Just.. label the carton if you make coffee creamer and live with someone else. Unexpected flavor in milk is a great way to get the whole thing dumped down the drain. Suspicious milk is a ticket to the toilet.
"Doo doo dilute da doo Doo" *SMACK* "Done!" 😂🤣😂🤣
This was the very first thing we made in cooking class at school, all the way back in 1995. Imagine giving 30 eleven-year olds access to melted chocolate, powdered sugar and peppermint oil...
I had to be hosed down by my mum in the back garden before she let me in the house afterwards.
oh this is precious
Sounds like it was a success so...
Awww that sounds adorable
Were they delicious at least? Lol
We did that in school too! The same year in fact! Although mum didn't hose me down outside, too damn cold in September where we live, unless we're having an amazing Indian summer lol
This man radiates friendliness, like i just wanna take him out for a beer and some karaoke or something and then wake up on my couch hungover and confused
Good to see Dylan not torturing himself with these recipes now.
Give it time...
this guy reminds me a lot of Martin Short
Made our 1st batch yesterday! So delighted we immediately made our 2nd batch. Decadent, rich, over the top as Christmas treats should be. My BFF gifted your cookbook to our family after howling over your vids. My hubs mama was a high school home ec teacher from the late 60's-late 90's and your videos bring
back precious memories for him. He vividly remembers those cookbooks being written over the years.
"How are these so perfect?"
Because you made them my dude 😊
I love the “you can do that”. He truly is a force of good in this world. Stay shining my bright star.
I love this guy, I can see what college has done to him. He's a chaotic, lovable man who's lost his marbles. Perfect for the new world order of something probably relevant.
@Cyber Dalek Perfect comment! I hope more people see it and give you thumbs-ups.
Key word..."probably".
😋
Oh he’s so on point with each whoop and pun and handsome and clever! He’s about to take over
_Screams at Peppermint_
"Take that Big Peppermint!" 😆🤣
“GET OFF OF THE SPOON” the most relatable baking sentence ever🤣
You have saved me a holiday recipe I want to make for my senior neighbors who Ive purchased bags of these for one in particular, + her husband, during Covid 19 bc Meals on Wheels did not deliver on weekends, and during a snowstorm, so I'd grab them staple groceries bread, eggs, milk,cheese,coffee/teas,cup of soups, some snacks, crackers + goodies, large letter crosswords, and I'd cook large meals, enough for several senior families on my street, and those goodies were hard candies, soft caramels, and they love peppermint patties!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing these recipes!!🤗
👏👏🙏💕🌎♨️💫🌟✨
This man’s joy is infectious 😊
The way he yelled "get off of the spoon!" Made me smile
I love his energy!
why i can imagine him in as a sergeant shouting "Fire!"
I was a career firefighter and I keep imagining him on the job. The radio traffic would have been hilarious.
"How are these so perfect" made me laugh. The voice was so cute!
This is a tip to keep wax or parchment paper from moving around when rolling out things on the table or counter top. Simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth or paper towel. The slightly moist surface helps secure the paper.
This guys reactions are over the top but unlike everyone else it's actually FUNNY
I think it's really weird and uncomfortable
@@jaredf6205 That sounds like a you problem
I respectfully disagree.
@@valenxizaw245 it absolutly is a Jared Problem 😩 I dont understand people, like, if you dont like something then dont watch! (Unless that something can bring yourself or anyone else harm obviously).
No
The "you can do that" combined with the eye contact felt so personal, you're more encouraging than both of my parents
"You can do that" i felt that part. He really should teach.
Dylan's a sweet heart.
I legit would have paid so much money for him to have been my pastry arts professor in college. That commentary is legendary 🙌 👌 👏
"I'm just scared easily but machinery" me too lol unironically the sewing machine spooks me but I want to make my own clothes
So make them by hand! Honestly, sometimes it's easier that way, it just takes a bit longer.
I was scared of the sewing machine for years. Then I watched a bunch of RUclips videos and sat down and just played with one. It is possible to over come this fear!
Just get a sewing with a foot pedal. It's much less scary when you can make it go slowly and easily stop it.
“ChRiStMaS tImE mEaNs SuGaR tImE” that quote is my grandma in November
Hi Dylan, back in somewhere around 1977, in Home Ec class I learned that make after dinner mints with just powdered sugar and mint extract! It was so cool and no bake. I haven’t made them in forever but I did make them a few times for the family!!! Thank you for bringing that memory back!!!
You are so sweet, I love to watch your reactions to things you make!!!
♥️♥️♥️😊
The depressing jokes, the sound effects, the fire. . . I think I just found my new favorite channel
you should see him on TikTok!
This guy literally springs life into my soul lmao, he’s so funny and energetic I love it!
When he said,”You can do that!” I laughed at how much confidence he had in that
"GET OFF THE SPOON" loved that part
I am addicted to your channel. You are a gem, young man! Keep being you.
I laugh, I learn, and I mostly appreciate you testing these dishes out (especially the terrible ones) for us.
Thanks to Dylan, we have made this treat many times now. They are delicious!
You know it’s a good day when Dylan uploads a new vintage recipe video
Funny how you don't even realize most of the recipe because you're so entertained by the whole things that it's over before you know it lol I find myself watching his videos over and over again just because it's that entertaining and I love his style💖
A hack for getting sticky stuff off your spoon when baking or cooking. Keep a cup of hot or boiled water to dip your spoon in before scooping your sticky butter, fat or shortening. The heat on the spoon will keep the sticky stuff from sticking so much. Hope it helps someone!
I need this to keep going on. these videos give me life. its so great. even the longer winded ones are amazing. keep being amazing
That "get off the spoon" is an accurate description of my love life. 💓
I love how much you enjoyed that patty. Good times.
This is the perfect example of why I love your work. Nothing is original it's just well marketed.
Dylan: Hello, Dolly!
My theatre ass: 😍✨❤️😍✨❤️🎶
You have a wonderful talent! This is entertainment at its finest AND we get to learn something new in the process. Thank you!
I sent this to a good friend that loves peppermint patties, and now makes them on a regular basis. THANK YOU.
Theses are some of the greatest recipes from times that ppl didn't use boxed goods. Keep them coming Dylan!!
This man's sheer confidence has convinced me to make these😂 wish me luck lmao
Edit: I made them for my family tonight for Christmas and by God are they good😂 it's definitely being added to the list of stuff I make for the holidays. 11/10 highly recommend lmao
Also, Merry Christmas everyone. Enjoy the holidays 🎄
so just to confirm, this video has all the parts of the recipe that I would need in order to be successful???
If so, I'm super excited! My dad loves peppermint patties!
@@confusedSoulof2010 sorry I never saw your comment but yea everything you need to know is in the video. It's a super simple process tbh. Also, your dad will love them they're amazing lol.
Sorry again tho I just stumbled on this video again lol.
He’s so wholesome sometimes 😂😂😂💖
I make this every Christmas but with peppermint oil instead of extract and coconut oil instead of shortening.
How is Dylan so perfect?! Also peppermint patties are one of my favorite candies!!!! Tempted to try these!
Do it, full send
always gotta yell "FIRE" along with dylan, gathering some weird looks from whoever's around me at the time.
My mother made the best peppermint patties when I was growing up. I miss them
do you have a recipe?
There Are So Many Flavors I Could Make With This
You, sir, are a delight.
