Great, thanks so much for watching! Here I'm using an AEA r84 ribbon mic and a Neumann km 184 small diaphragm condenser mic. They have very different characteristics, so I've been experimenting with combining them on a single sound source. I've had some phase related difficulties when placing the mics this close to each other, but I'm quite happy with the sound in this clip.
I would love to jam with you! I just discovered the cromatic button accordion and bought one. Perhaps you might take a chance because this is a whole new level of accordion!
My guess is that he was in an open tuning, maybe DADGAD. This means his A was on the 7th fret. As the song is in the key of Am, he'd have been able to play along using open chords.

is there any way you can play it a bit slower? I just love your playing sounds like Phil Cunningham
Hi Nancy. I have just been listening to Anders and wondered if you knew about how to slow down the speed of the video itself. Do you?
@@GraeneyMac no sorry I don't

@@GraeneyMac ok I don't have a slower speed on my connections, only faster - on playback
Very nice but why not play the bassnotes ?
I second this question. Is that typical of Irish reels?
