Man really knows his stuff and that's why he's one of the great film stars alive.
I like how he does stunts practically and the risks he is willing to take!! No wonder this guy’s name should have been Maverick or something!! The effort and planning he does is amazing!! All props to him!!

I am interested to see how Tom Cruise's career evolves when he is no longer young enough to do these action films. Performances like Born On The Fourth Of July and Interview With The Vampire illustrate what a brilliant actor he is and has a lot more to offer than being just 'Action Man.' I hope he doesn't retire when he can no longer physically do the 'Action' roles, and that he takes more acting risks, rather than just physical ones of the 'Action' variety. He is more than capable.

This was fascinating. I feel like I got a behind the scenes look at the way Tom goes about making a movie just by the intricacy of the answers he gave. You don't normally get this type of in depth response from actors talking about their movies, but his explanations really painted a picture of how he went about crafting the story.

Wow, what an interview. Am I the only one who can't breathe and literally went 😲😲while he was talking continuously and uninterrupted because that's the longest I heard him talk by mentioning his other films, how to draw audience, create emotional investment in the character, and such---all which really amazed me about his passion in filmmaking.

I don’t care about his personal life, I know all about that stuff. It won’t stop me from watching his movies. There won’t ever be another like him, his personality and just how invested, immersive, and intense he is in movie making is unmatched. His movies are great, all that I seen even if they weren’t my favorite, were still good. Things can always be done better, but we can count on Tom Cruise to get it done with movies.
Best interview I've seen with Cruise. I would like to hear more of how he thinks about Ethan as well as what of himself he has given to the character and what he has drawn from the character.

Gotta hand it to Tommy Cruise lol for dodging the C list curse. So many vets who were the TOP back in the 80s/90s are now in C/B grade movies or straight to streaming films. Here Tom is literally top 5 biggest starts SINCE the 80s...that is HARD AF to stay that consistent. Man really knows the SCIENCE of not just making movies, but telling amazing & compelling stories that LAST the test of time.
"... the franchise has earned it.." That one quote tells you how well he understands the whole movie making business.

his passion for his craft is unique in this day and age. usually it's the directors that are having to push the actors to engage. You can see the spielberg influence in Maverick with pushing technology along with maintain story. He's had a lot of great teachers along the way in his career . Credit to him for make use of their expertise in film making.

GREAT INTERVIEW!!! This Lady dud her research and asked insightful questions...allowed these ?'s tb answered. She went back & watched all the MI movies, & put thought into her questions. You see all the interviewees asking stupid questions & the lack 9f prep shows. Then they get hurt when subjects givem an F-U. Amazing work here!
