China is an ancient civilisation with 5000 Plus years of history. But it doesn’t live in the past. It moves forward into post modernity living in the future. Such an amazing hotel , which surpasses anything in the west. If only western governments focus their efforts to develop their own infrastructure, instead of wars and sanctions on their adversaries, will the world be a more peaceful place.
if you force countries to develop their military to defend themselves, after you threaten to attack them and regime change them, then yes the wst has adversaries. ROFL making enemies out of people, and then blaming people for being enemies, is ludriciously stup1d.
They do develop their own infrastructure. These places have more internet access, better hospitals, better stadiums, better tsp water, better life expectancies, better universities, better theatres, better music venues, more airports and normally on time , unlike the worst globally , China. Better trains in China . Great. And better light shows at night.
Most peaceful in history right now . US rebuilt countries after the war . Still a disgrace overall . Cyber attacks is war and China are champions. China has a global slave empire, Poor kids down mines 20 hrs a day , getting resources for China. Any news on covid cover up yet, 5 yrs later and WHO still demanding answers. Biggest and fastest military build up in history from China. Stop selling missile parts to war crimes Russia please. No to war. Whataboutisms bore me.
For any country building futuristic buildings is not the future but providing advance healthcare facilities, pollution free air , clean water and make human life better is true future .
Yes that’s true. there are advanced healthcare facilities in Nanjing too, not much pollution these days, massive increase in electric vehicles and more renewable energy sources. Life is pretty good in this city at least.
Prédios belíssimos, arquitetura moderna, urbanização fantástica. Parabéns chineses. Vocês são um exemplo para o mundo. Sigam em frente com sua evolução tecnológica e sua infraestrutura impecável.
@middlekingdomproductions u know, the western countries are the ones making the rules, stating which countries are developed and which are not, and I'm damn sure they'll never consider China as the most developed country.
No. Barely inside the top 50. 1 million Tibetan school children had to leave home for school . One reason. Appalling infrastructure. Any drinkable tep water yet?
@JohnSmith-sm7ez think about anything that makes a country to be considered developed and I'll tell that China has more of it and also has the largest & advanced.
I think that it’s visually beautiful and unique. I would be interested to learn more about how it could be improved to impede the flow of people better though ? 😁
I believe that it is important for future development to consider what kind of story we can draw as a town, rather than thinking in terms of a single facility. I think it would be better to describe it as town-integrated development, but there is a difference between a hub-and-spoke type and a network type. This facility doesn't seem to belong to either of those categories.
I think this place is built like this because it is on the outskirts of the city and was a hub and event space for tourists and athletes during the Youth Olympic Games. Events were held nearby and the athletes village is here so I guess it wasn’t designed for people to flow through in the same way? Very interesting though, I hadn’t thought about it. I think the visual diversity offered by designs like this can be a good thing.
Well, maybe it's because I'm Japanese that I feel that way. When I went to London and Amsterdam recently, I felt comfortable in terms of the scale of the cities.
I think Chinese cities are quite easy to navigate. Especially because they build upwards so much that there is a lot more ground space. I visit Tokyo recently and enjoyed it very much, it’s very different from China. I plan to make a video about the differences and similarities in the future. Where in Japan are you from? 😁
Looks very unique! Looks futuristic! If there is a Sci-Fi huge Enterprise outer space ship, China would be the first race to build it and this is one of the many design it will use. Even this design would fit right on the moon and Mars
Les pyramides d Égypte ne signifient plus rien devant les ouvrages étonnants de Chine qui vous laissent bouche- bée....c'est incroyable ce qu ils font 😮😮😮
I'm travelling at the moment, but I used to teach here. If you have a job here it's possible to get a residence permit while you have a work contract but it's not possible to become a citizen I don't think :)
Regardless of what we think of Xi, but he care enough to improve the lives of his people, unlike other dictators that live lavish life while their countrymen suffer.
😂 interesting comparison . I suppose such creative and out-there designs can easily divide opinions. I personally quite like the design and detail. It’s shaped like a yacht I think is the inspiration the architect had
It already looks worn out and ugly. Give 20 years and it will look super ugly. No symmetry, no natural materials, just built for the sake of being eccentric.

CHINA GOVERMENT SO CLEAN FROM CORRUPT & THEY POLICY ALWAYS FOR THEIR PEOPLES THATS WHY THEY GROWING SO FAST .. AMAZING & BRAVO CHINA 😊😅❤🎉
That's just because there is an accountability system and a real crackdown on corruption, not because not arresting is equivalent to not having it
But greed is human nature, it cannot be fully captured, and there must be some who slip through the net

Out of a futuristic movie ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
No due process is a disgrace to humanity. Read the 2022 UN report. Disappearing ministers a good thing? You like the policy of murdering colleagues?
I've seen some amazing buildings in China. But this hotel is one of the most magnificent buildings I've seen.
Yeah, it’s up there with the best of buildings I’ve seen here in China 😁👍

No, western hotels are better than this. London has the most 5 star hotels globally. And better. More variety .

Thank you for another beautifully made video!
Wow! thank you very much!
Nanjing is an underrated city.
For sure. There are many underrated cities in China that nobody has even heard of 😂

OMG! the architecture is stunning! Spend one day over there is a kind of enjoyment!
Yeah there’s a lot of amazing architecture in most Chinese cities.
What a beautiful design.
It is!
I think China is the most developed country, though, everywhere Provence, city and region are developed, I've never seen that in any country.
Yeah it definitely is. The infrastructure here in so many cities and across such a big country is unbelievable!
@middlekingdomproductions u know, the western countries are the ones making the rules, stating which countries are developed and which are not, and I'm damn sure they'll never consider China as the most developed country.

Yeah, I like it.
When did you film this?😮
I took most of the clips a few hours ago
Looks like a scene straight out of syfy movie.
It does !
it look futuristic with white color ... but it is hard to keep it white and look clean...
Yh white clothing is hard to keep clean, I guess the same applies! 😂 I’m sure they have ways of cleaning it though.
this hotel is master piece of art! blow my mind!
Yeah this place is very cool 👍
😮😮😮😍😍👍
If you think that a facility design that impedes the flow of people like this is truly excellent, there's nothing you can do about it.
I think that it’s visually beautiful and unique. I would be interested to learn more about how it could be improved to impede the flow of people better though ? 😁

It’s a great area to live ! Do you live in the olympic village apartments ?
@middlekingdomproductions Not there, about 3 kilometres from there, next to the Hexi urban eco park.
I know Hexi, I lived near the Olympic Stadium for a few years. I really like that area and the Green expo gardens etc nearby.

Yeah some of the infrastructure and buildings here is incredible ! And the sheer number of them in different cities too.
Reminds me of styrofoam food to go boxes with holes cut out of them
how to immigrate to china? can you become a chinese citizen
I'm travelling at the moment, but I used to teach here. If you have a job here it's possible to get a residence permit while you have a work contract but it's not possible to become a citizen I don't think :)
Sure, unless you are a scientist, a big capitalist like Musk, or have made outstanding contributions to society
China gets more amazing while America’s major cities subside into dystopia! Lord have mercy!
Regardless of what we think of Xi, but he care enough to improve the lives of his people, unlike other dictators that live lavish life while their countrymen suffer.

buildings FEW Chinese Citizens could ever afford to stay.
I think you don’t understand how many millions of wealthy Chinese people there are. Also the price of hotels here is reasonable.
