July 5th, Green Valley Book Fair, and Buc-ee’s To Be

- On today’s adventure of Meatball and Youdaddy, we head to the Green Valley Book Fair to check out their back to school sale, then stop by for a construction update at the site of the new Bucee’s. We end the day watching fireworks from our backyard. As always thanks for coming along, we really appreciate it!

Turn signals aren’t optional equipment; just like the AM radio now in FM on the 86 Dodge Aries, they are standard.
Hah. I know that right. If I’m going somewhere new, I always look at the map before I go. I mean google and apple are pretty right on, but I always read through my directions before I leave. I always use turn signals too. And windshield wipers.
That’s a pretty good deal on that GoT book. Watching the new series? See any other GoT books?
Yeah, I love it. I haven’t read Fire and Blood, but that book I picked up is like a cliffs notes with pictures. It’s alright. I really just want the last two of Ice and Fire already, but I get it. George is a busy guy, and with the lackluster response to the end of the TV series, writing the end of his book series has gotta be tough.
I didn’t see any other GoT books this time, but I got most of the song of ice and fire books here. They did have a bunch of HG Wells books and Stephen King’s Billy Summers, and I thought about picking those up.
What else is Harper reading?
I want to tell you everything, but I can’t. She really likes those #jccervantes books. I am still trying to convince her to read LotR, but she thinks they are boring. She might be too young for the George RR Martin books, but I think she’d like them. I’ve started reading the High Republic series; she might like that, but who knows. She’s in a weird spot; she might not be ready for “adult books” but YA might be a little too Y for her? She’s also not really into “the classics,” so…
