OJ's statement about their problem being that he loved her to much reminded me of the way abusive exes talk about their relationships... It made me very convinced he did it.
That’s what I was thinking.
That’s the way my father talks about my Mom and my former stepmom. He was emotionally abusive to both, and physically abusive to me and my brother until we were old enough to defend ourselves, so yeah I agree here.
We know OJ was abusive to her, he was literally convicted of that.
Yeah that’s what abusive people always say. Abusive people don’t know what love is.

he didnt do it he got the charges dropped yall latch onto anything the gloves didnt fit
Once he said “who killed her” that’s a red flag
He never said that.
He didn’t say “how did it happen” he was just like “who do u suspect other than me”
Everything about this case is a red flag
He didn't kill her, his son did.

OJ: what do you mean she's been killed?
Detective: We dont know
OJ then freaked out and become inconsolable.
"IF we had a problem it's because I loved her so much." Yeah, he repeatedly beat her because he loved her so much. Great guy.
I took AP English literature and the one thing I remember was in the play oedipus, he said he killed his wife not because he didn’t love her,but because he loved her TOO much aka love and murder go hand in hand
@@hell_inn0258 Just because someone says it doesn't mean it's true. You don't hurt someone you truly love.
TheSm1thers yeah I know I was just adding on to this saying because that is how most abusive partners justify themselves smh :( and then it makes women really think that that’s love
@@hell_inn0258 Yeah it's fucked up and it has a knock-on effect to partners who get traumatised by it. Sad.

I always thought this case would be complicated because he was walking free but its so obvious that he did it. I feel so bad for Nicole and her family. Ridiculous that the jury didn't see what was right in front of them. This breaks my heart.

At least he went to prison for awhile. Assault, burglary, and kidnapping.

Why O.J is innocent: "Bro just trust me"
@man with square mustache exactly literally anyone with common sense can solve this
Actually, the case at some point went past OJ's guilt or innocent. That part is something I can only speculate about. I do not know all of the circumstances that made this whole case so controversial. OJ stated that "You don't wanna know." There were too many people that got bitten in this whole episode to think it was only about the murders of Nicole and Ron.
@@gregoryyoung9148 yeah the case turned into a racial issue rather than a murder case which sucks for the families of the victims.

That's an overreaction
The glove didn't fit because it was leather and leather shrinks when wet.
Naomi Hunter Also he was bending his fingers so it wouldn't fit. Christopher Darden even asked Simpson to straighten his fingers when putting on the gloves during the trial.
Jessica W indeed. when he got them off, it took 4 seconds
Also, he had arthritis, and didnt take his medicine
Naomi Hunter oooh.... a real Nancy Drew over here.
They were real leather... real leather doesn't lose its shape at all
To be honest, it really seems suspicious how much evidence was left there. What murderer leaves a hat, glove and bloody footprint with their own blood on it, then takes the other bloody glove back to their house? Even if it was all a mistake, why take the glove, not just throw it out or leave both?
I think he didn't really plan it much, probably did it out of anger or something
thats very possible, but still. did he take off one glove at the crime scene and left the other on? and why a sock?
I am disgusted maybe he's trying to cover up the evidence for someone else murder
I think he did it out of anger, and he didn't plan it. He probably got pissed, and then just went and did it. He probably realized that he was in trouble afterwards, and didn't think to do much with the crime scene afterwards.
I think his son did it and he was trying to protect him so he planted the evidence.
OJ could've at any point said to the jury "Hey, just wanted to let you know I did it and you should totally find me guilty." and they'd STILL find him not guilty.
They wanted blood for Rodney King
This right here
I feel so bad for their children that were sleeping at the time of the murders. I can't imagine the trauma they have had to live with their entire lives.
Well, at least they didn’t have to witness it
Every one knows that this is the best series buzzfeed makes is unsolved
Well there's also Try Guys which is pretty decent
Try Guys turned out to be a sellout. Their Red series looks scripted and not genuine. Try Guys was fun while it lasted at least
Ladylike is p nice too, though
Marc Frost it was good but now they constantly pump out episodes because they know that people like it, therefore accidentally damning it. It was good because it was fresh and episodes weren't released every few days
Marc Frost Yeah, ladylike is the best!

