His voice was always unique, easily recognizable and emotive. Sadly he was affected by the way 1D treated him as a vocalist. It's interesting you mentioned back singers as Louis was more like one in 1D(( And yes, that's a lot of hard work. With this sound he gets more confidence, so we get to experience more of what he got, his full power! So for him it's a good thing that he's channelling Liam G who never gives a f to sound this way. Yes! A backing singer with the showstopper moments. It must have been a weird position for him to be in. His voice is the one I would seek out first, because, though they're all good singers, his emotional tone gets me. I'm hoping she reviews one of the Madrid songs.

Louis is a huge Oasis fan! He’s said some of his songs are influenced by Oasis and The Fray. Also, Louis did musical theater pre-One Direction, so he does have diction training. I think any blurred consonants are just his Doncaster accent lol
