    Magnier put his watts on Strava. 961W for the last ~45s with an FTP of 390. PCS gives him 70kgs.

      he's always sounded like this, even in the JR ranks, he's been winning in EU since he was 15

      If he's been winning in Europe for years he's been there longer than 3 months. I'm not American, Canadian, or European, but I think the accent he's picking up is cool as.

    I like it when Luke just came back to the USA from Europe to annihilate everyone at crit nationals or money races where he could showcase his dominance

  • @sloothix
    @sloothix 7 месяцев назад +3

    Crazy Lamperti about to overhaul his much more illustrious Jrs teammate Quinn Simmons palmares in 2-3 months of racing. I guess it pays to be a sprinter but I was expecting him to be a 4-9th place finisher and definitely not to show this climbing we’ve seen in Oman.

    Yall ever notice how American riders seem to take on a slight European accent and sentence cadence when interviewed post race? Noticed Kuss doing this during the Vuelta last year but when hes being interviewed back home he speaks much more fluidly

    Great conversation about doping. Ever since reading Tyler Hamilton's book on the topic I've been thinking about a huge overlooked aspect of doping, and that is the rider's employments rights. Tyler said that the one reoccuring theme was that riders started doping on their third year as a pro, when it became clear that their contract and career was on the line. My strong belief is that the way to stop doping is to tackle that factors that lead to it. Among them being rider's rights and the workload of (i.e. amount of races)

      You can NEVER stop people whose JOB is to PERFORM from taking PERFOMANCE ENHANCING DRUGS lol.
      The boost is just TOO BIG to stay natty.
      The side effects of being natty as a pro are just not worth it for most athletes in big $ sports.
      Heck you even have blokes posing as chicks to win a parkrun on a saturday.

    Magnier has come out of nowhere, but his power output is immense! His junior results were nothing to write home about, and his provisional schedule still has U23 Liege on it. SQS need to trust the kids and start them in races like Omloop and Amstel.
