- The latest Escape From Tarkov ARG event has wrapped up, but the in game tasks are still open for players to complete, but only for a limited time.
BSG has put a deadline of May 26th to complete all of the tasks required to complete Redemption and receive your Kerman Hologram Trophy for your hideout.
The good news is that unlike previous events, this one doesn't require playing Tarkov Like a Full time job. All in it's probably about 16 hours to complete ALL of the tasks, and if you've been working on it from the start your probably already half way done.

The tip to get the phone on the quest before it's actually a requirement is EPIC. I had the occasion to get it this way and stash it, going for the rest of the quest with a big weight lifted from my shoulders. THANK YOU.

When looking for the unheard phone on customs, make sure you bring a scoped weapon! the sniper scav wayyy up top will be shootin at yeh
this guide was a life saver
First raid during this event I found 4 ssd’s and threw em away thinking I needed cpu fans for some reason, since then I’ve done 400 raids all searching the same places as my first raid and haven’t found a single ssd, not sure if it’s Nikita fucking me over or what but this is pure suffering
I really enjoyed doing the tasked had some great pvp and some intense raids.

I liked the event. It was a bit of a grind to get the flashdrives but i loved it. It wasnt extremely hard to do and it didn't require a ton of kills to progress like previous events. It was good for bad players like me.
What level are you?
finished all 13 or so challenges in one night and gained 4 levels, very worth it
"Fetch that", "Plant this", "kill scavs"... I see BSG are becoming extremely innovative with their quest design. Amazing stuff and very enjoyable and immersive
What the hell are they supposed to do? It added little factions and had crafting it was really fun had new stuff
@@sweetkoorn use some imagination? Make it a bit more dynamic? For example get some item from an npc that is roaming the map. Once you get it a wave of rogues spawn and try to hunt you down. Or for a plant quest, make it so that after you plant an item you need to defend the area from waves of scavs for 5 minutes.
Basically make the game world REACT to you doing a quest

I wonder if it is possible to get 2 achievements and 2 heads. What would happen if you would reset your account? Would your achi say and what with this head will you get it in mail after reset? so many questions. I still have no clue if achievements are persistent even, they should be otherwise those new ones dont make any sense. And what with master ultra for example, if i have 50/100 i will have that next wipe or I lose progress if i would not finish it this wipe

Ha, the amount of times I accidentally kicked that door open and never noticed the chair on the ceiling... I'll be looking up at it next time I kick that door down.
Yeah after finding my last encrypted flash drive and then figuring out I wasn't even half way done with this is a big nope. All for a cat decoration is crazy.
The second half is way faster. You can do it in a hand full of raids. they're all incredibly easy quests.

If im starting on fresh account (havent played this wipe) how long would it take to just spearhead this quest line alone
For the killing of skier or peacekeeper people they only seem to spawn at 1 location per raid. Took me 3 or 4 raids on customs to find the spot they spawned at that raid
In the radio reapeater quest, do you have to survive and extract the raid after you’ve placed the reapeaters? Or Can you die and it stille progress the quest?
You have to survive eventually. It doesn't restart if you die, but a survived raid is one of the requirements
Dear god, i just completed this qurst line a day ago. I didnt know how close i was cutting it.
I actually miss the no-trader , find in raid only items weekend.
Caring about gear is lost the more deprived you become at the game.

Earned mine last night on my PvE PMC. I don't have the patience to do it on my PvP PMC.
But this was a fun one.
That brings up a good question what if EOD owners that don't have access to PVE are we just screwed?

@@lelans2011 Gotcha, I wouldn't worry too much about level. As I do not believe any of the quests are locked behind a level cap.
There are only a handful of quests that require to leave the raid alive. Which I believe is mentioned in this video.
Most of the tasks are fully completed without needing to leave raid alive. So less stress there imo.
You may get stuck on those ones you need to leave raid alive. My tip. Do a night raid and go for the item needed closer to the end of a raid.
Hopefully you run into less PMCs due to both factors.
I highly recommend doing this. Cool rewards, a HUGE Amount of Exp. for relatively easy tasks, and of course the achievement!

Of all the things BSG has done wrong, if they try to tell us that the hologram is the only hideout cat we get, I will stop playing 100%.
This game does not need another living thing im responsible for keeping alive.

If I've never done light keeper yet but almost at the part in this where you do the light keeper part will that make issues? I've never been to the light house so I'm curious if I'll get safe passage for this mission
Let me know if you can complete it because I have not unlocked lightkeeper yet and I imagine the claymores will blow me up when I try and get to him,>lvl27. thanks
You have to have Lightkeeper unlocked to do the extra part

I watched the rewards section of the video, but i thought BSG said you would get a permanent reward that doesn't go away with wipe. Is that the cat thing?

