@YoshiEben, I'm pretty sure it always had EU servers, but asian servers would definitely be beneficial as I'm pretty sure the majority of platform fighter playerbase are from Asian countries

I never really knew the game died and was shut down I logged on one time and was like where online why is everyone unlocked for me and then I got sad Cuase I really loved it and it was the first game that’s like smash that I was actually good at and I really love that this game is coming back and I never expected to see Jason or the guy from matrix’s in this game I knew joker would come eventually and I also knew they were gonna add a joker who laughs skin it makes since
Im just excited cause Multiversus could fufill that Smash Bros fix that I been craving (better online, events, etc). I don't mind any of the combat changes!
My only concern for MVS (when playing the Beta) was the way they treated characters, characters imo should be treated similar to Smash (with hype and grandiose) instead of a "pipeline"! So I'm glad to see they are putting abit more of that care into their character reveals!
Now I just have a nitpick and I think their UI is uglier compared to the Beta version, the Beta UI had more flare to it and why switch from the cool art portraits to the goofy looking 3D portraits?!

When the new Nintendo console drops so will the next smash game. It’s their way of competing with GTA 6 as well as promoting the Nintendo areas in the Universal theme parks and likely a Mario movie sequel. I really don’t think Nintendo has any worries about multiversus as a serious competitor in the gaming space or entertainment in general.

Yeah, now when you do the same attack a few times in row it will keep doing less and less damage I think

I loved MultiVersus and except the floatiness and the netcode the only major turnoff was the Charakter theme... some are fine but others just feel odd...
I wish they expand the character theme outside of american cartoons and go for games or anime even since its coming out in sea... i feel like that is going to attract even more people that it already does... obviously licencing is a barrier but yeahh.. WB gots the money.
Luckily for it releasing late on pc, I have to go to school that day anyway so it’s not really that much of a wait (at least in my eyes)

It's extremely unlikely the game matches the numbers it did before, but it COULD be a better game and that makes me happy. It will have the initial numbers because of paid streamers and streamers trying to get the views from the "hype" and stuff like that, but nah, ain't no way it is anywhere near where it was before.
Just look at Dead by Daylight in Japan! Love the differences in how people play there

Yes I have the hard mode best builds about 75 percent done. Going to be real tho I might not be able to get it out until next week. Move in day is June 1st and we have a lot of stuff to do this week on top of the MVS content. But don't worry I got a rebirth month planned for the after we move in

They were responding to player feedback. Aparently, people had a hard time following the action, plus they wanted to see their characters more clearly.

Hey man catering to the general casuals is a good thing to retain player base. Improved visuals are great. Now you can see which limb hitbox got hit. In 2v2 the camera won't be this zoomed

I understand what you’re saying, but you can’t deny that comparatively immensely slower than the original release. I’m incredibly excited about this game but the speed is the only thing worrying me. As an avid smash player that game even has decent speed that can slow down depending on the situation so I don’t see the need to slow the game down

For a f2p fighting game that we want to continue to bring on dope characters. They need more financial gain to sustain that and more. So I strongly believe with it's f2p nature, battle pass etc and more inclusion will help it dramatically. Yes we've seen ps exclusives reach more than 12 million. But none of them were a fighting game that did 20 million in 1 month. Not even zelda totk did 20M in 1 month

They removed the ability of modding and I don't think they'll add it back even if they wanted to

I dont think this game is going to be massive than people will think since they to fix a few things to be massive.
1. They need to add the up and down c stick controls to jump and duck on all platforms.
2. They also need to add the feature on either 1v1v1v1 or 2v2 to do many K.Os before time runs out to win.
3. They should add a 1v3 or a 1v2 as a new option with the same rules INCLUDING the one i mention on #2 of my list.
And also how come i dont see any unique dialogue interactions with the new characters?
I could be wrong, but I believe they did show a 1v2 match,
And I think unique dialogue between the old characters and new characters probably get missed out as they need to get the actors back, which some are easier than others (mainly the lesser known ones)

There is 1v2 and the characters do have unique dialogue to each other. Even the stage hazard with mojojojo speaks to individual characters.

Probably won't tbh, believe they would need to spend alot of development time for it to be compatible on phones and while it is possible it could run on a phone I think balancing and whatever issues may prevent this unless mobile its just own separate version that's completely different to all the other ones (like how injustice 2 was)

This game could hit 20Mill again everything seems to be going in the right direction SO FAR. Also if y’all didn’t know MVS is also blowing up on TikTok again before it even launches. And each video I’ve seen had well over 100k likes and more than 500k views. So that can also bring a lot of players in too.

PFG had 15 people on their team apparently at the start of release lol. They've expanded and things are hopefully gonna be easier for them now

Launching in Japan probably makes anime characters a lot more likely as well. I'm sure players there would be more likely to try if Jotaro or Mob are added to the game.

Actually it WAS available for Asia for about a month but then WB or PFG disabled servers for asia.I am in fact from the SEA region ,got beta access and played the game which was fun but felt very sad when they decided to do the disabling.

why do people keep talking about the open beta as the official release of the game. OPEN BETA guys, the official release is May 28th 2024. The open beta was so they can learn how to run the online service and what players favor of the gameplay. Which is why it felt unfinished at times, cause it was!

I've been a massive MultiVersus fan since the initial leak, and I play the game on Steam, but it is so inconvenient that I can't play it on the console I actually own or take it on the go. I hope MVS finds a way to release on Switch bc I don't want to have to buy an entirely new console just to play the way I'm comfortable with.
