A second Left 4 Dead chapter has a lot of potential. I think it deserves to be moved up into qualified. BHVR has a good enough relationship with Valve to still occasionally drop stuff for Bill as well, so I'd argue it should be moved up for also being amongst the more likely ones to happen.
The problem is, they can't monetize it. Valve wants their characters to be free for all players. Unless BHVR wants to feel generous by handing out another free killer after 8 years, then idk.

I think that Phantasm would be visually fantastic to play in DBD. The Tall Man is creepy as hell and he could release silver balls that act like Victor does, only that they could actually hurt a character! Plus, the little creepy corpse-people could be running around in the background, and the new map of an excavated graveyard and crematorium would be AMAZING.

So it is not something they want to be in DBD. Keep in mind at the same time he was also saying that a clown killer would never be in DBD and no one would think it to be scary or want it in DBD anyways. ( This was basically right before or a while before we got the clown killer. ) So it could have easily been something akin to him trying to throw people off but its just the way he said it and his attitude made me think otherwise when it comes to Phantasm. We need Homelander on this tournament! I have always stood on the side that Homelander should be in Dead By Daylight, and what better way to see how many people agree than having him in this tourney!
i personally dont think Homelander would fit. I LOVE the boys show but i could only realistically see some survivors such as butcher but even that feels strange though viable.
All im saying is if "The Boys" was ever added Butcher as survivor would be amazing imagine stunning a killer and he yells "THAT WAS F'KIN DIABOLICAL" 😂 also idk how it would work but SMILE would be amazing, defo one of my favourite modern horror licenses, can see it as a cosmetic collection instead of a chapter though

Coming back to this comment section. After the recent October Cosmetic Collection announcements, it seems the things Poison was saying is false. No Sable Vampire Skin, no Unknown skin, and no Vecna Blighted Skin. We can debunk this fool.
I personally want The Shining over Friday the 13th, as there may be another full on Jason game coming out, or even an official revival of Friday the 13th the game. Jason Universe has been very coy, but I'm sure they're cooking up something good and larger scope than just some character in Dead by Daylight. Jack Torrence is an iconic horror character, and would be the third character we'd have that has an axe, but would be the only one that primarily only uses the axe to cut people down. Unknown sort of just slaps people with it, and Huntress uses hatchets. The potential of hearing "HEEEEEERE'S JOHNNY!" when cutting down a breakable wall is so awesome. As for Terminator, I just don't feel like it "Fits" in Dead by Daylight purely because it's a bit _too_ advanced and would use actual firearms or even laser weapons. Ghostbusters can get skins, but I don't want to play as any of the Ghosts as a killer, and basically all the original actors are dead-- and we ARE NOT doing a reboot version. As fun as it might be to chase after the Mystery Gang, slaughtering them in the most violent ways possible doesn't mesh well with it. I can't imagine Singularity mori on Shaggy. Bioshock is extremely iconic and would be a fun killer overall to play. Pennywise, however, is actually on the same tier as Jason for me. Pennywise was just done too well in the modern movies and they managed to make one of the scariest horror monsters in all of cinema, and for that reason it beats out Bioshock. The other two I don't even... come on, what kind of children are we trying to bait into playing Dead by Daylight with that bullshit? Universal "Monsters" are all great and would make for awesome skins, if not unique characters. They're all a bit "PG" though, so keeping them skins would probably be best. Insidious as a movie series is great. Insidious as a concept for a killer in Dead by Daylight is... less so. I don't even really know what the killer would be. Slenderman is goofy. M3gan would be a good addition, but her popularity is lacking so she'll have to wait. Frank Stone just needs to be a Trapper skin. He's literally trapper. He has a weapon like Trapper. He even wipes off his blade like trapper after a hit. He's just Trapper. Candyman opens up the possibility for some fun concepts with mirrors being placed around the map for him to travel through similar to the teleports on Vecna's map variant, having them link to each other statically and only teleporting between the same two, but have them be instant teleports with no real delay on arrival so if you plan where you want to be you can come out and blitz survivors. Jurassic Park is such a wild concept for DBD that I'm just 100% on board with having a Raptor playable; any time we get non-human characters I'm up for it, they always add so much variety to the game. I don't know what the final one in Group F is. Outlast would be a fantastic addition, all of the psychos fit in with DBD. Not a big TV watcher, so I can't really speak for fleshy Vecna, but from an outside perspective he doesn't seem interesting in the slightest. Nun would be a funny killer more than scary, and sometimes its okay to have those. Teletubbies skins would be hilarious, no matter who gets them. Obnoxious too, like the Ace mad hatter hat. Terrorizer is actually just gore porn. Unless DBD decides to forego it's previous limitations on gore, I can't really see Art meshing well with DBD. Predator would be a cool addition, but I feel like the character itself would have to have just a little 'too much going on' to be balanced and also satisfy fans. Predator would need stealth, ranged tools, tracking tools, AND mobility tools to really fulfil that fantasy, and I think that's a bit much for DBD to do in one character-- there's always Hunting Grounds, it's a great game but has a bit too high of a skill floor. Hannibal, though he's iconic, would not mesh well with DBD. He fills more of a John Kramer role, in that he's a meticulous thinking killer and not a chase after you and kill you with a bladed weapon kind of killer, which is what DBD's whole gameplay loop is. There's a reason when we got the SAW chapter we play as Amanda instead of John. Unless he's got a "follower" to do his bidding like Jigsaw does, then it just wouldn't work out. No clue what the fourth in Group H is.
I'd love to see Sean of the Dead as a Survivour + Map. Have Sean as the survivor and the Winchester as the map, where they could implement more interactive things on the map like they're asking about in the current survey and maybe even some built-in Ai hazards...