I really wish this event lasted another week. I am so close to unlocking lightkeeper and I don't want the other achievements from skier or peackeeper... unless they all give the same achievement.
5:12 you do know that theres another way to get down from that mountain right? It only requires a couple of levels of strengh and doesnt break your legs

You would do it through the other trader and not lightkeeper. You will get shot trying to go lightkeeper if you dont have the access already
man finding peacekeepers people was so annoying took about 3 hours to find them

I been pushing since thw event and i can't find a single SSD for the quest . Where the hell are you guys finding them to take 16 hr to finish the chain quest. I been farm Reserve and customs and nothing. Also doing night runs too

Hey your suggestion to leave the phone in the stash. Don’t do that I did and had the same buggy not getting the quest.
Only got it by bringing the item with me to LK and gave it to him right after accepting the quest.
What about the whole sell 5 weapons to skier thing?
@@Airwingmarine did it after handing the item in. Started the quest and the next option was hand item in. Go to stash sell guns then back to raid to complete quest.
So you had to go back out to him anyways?
@@Airwingmarine yes but the issue was that I couldn’t accept the quest from LK while the item was in my stash. Only when I brought it to him did I have the option to start the quest.

Me and my duo have looted every PC in interchange for like 10 raids, well over 120 PC's looted, and have barely found any CPU's. We just quitting this quest lol our luck is not it 😂

The advice you give about getting the phone, set it in stash then go get the quest , sell the gun and go back with the phone is wrong. If you have the phone beforehand the phone disappear from your stash once you accept ding ding ding.

sad, so there is no way for PVE players to get that lightkeeper reward, as the mode is simple to new for people to have reached that quest point. I mean with the queuetimes you maybe get 7-8 raids a day, and thats with 10 hour sessions...

Lightkeeper is an alternative reward. The regular quest finishes with Fence

The Peacekeeper vs Skier quest never showed up for me.
It was an option to turn the decrypted drive into PK. Unless you went looking for it, you wouldn't of seen it.

Not directly no. The only thing you need to have is intel center level 1 to do some of the crafts.

Low key, easiest event task line. Unlike terra group trail 80% of casuals can get this done. Also the exp alone is nuts. I started at like lvl 27 and im on attonment as lvl 33. Kimda insane leap

Why is it only level 40+?
??? What ??? Literally, my level 24 friend did the event, and it leveled him up to like level 29 or 30. This event has some of the easiest event tasks they've done so far. It's 10 normal ass tasks that at most take a 3 or 4 runs to do. The only part any of my friends struggled with was finding the PC parts, and that was just time-consuming.
Anyone wondering, peacekeeper route is much easier.

An event with later "optional task paths" for an achievement that are locked behind something like Lightkeeper access is honestly trash.. The Amulet should have let people get out there to.. I'm a completionest gamer, so IMO I'm only going to "95%" this fucking event... So dumb! I just don't have the time to commit to getting Kappa, or making it out to Lightkeeper. Hell, I've never gotten to lightkeeper between wipes, so stuff like this will never be obtainable for folks like me.
Quest chains like this are a good reason to continue playing arena blackout. Unfortunately I no longer have the time BSG requires for tasks.
This is another example of a quest line that proves BSG has no respect for the time of people with a day job and a life. A week to do a minimum of 12 hours of questing for an event is ridiculous. Especially when the PvP portions rely on people showing up at locations and it's so late in the wipe that all the no lifers have all the time in the world to camp the very specific quest locations.
I like this game. But BSG is tone deaf and clearly doesn't give two shits about the community unless there is literal outrage. I'm not angry, I'm disappointed.
Cry more it's an optional event for a collectible item. Go outside or stop playing and fuck off

I've been playing Helldivers 2, i'm just waiting for the release on PVE as an EOD owner.
Nikita can find someone else to spend the next wipe for six months playing this bug/cheat infested game.
i really tried to do the event and got as far as photo hunt (not completed), but i don't think I will be able to finish. There are too many rats and campers. I only got this far because I had several days off work. But I have to work again and won't have time to finish this. I think it would be more fun if I just rat other players instead.

Seems like a waste of time to do all of this. If BSG made load into raid times way faster it would be one thing. But someone who has maybe 3 hours a week to play now vs those who have several more hours a week. Even though you say roughly 2- 8 hr streams for you it is doable but for most. Just sucks the game has been out this long and I still have to wait anywhere between 5 to 10 minutes for the raid counter timer.
Because that 5 to 10 min plus navigating the maps as a solo player and dealing with cheaters. The tasks bsg do I get for all those who want a long unlock line but for casual players it's not worth doing these events

No, they are separate. I did it on pve first and then on pvp. If you want it on both, you'll need to do it twice. It's super easy on pve though, with no one around to fuck with you it won't take very long.

Pretty lame event to be honest. It feels like I spent 90% of it looting filing cabinets and computers, lol.
I actually really enjoyed it. It had a quest line, and the tasks are easy enough that my skill issued friends could do it with me.
