I'll never watch an Amber film again. The Amber star lost her dazzle. It's a true shame. (Makes me appreciate my loving marriage of 33 years even more. Shows that money and fame certainly is not the key to lasting true love; if anything, quite possibly detrimental-- at least challenging.

Obviously it was a very toxic relationship, however, it appears that JD was using substances to try and deal with the damage caused by his mother and consequently, the likeness of his mother in AH. Watching and listening to the case, all Ive heard so far is how amazing Johnny has been in helping others and letting them live with him in his penthouses. Everyone that knew him had nothing bad to say about him. Yet you literally heard on tape of Amber saying she hits him (proof), as well as how she smashed a cigar in his face, and intentionally severely injured his finger with a liquor bottle. Amber former assistance also talks about how bad she treated her by spitting in her face for asking for a raise and how she treats her sister like a dog.
Anyone watching and listening to the case with 1/10 of a brain knows Amber is the problem. Her attorneys have absolutely nothing on Johnny and only proceed to talk about his involvement in alcohols.

    • @lolasmom5816

Right? I'm pretty sure everyone considers throwing an item in anger is an act of violence. If u toss a cup at someone joking around it's not violence. If u do it in anger it is. The intent matters far more than what u threw. Throwing anything in anger is violence. It doesn't have to be an item that can cause physical injury. It's causes an emotional injury. My ex threw stuff at me in anger. It was so degrading when he did it. I felt like a stray dog on the side of the road when he threw stuff at me.

The more I watch this trial, the more I see Depp in a better light. By no means is he perfect but at the very least it seems he's always treated the people around him with respect and that's going a long way now. I've read a lot from people who've met him to people who've worked with him say nothing but good things about him. These lawyers are trying to play abusive alcoholic/drug addict card but it's not working because addiction doesn't necessarily make you a bad person. I don't think Johnny Depp is a bad person, but this trial is showing he's been through a lot and he cops with booze, a lot of people do. Hope he gets his justice because this isn't something he should be going through in the first place. He's done nothing but help his loved ones and to be betrayed the way he has is the true crime here. We stand with you, Johnny ❤️

Hearsay is specifically an “out of court statement.”
Witnesses are not allowed to speak on things other people told them. Instead, the person who told them that thing needs to be brought to court and cross examined. The idea is that, evidence/testimony that cannot be cross examined cannot be brought into court, unless it is authenticated or meets an exception to the hearsay rule.
A lawyer can say that phrase because in doing so he is not bringing in evidence, but is rather, seeking to face the witness corroborate the fact that there has, in fact, “Been times were…”

Very true! Especially when mixed with opiates. Excessive alcohol usually makes an opiate user tired or sick. However, opiate users tend to have a higher tolerance for alcohol because they can't feel the effects until it's too late. And as you pointed out, ones reaction is also based on their tolerance level, genes, bill of health, how much they had to eat, amount of opiates in their system, type/percentage of alcohol, brain function, personality type ...the list goes on and on. The outcome is different for everyone. The fact Amber's lawyers are suggesting that addiction/alcohol use automatically makes someone a violent person is not only ridiculous, but an attempt to mislead the jury.

Johnny’s team did a good job of finishing both of their testimonies on a strong memorable note. Interesting how differently the people in his life perceived and engaged with Johnny and Vanessa versus Johnny and Amber.

If millions of people around the world see it, I'm pretty sure a lot of people in that court room see it too. The case isn't over yet. Let's hope those on the jury panel are reasonable and intelligent. And you're absolutely right about the effects of narcissism on their victim. I was so miserable and confused in my abusive marriage that I suffered from suicidal ideation. When I heard that devastating recording of him it brought back haunting memories of my own turmoil. It was heartbreaking. I could hear and feel his pain. Meanwhile, his own wife was recording it for ammunition. How manipulative and emotionally abusive.

The more I follow the trial the I find it sad that a talented man like Johnny Depp was in a position/situation that ruined his life and tarnished his career. This Amber lady is vile and she deserves the harshest punishment the universe could ever hand down to her. Johnny is not a perfect human being but he is also not an abuser. Women are abusive too.

He’s worked hard to get where he’s at!!!
He’s not perfect, but who is, but if anyone thinks he hit this person he was married to, then I guess there are Martians on Mars!!!
I’ll NEVER believe that he would ever hit a woman!!!

We have justice system in this country, but that’s not necessarily mean we have justice. At the end of the day, it is only lawyers, both sides I might add, who are winners in such a case, not plaintiff nor defendant.
