It is! Yeah I agree. , Some designs here do, the 1000 trees building I filmed in Shanghai has one traditional element and I think other buildings do but it’s often quite subtle.
China is on another level. I've always said it's as if they're trying to outdo itself when it comes to developments 😅❤. These buildings are just a small doses of all the spectacular infrastructures they have over there in China
Interesting architectures. The buildings got exterior wall sun shades. This allows large windows, smooth non-angular exterior shapes. Nanjing is sunny and central district views are great. This design makes sense.
Amazing hotel and surrounding buildings, so modern, and futuristic. Nanjing and Chinese cities in general are on another level compared to the west. It Makes New York , Paris , London , and Sydney look outdated. Western governments , in particular the USA, should follow Chinese governments approach and focus upon improving their own countries infrastructure. Instead of spending time and money on foreign wars.

Yeah, some apartments seem to have a clear view and others are obstructed. Would be interesting to see, perhaps it looks cool from inside and I guess it affects the light shining into the room, creating different shadows etc.
@@middlekingdomproductions As Holiday Inn is a hotel, I would think guests prefer windows with views. Similarly for the other blocks, I am sure their views and room brightness are affected. If only we could check from the inside if my observation is correct. Not that I will get to visit. Hahah.
Haha, yeah. If you go on the trip.com page I linked to below and click on photos, there are a few photos of rooms with a clear view out. I can’t see any guest photos showing the view though. If I have a chance, next time I’m in that area I’ll see if I can take a look
I think all the apartments looked like people live in them so I’m guessing 10’s of thousands live in that area. It’s the middle of winter in the middle of a work day so I’d guess people were working or indoors. It gets much busier on weekends and when the weathers better.

China can't seem to stop surprising people.
Very true!
BEAUTIFUL CITY ... AMAZING CHINA 😊🎉
Yeah Nanjing is a nice city
Very futuristic indeed! I wish future design should incorporate some element of traditional characteristics ! Thank you for sharing.

Yeah it’s a cool place 😁 There are some cool buildings in London but nothing like the number of incredible futuristic designs here in China
😀😀😀
Which area in Nanjing is this? I would like to visit.
It directly beside Nanjing South Railway station. The link in the description will take you to the hotel trip.com page with an address on it 👍

Very unique architecture. But all those external structures would obstruct the views looking out, wouldn't they?

It was not gonna be possible if it wasn't for cheap labour and no strict labour laws.
I bet those cheap Chinese labourers are living a better life than their American counterparts. LOL

The whole area looks extremely modern and beautiful.
Yeah, it is
