    China is an ancient civilisation with 5000 Plus years of history. But it doesn’t live in the past. It moves forward into post modernity living in the future. Such an amazing hotel , which surpasses anything in the west. If only western governments focus their efforts to develop their own infrastructure, instead of wars and sanctions on their adversaries, will the world be a more peaceful place.

    • @kaleeysmith8801
      @kaleeysmith8801 Месяц назад

      if you force countries to develop their military to defend themselves, after you threaten to attack them and regime change them, then yes the wst has adversaries. ROFL making enemies out of people, and then blaming people for being enemies, is ludriciously stup1d.

    • @JohnSmith-sm7ez
      @JohnSmith-sm7ez 20 дней назад

      No, western hotels are better than this. London has the most 5 star hotels globally. And better. More variety .

    • @JohnSmith-sm7ez
      @JohnSmith-sm7ez 20 дней назад

      They do develop their own infrastructure. These places have more internet access, better hospitals, better stadiums, better tsp water, better life expectancies, better universities, better theatres, better music venues, more airports and normally on time , unlike the worst globally , China. Better trains in China . Great. And better light shows at night.

    • @JohnSmith-sm7ez
      @JohnSmith-sm7ez 20 дней назад

      Most peaceful in history right now . US rebuilt countries after the war . Still a disgrace overall . Cyber attacks is war and China are champions. China has a global slave empire, Poor kids down mines 20 hrs a day , getting resources for China. Any news on covid cover up yet, 5 yrs later and WHO still demanding answers.
      Biggest and fastest military build up in history from China. Stop selling missile parts to war crimes Russia please. No to war. Whataboutisms bore me.

    If you think that a facility design that impedes the flow of people like this is truly excellent, there's nothing you can do about it.

    • @middlekingdomproductions
      @middlekingdomproductions  Месяц назад

      I think that it’s visually beautiful and unique. I would be interested to learn more about how it could be improved to impede the flow of people better though ? 😁

    • @ノブゾウ
      @ノブゾウ Месяц назад +1

      I believe that it is important for future development to consider what kind of story we can draw as a town, rather than thinking in terms of a single facility.
      I think it would be better to describe it as town-integrated development, but there is a difference between a hub-and-spoke type and a network type.
      This facility doesn't seem to belong to either of those categories.

    • @middlekingdomproductions
      @middlekingdomproductions  Месяц назад

      I think this place is built like this because it is on the outskirts of the city and was a hub and event space for tourists and athletes during the Youth Olympic Games. Events were held nearby and the athletes village is here so I guess it wasn’t designed for people to flow through in the same way? Very interesting though, I hadn’t thought about it. I think the visual diversity offered by designs like this can be a good thing.

    • @ノブゾウ
      @ノブゾウ Месяц назад +1

      Well, maybe it's because I'm Japanese that I feel that way.
      When I went to London and Amsterdam recently, I felt comfortable in terms of the scale of the cities.

    • @middlekingdomproductions
      @middlekingdomproductions  Месяц назад

      I think Chinese cities are quite easy to navigate. Especially because they build upwards so much that there is a lot more ground space. I visit Tokyo recently and enjoyed it very much, it’s very different from China. I plan to make a video about the differences and similarities in the future. Where in Japan are you from? 😁