Zamaric L is dead

L is my favourite character
Alistair Matt, Yeah Obviously C.C. Tinsley.
The incompetence of the prosecution team will never cease to infuriate me. They basically had an open goal here and they missed.
What's the point of prosecution and defense.....its all down to jury..........and those are randoms people from streets with their personal biases
O.J. Simpson really took it to the grave 😭🤦♂️
Repeatedly saying "All I did was love her" sounds like a murderer trying to convince himself he was innocent, even when he has a history of threatening his wife and her calling 911 on him while he's screaming he's gonna f*ck her up/kill her in the background
“All I did was love her” sounds like an abusive spouse trying to justify themself
@@laurafrakinroslin that is uncomfortably true
To be fair if you listen to the 911 call it was a verbal argument. Nicole was snorting coke with Heidi Fliess with his kids upstairs. Hell yeah he was pissed.
In his mind its her fault for not accepting his love that he had to kill her. Hes not exactly lying he just doesnt see the difference between obsession and love.
yeah and maybe nichole broke up with him and he got mad abt that and she grew closer to her friend who maybe she was close to while she was still with OJ and OJ knew abt thier relationship then nichole broke up with him and got with her friend so he killed them or hired someone
“OJ your ex-wife is d-“
“Who killed her?”
@@kaistzar2831 well he didn't say "Wait what? She's dead?" He immediately asked who killed her.
Yeah I’ve considered too that she was fairly young and otherwise healthy so if she suddenly died that thinking she was murdered was logical. Also judging people’s guilt based on how they grieve isn’t always a good way to determine if they did it
But when you take the statement with all the other evidence ...
It did not go down like that. He was told that she was killed.
Marcia Clark is Questioning Det. Ron Phillips
Q: AND THEN YOU SPOKE TO SOMEONE WHO ACKNOWLEDGED THAT HE WAS MR. SIMPSON?
A: YES.
Q: WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?

Q: WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?
A: HE -- I THINK THE FIRST WORDS OUT OF HIS MOUTH WERE SOMETHING TO THE EFFECT. "OH, MY GOD. NICOLE IS KILLED? AND OH, MY GOD, SHE IS DEAD?" AND THEN HE GOT VERY UPSET ON THE TELEPHONE.
Q: AND THEN WHAT HAPPENED?
A: I KEPT TRYING TO CALM HIM DOWN AND HE CONTINUED TO BE UPSET, WHICH I EXPECTED, AND HE CONTINUED TO BE UPSET AND I FINALLY SAID, "MR. SIMPSON, PLEASE TRY TO GET AHOLD OF YOURSELF. I HAVE YOUR CHILDREN AT THE WEST LOS ANGELES POLICE STATION. I NEED TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT THAT." AND HE SAID -- AND HE SAID, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU HAVE MY CHILDREN AT THE POLICE STATION? WHY ARE MY KIDS AT THE POLICE STATION?" AND I SAID, "BECAUSE WE HAD NO PLACE ELSE TO TAKE THEM. THEY ARE THERE FOR SAFEKEEPING. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR CHILDREN." AND AT THAT TIME HE SAID, "WELL, I'M GOING TO BE LEAVING OUT OF CHICAGO ON THE FIRST AVAILABLE FLIGHT. I WILL COME BACK TO LOS ANGELES. IS ARNELLE THERE?" AND I SAID, "YES, SHE IS." AND HE SAID, "LET ME TALK TO ARNELLE" WHICH I GAVE THE PHONE BACK TO ARNELLE.
Q: NOW, DURING -- DID HE ASK YOU WHEN THE MURDER OCCURRED?
A: I DIDN'T TELL HIM THAT SHE HAD BEEN MURDERED. I TOLD HIM SHE HAD BEEN KILLED.
Alright I was just making a joke with how they explained how it went in the video. You guys don’t need to give me a school essay on what happened
Wyatt Mueller
You may have been joking but your statement is believed by many I know because I’m still debating this point this very moment on Facebook. He was told that his wife was killed, not that she was dead or have died. He asked them what do you mean she was killed? The detectives confirmed that. So when people that believe that look at your statement, they’re thinking, “yeah, exactly what I was thinking, that’s because he did it. “ I believe he’s innocent, so that’s why I’m on these forums correcting all the lies the media had raised. So your joke was one of those lies.
I love coming back to old videos between these two, it’s like snorting a line of nostalgia.
very weird analogy...
Same Bro
One juror in an interview said " the DNA evidence didn't impress me, a lot of people have the same blood type ". Another juror held up a fist toward OJ signifying " black power ". Just food for thought.
Also the blood found at Oj's Home,in his Bronco,on the socks found at his Home, had EDTA in it...That is something added to the test tube after blood is taken from a person,so it does not coagulate...Now,the human body does not produce it's own EDTA...So how did it find it's way to the crime scene I wonder🤔...Also,detective Van Adder (I hop I spelt his name right) had the evidence with him from the crime scene for 3 days before booking it in...In what world does an Investigating Detective take the Evidence Home with him?
Any other Court Case, and the Judge hears that, and that case it thrown out of Court.
The huge part why he didn’t get convicted is the Rodney king riots and they didn’t want to have that kind of destruction again😅
In the 30 for 30 a juror said the verdict was revenge for the not guilty verdict in the rodney king case
Kalivermore925, thank you for that piece of information. I hadn't seen that.
Is it similar to the George Floyd case in that public opinion swayed the law?
This is so painful to watch because it is so oblivious that O.J. Did it.
Like literally WTF
Milton Cruz he could’ve gotten a glove that didn’t fit on purpose knowing that it would trick the jury
@Milton Cruz Don’t forget that the gloves were not only covered in blood, but frozen and thawed. Leather shrinks when wet.
Oblivious? Well I guess in an ironic way, you’re right.
My only comment on this is that he could have been framed. He had a friend there the whole time and in another thread of comments there was a discussion about blood evidence being planted.
@@indep_ Glove was with prosecution if I'm not mistaken so they couldn't have switched them. Also, the guy potentially planting them gives OJ reasonable doubt, regardless I think he did it.

