“I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well, maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2016. However, despite not being able to walk for a few weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and try to practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…we are all specks of dust…Also, thank you for all your support. It means a lot. I have suffered from anxiety from the past and self-confidence, (yeah hard to see now right) didn’t think I was ‘good, or worthy enough’ but I feel I have a new lease of life, don’t really care as much and want to show you guys what I have! : ) You are all awesome and without you, there would be no channel.

The real motive of the vid is that people can see that Louis is actually a good singer and his voice is just so unique even though some people still thinking he sucks but tbh his voice is actually my fav. I'm just so tired that people thought he wasn't important in the band or whatever while Niall himself said that without Louis there is no one direction. He was so underrated. I just love him and all the boys so much it hurts 😭 btw love your reaction!

I agree Louis’s voice is so beautiful and different from all the other boys. Louis overall completes One Direction. Without him One Direction wouldn’t be the One Direction we love today. He makes One Direction unquie by his voice and personality. In general all the boys are special and should be given the appreciation they deserve. All of them are equally talented and all of them should be recognized not just one or two but ALL.
Louis has always been my favorite. He’s definitely carried the band. All of the boys were equally amazing but I could always hear Louis even when he didn’t have solos. You always heard Louis carrying the chorus and he’s just the actual sun. Nothing brings him down. I definitely love that about him

louis actually has a pretty wide vocal range just one direction didn’t do him justice. in his grease performance back in 2008 is the only time he’s been able to show off his head voice

What I love about Louis voice is how unique, smooth and light it is. He carries the choruses and gives such a great contrast and 'glue' to the band and on his own. Some people don't like his voice but if you do it truly is magical

Louis was the most unappreciated member of 1D but he is one of who wrote almost all the songs of the group and he has very unique voice.

@wolfie-Ros, I wouldn't say he was unappreciated, in the early stages Louis lacked confidence in his singing ability, not sure if management had anything to do with it, or some of the some of these same fans that were questioning why he was in the band (he couldn't sing, he was ugly, he looked like a rat etc).
No matter how tough you are after a time negative comments are going to get to you and he started with-drawing and unless it was for his solos he doesn't move about stage unless it is a choro change. If you look at the early 2010-2012 tours it is a different Louis to the 2013-2015 one, this is mainly because his confidence in himself had eroded over time.
When he did Just Hold on with Steve, we saw glimpses of the old Louis jumping up and prancing across the stage it seems been on his own he found back his mojo.

Its just that u get rewards based on ur skill which louis didnt show much in 1d if he did these things more often in a song he would have been way more famous. @@maelenia Maria Pyk, you and I may know that but if you were in the fandom in the early days you would see some of the most awful comments about Louis, even now you have persons hating on him because of the perception that he and Harry are together.
There's no denying that all the boys have amazing voices, but for me, Louis' voice is just pure magic. It holds something that attracts me to him. Out of all the boys, his voice is definitely the most unique, interesting one. Like, I can 100% enjoy all of the boys' voices when I'm listening to them, but when Louis' part comes on, I snap into action and listen with my whole body, not just ears. I hope that one day, he'll show us the whole thing. I can just imagine him singing in his shower, slaying it, high notes and low notes and smirking, because we can't hear him. Lil tease ♥

Its like harry takes away all the attention from the boys just bcoz he is good looking and has a charm which zayn doesnt even though zayn is good looking. Liam and louis really deserve a better and liam deserves some fans coz he is the most connected to his fans but still doesnt get get what he deserves

Thank you for reacting to Louis. I think he has such a warm emotive quality to his singing. I would love to hear more “acoustic” sounding pieces from him. Hopefully he does more with his solo album. I love his belts as well and he does use his range masterfully. Thank you
Personally i think he needs to get a new vocal coach who will allow him have fun with his voice and find his element. A lot of singers don't have the vocal range and high range doesn't necessarily mean the best like many would like to believe. Louis' voice is emotive on its own and i agree i prefer his rock and stripped sound. That's just where he shines most. I really love his voice though!

i love his voice so much, cuz its so unique, and distiguishable. i could feel like a hole in the music the part when louis is not singing in the band. and a lot of people says its weak. i dont think is weak, i think is like delicate, but not as a bad adjetive. also as you said, he can do this thing with his voices that makes the melody sound happier. and also love his rock voice.. and while in the band he had this think where he can take the song to a level where u can hear the pain in the song? like in "something great" and "moments" other songs i love his voice is little black dress and alive. i feel like his managmente or dtk who was in charge of the musical sound put more atention on harry and zayn voice . but they all together are like a raibow. so many great tones that made their music so colorful.
and so happy and exited to see what he can do as solo, cuz also i thins he is an AMAZING WRITER! love how ligh and honest and word positive is his writing.

Louis' voice makes me so happy and watch other people listening and paying attention to what he has to offer with his vocals, is the most exciting and terrifying thing. He's someone so important for me, he makes me wanna feel okay again and encourage me to not be afraid of my own voice.

Harry was 16, Liam, Zayn and Niall were 17 (for most of the xfactor at least) and Louis was 18 :) Hope this helps you. Liam did however audition for the xfactor when he was younger
I think everyone sort of thought he wasn't a good singer bc a lot of their music didn't really fit him(?) They mainly gave him parts where he did the whole "talk singing" thing. Up until their latest like 2 albums I feel like that's when he really got to sing, but that's just my opinion.

I don't know how to say it but there's something in his voice that makes it so special. Like it's soft but very strong at the same time. I think while singing live he and Liam are the best. The others are great too but sometimes they sound a bit tired but Louis always sounds fresh even during the high notes...

people that don't understand technique think that Louis is straining his voice and that he is the least able to control his voice. when, as so clearly described by this vocal coach, his voice is the most controlled and impressive, because of the techniques he uses to make the performance just a bit better.