Art the clown would be a flop if they didn't give him all of his goofy expressions. He should get a secondary ability just to emote. He could be become one of the most entertaining killers to play and face.
All i honestly want to know is if the fnaf chapter comes with a map too, i want one of the locations from the early games like the fnaf 1 or 3 locations, canonically springtrap was locked in a secret room in the fnaf 1 location for years which could be a cool nod they could do in the chapter with a secret room that only opens when you do something specific like the easter egg on midwich

Beetlejuice is so iconic. It has to be on the Most Hyped Licenses Tourney. Especially since Beetlejuice Beetlejuice just came out too. Beetlejuice as the killer and Lydia and Astrid Deetz as the survivors with legendary skins of Adam and Barbara. Lastly the map could be The Afterlife. It would be a perfect chapter and I'm sure BHVR would make pretty interesting perks too.
I dont think there is any sort of unique power they could create for a Hannibal Killer and you couldn’t even call him „The Cannibal“ because Bubba already has that title so it‘s very weird to add him, also Hannibal is on the survey while The Grudge isnt! So the survey doesen’t necessarily confirm anything unless the leaks are fake?
Carrie white and pearl, I'm glad the next two killers are female (the female bounty hunter and the grudge) we need more female killer icons in the game. 😭
He should be almost done, they been working on him since Jan 2023, it takes about 12-13 months to have a license chapter ready. Then it comes down to who's ahead of them, for example back in 2023 they STARTED on Art and M3gan so that means around Jan-Feb 2024 those 2 should be in line to drop depending on the release order. Jason for example is not being worked on yet, so it would be a year wait then he join the release que. So I wouldn't expect Jason til 2026.
If they want more licenses Please BHVR get the og Ash Willaims in the game. I feel it's the best time due to cod and fortnite getting the young ash. Get Ted Raimi who was just in the Quarry back with Henrietta and give her voice lines. Or just army of Darkness, warrior ash with his castle gear would fit so well with vecna and the vampire killer

Also, he has some traps that have no way to win, like making a guy crawl through barbed wire, and if he have lucky, he survives, or traps where one person has to kill another to survive, which are multiple in this case. I think with all of that, i think they can create a great killer for DBD
Babadook would make for an INCREDIBLE Visceral skin for Dredge. Imagine Nightfall begins, "Ba... ba... dook... dook... DOOK" I would buy the skin immediately. Imagine watching that freak pop out of a locker.
BioShock would be very nice and rapture map would be beautiful, I would still complain though even though I agree with it and very much want it in the game, because that means an inside map.
I'm just saying a Fallout or Doom chapter would really be interesting to see, not many people talk about the potential of those two games and it gives me some hope that Doom will eventually be listed in a possible future survey. Fallout and Doom are really well-known games that deserve to least be featured in Dead by Daylight.