Do Marilyn Monroe. I believed she was murdered 100%
Janay23 Other people say she overdosed on sleeping pills or something like that. I watched a documentary about it.
Karen Flores that's what was said, and believed. however, autopsy reports as well as toxicology reports showed NO trace of drugs in her system. Her stomach completely empty. Detectives even reported saying that she wasnt positioned in a way that a body would be if the person had comitted suicide, but looked as if she was placed into position.
Janay23 That would be a really good one
Her doctor totally murdered her, or at least helped to kill her. She was involved with the Kennedys. She was drugged so much and so fake during her last year's alive, something was wrong with her and it wasn't her fault.

“The glove doesn’t fit!” Literally shows a picture of the glove fitting, just kinda tight
Luna Legacy Someone didn’t watched the trial. The gloves were clearly too small to fit his hand. He was even given a knife couldn’t hold it with any kind of firmness.
KEN G if you’re saying you believe O.J didn’t do this crime. You’re delusional.
ape You’re not much of a critical thinker or analytical if you believe everything the prosecutor presented. 1.Prosecution’s case was weak! They didn’t interview no one else but OJ. 2. The first investigator on the scene was a racist, so no motive to set a black man up for murder right?? 3. How do you kill two people with a knife one of them being a black belt in karate and only come out with a cut on your finger? Where’s the knife?? Whoever did it wanted everyone to see what they did like a drug hit. I do believe he knew what was about to happen and even showed up on the scene to make sure she was dead, freaked out and left.
@KEN G actually he did do it or at least I think he did there is a lot of evidence one of which being is when he was told about his x - wife’s death he asked who killed her how would he know she was Murderd why didn’t he think it was suicide or an accident the simple fact that he asked that was proof that he knew it was murder so that’s one point the next being that he had motive and time first of all they where divorced considering what oj said he was not happy about the divorce and seeing her with another guy must have filled him with rage and like the vid said he had roughly 45 mins to kill them and get cleaned up will that is a very slim time to do all of that it is possible another factor was his dna 🧬 found in the scene of the crime today that’s enough to get you a trial and a near guilty verdict but not only that but also his blood and he had a cut on his finger and the bloody shoe print was his size and he purchased a knife like the one that was thought to be used and the other glove was also found in his backyard with his blood on it and the only reason it didn’t fit was because it was leather and frozen a lot of times it obviously shrunk
It fit like a glove
As soon as I heard OJ passed I came straight here for some reason.
Anyone else come back to watch Ryan and Shane’s old episodes occasionally? Also the drop in viewership 💀
Literally came here just to try and find others who remember where these two came from and now get to see their downfall
the defense was basically "let's point out racism and guilt shame them into saying he's innocent"
Yup

