i love how scar freaks out when he sees the military train, because even though he’s incredibly powerful, he still gets scared at the thought of who is coming to kill him, especially since he knows about homonculis and knows they arent easy fights at all
The fact that Scar wasn't the one to off Kimblee always boils my blood. All that buildup and he gets offed by Aslan and Anime Damien. What a fucking waste.
From what I can tell they’re only interaction is Scar has heard of how scary Kimblee is. It makes more sense for his final battle to be with pride because not only did he lead the Genocide of the ishavalans with one of his fellow Homunculi Envy Starting it But verbally broke them down and everything they believed in and mocked their religion
I hate anime. I've been hating it since I remember. I've been raised on anime hatred. I only watched FMA due to an unfortunate misunderstanding that resulted in a person I wanted to impress thinking that I had seen it, so it would be a shame to be cought on not knowing it. I did not change my mind about anime. But man, when this appeared on the screen I realised that no matter how awful the genre is, this series is a fucking gem. I've bingled the entire Briggs arc in one day, breaking my old record in a number of episodes per day. Briggs forever in my heart and this scene will always be my favourite.
FMA:B does that to non-anime fans. But why Briggs arc in particular? I swear you're missing out, anime has so much more than the usual shounen or lolicon crap that ignorant people think it has. I recommend Attack on Titan, the first season is good but the plot gets more and more complex and developed in the later ones, tackles some pretty heavy stuff. I usually scoff at popular stuff because it might be overrated, but AoT is genuinely amazing. It's like FMA:B but a bit darker