American Werewolf in London is so incredibly loved by werewolf fans, but so underappreciated by everyone else.

Frank Stone just needs to be a Trapper skin. He's literally trapper. He has a weapon like Trapper. He even wipes off his blade like trapper after a hit. He's just Trapper. Candyman opens up the possibility for some fun concepts with mirrors being placed around the map for him to travel through similar to the teleports on Vecna's map variant, having them link to each other statically and only teleporting between the same two, but have them be instant teleports with no real delay on arrival so if you plan where you want to be you can come out and blitz survivors. Jurassic Park is such a wild concept for DBD that I'm just 100% on board with having a Raptor playable; any time we get non-human characters I'm up for it, they always add so much variety to the game. I don't know what the final one in Group F is.
Outlast would be a fantastic addition, all of the psychos fit in with DBD. Not a big TV watcher, so I can't really speak for fleshy Vecna, but from an outside perspective he doesn't seem interesting in the slightest. Nun would be a funny killer more than scary, and sometimes its okay to have those. Teletubbies skins would be hilarious, no matter who gets them. Obnoxious too, like the Ace mad hatter hat.
Terrorizer is actually just gore porn. Unless DBD decides to forego it's previous limitations on gore, I can't really see Art meshing well with DBD. Predator would be a cool addition, but I feel like the character itself would have to have just a little 'too much going on' to be balanced and also satisfy fans. Predator would need stealth, ranged tools, tracking tools, AND mobility tools to really fulfil that fantasy, and I think that's a bit much for DBD to do in one character-- there's always Hunting Grounds, it's a great game but has a bit too high of a skill floor.
Hannibal, though he's iconic, would not mesh well with DBD. He fills more of a John Kramer role, in that he's a meticulous thinking killer and not a chase after you and kill you with a bladed weapon kind of killer, which is what DBD's whole gameplay loop is. There's a reason when we got the SAW chapter we play as Amanda instead of John. Unless he's got a "follower" to do his bidding like Jigsaw does, then it just wouldn't work out. No clue what the fourth in Group H is.

I'd love to see Sean of the Dead as a Survivour + Map. Have Sean as the survivor and the Winchester as the map, where they could implement more interactive things on the map like they're asking about in the current survey and maybe even some built-in Ai hazards...

Beetlejuice is so iconic. It has to be on the Most Hyped Licenses Tourney. Especially since Beetlejuice Beetlejuice just came out too. Beetlejuice as the killer and Lydia and Astrid Deetz as the survivors with legendary skins of Adam and Barbara. Lastly the map could be The Afterlife. It would be a perfect chapter and I'm sure BHVR would make pretty interesting perks too.

He should be almost done, they been working on him since Jan 2023, it takes about 12-13 months to have a license chapter ready. Then it comes down to who's ahead of them, for example back in 2023 they STARTED on Art and M3gan so that means around Jan-Feb 2024 those 2 should be in line to drop depending on the release order. Jason for example is not being worked on yet, so it would be a year wait then he join the release que. So I wouldn't expect Jason til 2026.

If they want more licenses Please BHVR get the og Ash Willaims in the game. I feel it's the best time due to cod and fortnite getting the young ash. Get Ted Raimi who was just in the Quarry back with Henrietta and give her voice lines. Or just army of Darkness, warrior ash with his castle gear would fit so well with vecna and the vampire killer

Also, he has some traps that have no way to win, like making a guy crawl through barbed wire, and if he have lucky, he survives, or traps where one person has to kill another to survive, which are multiple in this case. I think with all of that, i think they can create a great killer for DBD

Fallout and Doom are really well-known games that deserve to least be featured in Dead by Daylight.
