I know most people with Touretees I've have said they don't mind when people laugh at there tics. They understand that people not use to be around people with Touretees find the tics funny. There family and friends are use to so they don't laugh at there tics. It's just normal for them.

I’m a teen obviously I judge people sometimes as a human but I always try to avoid it because ik how it can ruin your day or if you have a disability like one time I was just smiling and a girl was judging and asking why like 🤨

I don’t have Tourette’s but I used to have tics and they’d mostly come out in public due to anxiety and whenever I had headphones in because i couldn’t hear them and therefore control them

Wow! Your Mom is Right, You really are Amazing. I have Tourette's aslo, and it suck. When I was your age Tourette Syndrome was not known nearly as well as it is today. I have been thrown out of Restaurants, Movie Theaters, Banks and basically everywhere that is a public area. All of that was in the early 90's and trying to explain Tourette Syndrome was completely alien to people and they simply did not care or at least care to know.. Today my Tics are worse then ever and I do everything I can so that I don't have to leave my House. For a short time in my 20's my Tics virtually disappeared and I met my future Wife. She is absolutely Amazing. About 2 years into our Marriage my Tics returned but with a Vengeance. The friends I made during the timeline that I really had no tics to speak of, all of a sudden disappeared But my Wife did Not ..... Again I think you are awesome and a true Inspiration. Thank you so much for posting your day. My youngest has been having tics for about six months now and she is getting tested for Tourette's. Making information known about it seems to be helping a lot. Even though she us in preschool, the kids in her class were very understanding when we explained that its her body doing it and not her. Keep spreading the word and normalize it! Much love!

I grew up with tourettes since I was 6 and man i was always embarrassed when my tics would make my face twitch or i would clear my throat ALL THE TIME.
The golden news is when you get older the symptoms become more neutral and now you're going to have a rock solid personality! Keep being awesome and know that it gets better, it did for me and I'm super happy at 27 now :)

Cara Meserve you may have anxiety. But idk I don’t know you. Anxiety can cause tics I have some, tourettes is less likely then anxiety tics or a tic disorder. I would suggest going to a doctor and see what the way!! Sooo best of luck to you
