For Spell Delivery, the familiar does not use it’s attack bonus... It uses the Master's spell DC or spell attack. Spell Delivery = Reach Spell metamagic.

    Great stuff!
But you can also get familiars from Ancestry feats, such as Gnome’s Animal Accomplice or Kitsune’s Star Orb!
Edit: Actually for Spell Delivery, it doesn’t use it’s attack bonus. It uses your own spell DC or spell attack. Spell Delivery = Reach Spell metamagic.
Familiars also cannot Aid normally because they don’t have reactions, UNLESS you select a familiar ability granting it a reaction for a SPECIFIC Aid.
Specific Familiars (a whole separate subject) can break some of these rules. For example, the Crawling Hand can Aid attack rolls (and auto succeeds), the Ceru can give you give you cantrips you don’t have access to normally, the Faerie Dragon has a stupefy/slow, and the Spirit Guide has increased HP and can Strike enemies equal to your own martial accuracies. You have to “sacrifice” your normal familiar in exchange for this specific familiar. And to regain a “normal” familiar, you have to “sacrifice” your specific familiar.
    Still, great coverage!

Wow, thanks for the comment and the information! I knew of the Aid issue but I have been with a DM who allowed it, totally my mistake and I do need to put a disclaimer in there next time.
There are A LOT of exceptions to the basic familiars - Clockwork, Shadow, Ceru, etc. Maybe I need to change the title to Basic Familiars? I can't add to the video itself in RUclips studio, only edit out. I think I'll add the link to Specific Familiars and UIndead Companions in the description:
      2e.aonprd.com/Familiars.aspx?Specific=true
      2e.aonprd.com/AnimalCompanions.aspx?Undead=true
Thanks for the input and it will help me make a better channel.

@@slystrategist Either/Or! Specific Familiars vs. Familiars will always be confusing for new players and per the rules, a regular familiar is just “Familiar”, so you did it correctly!

I am a new GM and new to PF2e. Thank you for content, it is very helpful.
I hope someone more knowledgeable in PF2e can help me. One of my players wants to play a beastmaster barbarian. Normally you give up one action to give your minion (animal companion) two actions.
The problem is you cannot command an animal while raging. The barbarian can use the feat “Moment of Clarity” to command an animal. Basically using two actions to give the animal two actions while she is in a rage. I think this is fine and fair, but not fun. I would like to give the animal something to do even if the barbarian only has one action left.
I am considering creating a custom feat but I am worried about wrecking Pf2e’s careful balance. What do you think about this?
    ---
Barbarian Custom Class Feat: Sic-em (one action)
You issue an order to your animal companion. The animal companion can only stride towards or strike the nearest enemy target.
    ---
The barbarian is giving one of her actions to give the animal companion one action. The animal can only stride or strike the nearest enemy. This prevents the animal from intentionally flanking, using its special abilities or other attacks (trip, demoralize, etc.).
    Thoughts?

Hmmm... To be honest, I think you have put a fair bit of balance in your wording. "Only stride or strike." Is it a tiny bit extra... Yes; but will it break the balance... I can't see that.
What I think I would do is try it...
If you find it too overpowering after a session or two, limit it to ONLY strike or ONLY stride. Just communicate with the barbarian beforehand that this is a trial.
