free to do so on your own channel. I think I will do what I want.
Also metal is not aluminum 🤷🏽♂️
Huh?
Yeah that was stupid of me it’s a non ferrous metal … but still a metal.
This review was cringe 😬 worthy. His mom gave him the wallet as a gift and he was disappointed?
I didn’t express my disappointment to her in front of her face. 🤣
Anyone who says the ridge is not worth it, are the ones who a broke lol
Or the ones who dont know that you can buy this wallet for 6$ from aliexpress. They also get them from china for even cheaper and sell them to you guys for 20 times more 😅
So a ridge wallet means you made it?! 🤣🤡
