As much as I've enjoyed your list there's a lot of flaws with it. A number of your projects will not be completed in 2025 and there is zero intentions of them completing in 2025. The first on the list would be the one in Toronto that has been on hold for over a year now.

Another reason the Gordie Howe bridge is delayed and expensive is that the owner of the only other bridge connecting Detriot and Windsor did everything in his power to delay and disrupt this competition. He wanted to keep his monopoly

As I understand it…. Canada has to pay for the land acquisition on both sides of the border (Ontario and Michigan), as well as putting in a new interchange to the highways on both sides. Canada is also putting up all the money for the project construction and 30 years of maintenance is paid for by Canada during the building period. Then after years and yearrrrrs when they finally get their money back from tolls (if ever) THEN… they split the profits with the state of Michigan.
Now… #1 I’m Canadian so I may be bias and #2 I found some of the contract difficult to interpret (So if I’m wrong tell me. It would make me feel better) but it sure sounds like once again Canada gets the short end.

One major factor behind the delays and high costs of the Gordie Howe Bridge is the relentless efforts of the owner of the only existing bridge between Detroit and Windsor to obstruct and sabotage the project, all to maintain his monopoly
