While Living the Information era, surprisingly to some an alternator swap/upgrade is as complicated as putting in a stroker kit, really tuff to deal with em as you need to educate them in the first place
Wow sounds like a bad situation with an angry customer those are always hard times. I as a mechanic/technician myself I fully understand only wanting stock parts but being aware and educated is the key. Hoe this video helped vent frustrations and help future customers to understand what is needed.
Thank you, we just try to be as upfront and honest as possible. We WANT you to receive a product that at LEAST meets your expectations but hopefully exceeds them. Sometimes you run the risk of insulting the customers' ability and they STILL get mad at you for trying to help/confirm/resolve a problem. We're not some garage junkyard builders. We're a legitimate business that wants to uphold our warranties, policies and quality standards. We care if the customer is not 100% satisfied with their purchase. We can't just "not answer the phone/email" like the others do. They've already taken your money and don't care what you do with the purchased item. :(
