Sad to be in lockdown in Scotland, now it means I can improve my Dj skills and watch your vids. I’m only 14 and have a DJ company in Scotland. I look up to you m8, keep up the good work.👌🏻
Man this is the hardest thing in the world especially if you have a crowd on the floor... you don't want to loose that.... that is why it is so important to have the whole package music with great sound and also a great visual presence
Bayardo Rugama you are always so hyped I don’t know 🤷🏼♀️ why would you need a Red Bull! Love the mix, maybe you should make a podcast of music mixes, stay safe
So for the wedding, did they pick that color for the wash? Seems the photos would not look all that great, especially her white dress... what a GREAT TIME! The room looked amazing. I really like the idea of getting them up before dinner instead of sitting for so long. Thanks for the videos, the inspiration and FUN.
Awesome video, great tunes 👍 I love 💕 love the lightning effects, sick & certainly get more gigs when this pandemic over, I start slowly like warm up songs tech house or deep house, the building the pace up I go little harder, watching the crowd & taking in account how I’m feeling too, it’s a slow jog to run , run psy trance, I typically go around 124bpm up to 145pm as having experience in night clubs, & mobile DJING I know how to pace the night & plus I sing and I know how get a party started and Finnish it with epic Finnish
Those were great sets! I have more practice to do, but I would also start with the American bangers during mixed crowd unless the host tells me otherwise. OAN...when do you plan to the Harbingers you have in storage?
Heres what I do: (These are for BM's) Cocktail hour: Parents are in another room. (Cocktail music for them) And I knock out all the rap that kids want to hear and mosh to during cocktail hour. After cocktail is introductions, I introduce the family and then play an opening set. (During the opening set I usually play new pop music that the kids like and adults to get them all on dance floor) After opening set parents eat dinner, I play more rap for the kids and then some background music. (THe kids usually never sit down and have a full meal, it's like grab a slider, chomp it down, dance, grab another slider) After everyone is finished eating, I hit the adults with some classic songs, after that, I usually go into Hava N'gilah and then more pop that parents and kids like. TO end the night I move around between different genres.
It's always a battle in my head when I deal with different cultures present that's for sure. I usually do like you do. Do the top hits for the bigger crowd first mostly targeting women because we as men, even if the song sucks and women are beautiful on the dancefloor we are shaking.
@@RealDJblaze I'm just saying... It's a little surprising to be bumping and grinding at this particular time. Hope nobody at this wedding caught any bugs...
You stopped the music too many to do shout outs to the bride and groom. The 3rd time it was done you could tell the crowd were fed up of it and had lost interest. The rest was fantastic.
DJ Barr, You know I've got nothing but love for you bro. But there's one thing you do that makes me cringe a little. When you're in MC mode you need to plant yourself in 1 place and not wander back-and-forth while you're talking. Keep in mind that you are the center of attention when you speak on the mic. Watch hosts on TV shows or TED talks. You won't see them with 1 hand in their pocket wandering back-and-forth as they speak. Your movements in the "spotlight" should all have meaning. (They teach actors this in theater companies). Each step you take towards your audience or away, to the left or to the right, should have a purpose. Watch your video again. Notice how you wander aimlessly to the right & left, forward and backward? You can do better! Other than that little peccadillo, I love all your videos. Stay Safe & Rock On! 😷👍👍
Hey Greg, thank you for the feed back. However I would have to disagree. I model my hosting a lot like Stephen Colbert, if you watch him you’ll notice the similarities. Including the hand in pocket. The other thing you must understand a specially in venues like this is the audience is not all on one side. This venue in particular, had a t-shape which means if I stand still and only face one side I would be giving my back to another so move around to acknowledge that I have an audience beside in front and behind me. A ted talk has a designed stage, and hard cam where the speakers must face. The audience is also front and center. Also it’s just my style, I like walking around and had in the pocket it’s a something I stole from Stephen Colbert, I love his work. Lol
10:07 Moskau? ...I am from Germany and its a big Party Classic here, but how it happend you Played it in your Country? …verry cool