which is a smart move so i give them credit

Todoroki tells no lies
The only reason that glove didn’t fit was because it was drenched in blood and then left to bake in a hot van for days followed by freezing. Leather shrinks rapidly.
Also he apparently stopped taking anti-inflammatory pills a week before the trial
And he wore latex gloves when putting them on before the jury.
Those style of gloves are meant to be tight anyways. theyre driving gloves
Darden is a nice guy but what the hell was he thinking? this experiment could and should have been done outside the presence of the jury. on the record though, then do it in front of the jury. either way you got him.
Sir, gloves are made to NOT shrink. Ask anyone up North in winter. Also gloves where NOT soaking in blood - less than 3ccs of blood on them - too small for shrink
Falling asleep to this video on the day OJ died. What a time to be alive.
I actually read the entire I did it book. And in a very detailed account he talked about how he met Nicole and went on and on about how much he “loved” her. It was honestly horrible. He also bashes the Goldman family in the beginning of the book explaining that they were just trying to profit from his ex wife’s death.
He didn’t write the book, he was paid $600,000 by a ghostwriter to say that he wrote It and to accept interviews
I read it and then watched the Hypothetical confession to Judith Reagan.
The ghost of OJ's wife could have showed up at that trial and said he killed her and they still would have said he was innocent.
That is probably a good thing though. We shouldn't be running round believing ghosts any more than human witnesses! Think about it. Say an unknown assailant killed Simpson and she never even got a good look. If she came back as a ghost and found OJ on trial, he's still the guy who ruined her life, and she still doesn't know her actual killer, wouldn't she be tempted to put OJ away rather than having other girls live through her own experience of abuse? Of course she would lie!

They were way to tight and would honestly not fit at all. His hands were way to big. They barley fit over his hand. The globes belonged to the person who killed Nicole and Ronald. The person on hired? Who knows. Only god does, Nicole and Ron.

It was the biggest whitewash since Huck Finn painted the f*****g fence
YES. Thank you! How is this helping black people?
I don’t think it was really an effort to shame people. The jury was majority black so I think the defense was just trying to play on the reasonable distrust black people in Los Angeles had towards the LAPD at the time

do the death of WWE Wrestler Chris Beniot and his family. its really controversial because some people think someone killed him and his family while others think he killed his wife and 7 year old son and then killed himself. There are really creepy things leading up to his death and what they found out about him after the investigation. Search it up and like this so Buzzfeed can see this.
I B yessssss
I B please do this buzzfeed
for realll ... Not alot of Ppl know about him anymore because of it ...
I've done some research into the Chris Benoit incident before, but it being controversial and there being creepy things leading up to his death is new to me. What was found out about him afterwards? Why do people think it was murder?
Also, I thought his son was 7 at the time of death?
your right he was 7. basically its controversial and people think it was a murder because he was still a current wrestler at the time and was scheduled to win a title but then he died. People think another wrestler named Kevin Sullivan killed them because Chris' wife was dating Kevin before and reportedly cheated on kevin with chris. They thought it was a muder andWWE even had a memorial for him. The next day, they found out in was a double murder suicide and WWE blacklisted him. To this day, no one can talk about him in WWE. The creepy things were the convos he had before he died. He talked to another wrestler, I think it was Rey Mysterio, a few hours before he died. Chris told him he thought he was being followed and stuff and told Rey he loved him and would miss him. Theres more but that would take forever to write.
One nice piece of justice that we can take away is that he was forever infamous after this, he may not have gotten a Guilty verdict but his reputation was forever tarnished up until his death.
At least we dont gotta pay for this video

Good old times before greedy "watcher"
BUT WHAT HAPPEND TO THE DOG?!
He's probably dead by now

Nicole's family took the dog. Her sister and parents were very involved with the case. She had been out to dinner with them the night it happened. Nicole and Ron's families sued OJ after his trial.

