Agree 100%. Her first 4 albums were awesome, but in a completely different way. Saint Cloud, the Plains album and this are next level. I think the best way to describe is that she's not one of my favorite artists ever, but two of my favorite artists ever.

Rich and bittersweet like a jar of molasses on the front porch in the early days of summer, sun lazily dragging the last remnants of the day past the edge of the horizon. A slight breeze gently rocks the porch swing in cadence with the subtle rise and swell of the sounds of a warm Georgia night. Easily one of the best songs of the past few years. Waxahatchee is a melody monster. And the harmonies in this one... the texture of their combined voices is so soothing. Awesome. Think I'll go pick up my guitar now... Feeling inspired.

It's making me homesick. (Filmed where I spent my childhood)
Three weeks ago tomorrow my wife and I awoke to the sound of our cat suddenly not breathing. We rushed him to the emergency vet but it was too late - they couldn’t save him. We were completely stunned, he had just received a healthy check-up a few months back.
On the ride back I turned on the radio because the silence was suffocating me and this song came on. We both just lost it. Looking back though, it was the perfect song to encapsulate the way we felt about him.
Thank you Waxahatchee and MJ Lenderman, we’ll always have this song to remember our good boy by.

Two words - wow eee. So glad this has got introduced to a British audience. I've got BBC Radio 6 to thank for bringing this sublime beauty to my ears. American culture at it's very, very finest. Up there with Bernstein, Thelonious Monk, Gillian Welch, Public Enemy, Nirvana, John Coltrane, Alison Krauss and Tony Bennett. Bravo from a totally captivated fan.

This needs more views its better then anything I have heard in a long time. This video looks like Caddo Lake near my hometown, and makes me miss the trees/water in East Texas.
