LED ZEPPELIN: Best band ever! At the time, this version of "Whole Lotta Love" from "The Song Remains the Same" (released on 10/22/1976) became the standard fan favorite live version among fans both then and now. And rightfully so. They were a machine of immense power and now, 44 years later, they are still a force of nature! Fortunately, I got to see them live at MSG in NYC on 6/14/1977 as a 17 yo. Best concert ever! You can take it from me a true fan. "New York, good night." Enjoy everyone!
I saw them in Atlanta on 4/21//77. It was epic, beyond description. Without a doubt the greatest concert I ever witnessed and I've seen practically all the greats!
Everybody loves to talk about how the west was won is the best live album they ever did. And it is great. But some of the songs on this one are even better IMO
It's the best of the 70s. IMO. Jimmy Page was the central lad with his lightning riffs especially in this show dazed and confused is bloody spectacular. Hat's off to the lads rip John
I bought this record when it first came out in 1976 I started singing it to myself as I was washing the dishes didn't want to pull out my vinyl with my greasy fingers so put it on RUclips and looked it up and sure enough it was there brought back a lot of memories wishing that I had been at that concert that night to see the great John Bonham pound away on those drums like a construction worker on steroids and the amazing vocal gymnastics of the Fantastic Robert Plant That Bass playing by John Paul Jones unparalleled and of course Jimmy Page with those crazy solos slide guitar and beautiful Les Paul lead passages. Wow I was literally getting Goosebumps hearing that and imagining those guys at the Apex of their careers performing in front of a stunned 1976 disco era New York City audience one of the best live albums of all time it's way up there with The Allman Brothers Band at Fillmore East Kiss Alive and Peter Frampton Comes Alive and let's not forget Cheap Trick at Budokan?
Una maravilla, me parece una grandiosa canción genialmente interpretada por Robert Plant, la banda esta genial no podría destacar a nadie es una locura verlos en directo,el DVD es estratosferico. la mejor banda sin duda de todos los tiempos.
Jimmy page was a god to the crowd of young guitar players I grew up with in the late 70’s. The Rain Song 🎶 is my personal favorite (check it out, it’s on Houses of the Holy)
I could say I technically went to a Led Zeppelin concert, my Mom was pregnant with me April 1973 at the Forum I was born in June, she said I kept moving and kicking, YEAH!!!
Yeah it is slightly chopped up compared to the original release in 1976, main difference being the crunge Jam goes on for longer in the original release
I said no purposely for others to try to find comfort,I don't mess with other people's wives as much I wanted the same which I never got!Hacaked from the software from a country like hour's and again not officer's get a bigger kick tearing your whole country apart!(no I don't see you for the toilets)
A mi me gusta mucho mas ' The Song Remains the same' que ' How the west was won'...Ademas la primera edicion y la ultima d TSRTS d 4 discos, los temas comunes ( Rock and roll, Whole lotta love, Dazed..,Stairway...No quarter)..son diferentes versiones...

B-B-B-B-Boogie! God, I love this song!!!!!!! "Lord have Mercy!"
Adolescent , quand tu achetais ce LP pour la première fois , l’émotion était à son comble .
Love the homage to Elvis' Sun Records period. Magnificent.
A great song by one of the greatest rock bands in the world
One of the top ten riffs of all time...incredible, fantastic, legendary Jimmy 🎸❤️
Pretty much discovered Led Zeppelin In the late 70s going through my step dad's albums and this was one of them, been doing the LED thing ever since

When there were kings who ruled the stages all over the world
Complete fucking jam. 2019 still strong
Jimmy is like secretariat to horse racing like Gretzky to the NHL like Brady to the NFL like Michael Jackson onstage
What...just kidding, I think
man just the sound of a Sunburst LesPaul through a Marshall stacks ,with the only Wizard Guitar God....Amen
you see the movie? he switches guitars mid song

Something anyone could take home to mom :) Epic!

My step dad gave me this on vynil a couple weeks back and i was blow away.

I could say I technically went to a Led Zeppelin concert, my Mom was pregnant with me April 1973 at the Forum I was born in June, she said I kept moving and kicking, YEAH!!!
No better tribute to Elvis
John Paul Jones with a galloping bass!
Yea, that's pretty ridiculous what he does on this.
Despite cutting out part of the crunge section...this is a smokin version of this song...
both versions are smoking THAT MAKES THIS THE REISSUE 2007
best ever amazing in every way
Why is it so chopped up?? Different than the original from The Song Remains the Same album
Jimmy is the fucking God...amazing.
best version
Like the original not the remastered version
Woe
Remastered, missing some incredible moments between the instruments
DA HAMMER OF THE GODS!!!!!
TURN IT UP!!!
I just did! :-)
À 3 ‘ 40 ´´ , 6 ´ 44 ´´ , 12’08´´ , moments fort
At around 9:50, it’s such a missed opportunity that we didn’t hear Robert Plant scream “Has anyone seen the bridge?”
Listen to John Lee Hooker's "Bogie Chillin"." You will hear the "That boy's got to bogie"!
Funky ain't what me and her weredoing
AMAZIIIIIIIINNNNNNNGGGGG
When giants walked the earth- the middle Theremin section would send Britney and Katie P to therapy...
Einfach Kult :)
★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Thank god for the theremin.
The bass drum was stereo panned when Bonzo was hitting the gong at the very end.
Does anyone know the name of the medley that is played near the end?
I used the top of the box set to separate the seeds from my dirt weed.
De la dynamite
Robert Plant thought he wanted to sound like the singer from Nazareth here apparently :P
Otherwise, it's pretty good.
seriously?????
intense
Das Gitarrensolo ab 04:22 ist unerreicht!
This has to be the best track on the album….sorry
Das Gitarrensolo ist unerreicht!
Sometimes I get naked, cover myself in oil and slither around in the dirt pretending that I'm a worm.
you probably are a worm. 😁👍
If you are a worm I'm a fish!!
This track is chopped up boo
waltzguy14151 fivk f*** you you piece of s***

Horrible edit around the 1:40 mark. Seriously?
Yes, this is edited out of the movie as well-- ugh!!
Yes I always wondered why they did that. 🤷🏻♂️🤔
Terrible remix. None necessary. You drowned the bass