everyone: *welllllll we don’t know for sure*
Seriously! The fucking people here talking about how innocent he was is ridiculous. Jim Jim especially.
😭😭😭fr
Sorry. The lab tech testified to spilling Ojs blood vial then immediately handling the glove. They found a speck of OJ blood in the lab months later. No OJ DNA on the cap.
#RileySmith, these guys either purposely or ignorantly left out actual facts from trial! Barry Scheck seriously showed how damn dodgy all blood evidence was!
There were blood drops on his driveway and in his foyer but there was no blood on light switches, door handles or carpet leading up to his bedroom. There was no blood in his sinks or in the plumbing. OJ had no bruises from struggle with Ron or from running into any objects in his path! Where the glove was found there were no blood drops leading up to it!
On his way to Chicago not one witness saw a bloody finger and bandage! There was no blood on his white shirt! He signed autograph, shook hands with many people and even signed the log book of the first captain! OJ was sitting on the right side of the plane! It was witnessed that he had a relaxed and calm demeanour.
His hair wasn’t in knitted cap like these guys are saying and the socks in his bedroom had high levels of EDTA on them!
The blood on the back gate at bundy had higher concentrations of DNA than the samples taken from the front the next day of the murders, while back gate blood was taken 3 weeks later! That’s why OJ was found not guilty! Nothing more and nothing less!
The gloves didn’t fit. That almost completely proves that he didn’t do it. Unless the gloves found were not the gloves used during the murder. Seems a little too obvious to leave a bloody glove at the crime scene
Who's here after the news
Anyone come here after they found out he just died?

All of us. We all came here.
Looks like it’s just you, sorry!
this video is not creepy, unlike a lot of the other buzzfeed unsolved episodes, because it's just a murder case that most people already know about, but the music is what makes it creepy
This is hella creepy because a murderer clearly is still on the loose.............
Well OJ is in prison so a murderer is not on the loose if you think he did it.

And he was wearing latex gloves when they made him try on the leather ones that just doesn't work
SystemCurse It still makes all the difference.
CookieAstro -_ sss because of irrelevant racism 😥 ...I feel so bad for the victim's families.
I still believe he didn't kill them
I think luck played a huge part in this case. O.J. and his defense team were very lucky that it was Mark Fuhrman who found the glove. If it had been another cop who wasn't racist, Cochran and the team wouldn't have a reason to play the race card which blinded the jurors from the cold hard evidence that was found. He was also lucky about the gloves because leather gloves shrink after becoming wet (in this case from all the blood) and since it was kept frozen to preserve the blood it became more worn out. A lot of people don't mention that the prosecution had brought in another pair of the same gloves in mint condition in the same style and size and it fit O.J. But obviously no one cared about that because they weren't THE gloves at the scene.
The most solved unsolved mystery of all time
That is a great way of putting it. They wanted to leave us with the closure that OJ did it and got away with it. However, I get the feeling that there were so many things this whole episode branched out into that we only scratched the surface of what really happened.
All of Nicole's circle of close friends immediately thought it was a drug hit. They all freaked out - and every one of them went went into hiding. Even the rehab center Nicole's roommate was in went on lock down after the murders.
@@Jim.Jim.32 She was out there. It is so funny that no one in the mainstream questioned her lifestyle. Hell, they won't acknowledge that OJ divorced her. And he paid her a lump sum to avoid paying alimony. And she was dating some very seedy guys. They immediately believed that OJ did it. I wonder why.......
I personally believe that he didn’t do it....... But... i do believe that he payed someone else to do it
@@Pokerice No reason to do this. OJ was making 60k a month and paying Nicole 10k a month. He was dating Paula Barbieri one of the most beautiful women alive. Nicole was seen sitting on OJs lap two weeks before the murders at a pizza party at OJs.

I've heard that OJ's team told him to stop taking his arthritis medication, causing his hands to swell, and the gloves to not fit.

they were freezing and unfreezing the gloves to preserve the blood and evidence on them, which caused the leather to shrink. not to mention he put the glove on OVER a latex glove, which putting anything over latex is basically impossible

Facts
idk bu i kinda feel like the Jason Simpson one makes more sense
The glove “didn’t fit” because it was a leather glove which shrinks if it is frozen and not handled properly.
I can’t believe it was one of the petty reason why he was acquitted
exactly, leather shrinks in water or any sort of liquid, aka blood.
He was also on medicine that made his hands swell with water weight
It didn’t fit because he was rich and famous
He was also wearing latex cloves underneath them when he was trying them on (to not taint the evidence)
