Hi Ron, great review. Especially you did put the auto rack through the crossing test and it is important.
Having said that, I'm still experiencing derailment problems with my 28 Scaletrains auto rack trains (at the Kato Double Crossovers).
I've taken a couple of steps in trying to cure such issue...
1. Add weight : I've added weight to some 7-8 cars (at the front with the weights that I have on hand) from its factory 45 grams weight up to 60-64 grams. It did eliminate some derailments but not all and with a few with added weight still derailed.
2. Replaced couplers : With the few Micro Trains couples on hand, I put them on to a few cars and immediately with positive results. I've ordered more yesterday with the plan to have all Scaletrains' replaced with Micro Trains'.
Will report back once I have the new couplers in place.

Hey Ron from Another Ron just had to do that Great Review I Was wondering if there Weights where spot on with NMRA standards I do need a Scale I know where I can get me a Scale.. No not from Momma's Kitchen but there is A place that sells kitchen Stuff Downtown that would have One, And hope to see ya At if your not Busy at the Train Show here where I live in Hutchinson Spring Creek Model Trains should have there Booth here.. And on the Scale Trains I think the Autorack is Awesome a bit Wobbly thats minor, but it pulls Good shuvs well going into my pesky KATO Turnouts and it looks swell Rolling down the Track...
Eric you be Nice Brother Dude I wanted to see some Southern Pacific in the Autoracks as Well we have to have our S.P. but I can live with some BNSF Orange 🍊
