  • Our first installation of our new Ohmm® Mini bitcoin mining datacenter!
This unit is installed on a producing oil well in Alberta, Canada. The excess casing gas which would otherwise have been vented or flared is consumed by the engine to run the Mini, which has a capacity of 50 kW. The producer added a thru-shaft alternator to engine which was running a hydraulic pump, the alternator powers the Ohmm bitcoin mining datacenter.
Steve takes you on a brief and candid tour of the facility.

What's with the multiple 1,000 gallon propane tanks on site?

my guess is compressing some of the gas to use for drying crops or home use. Won't have the energy density of straight propane but it will do.
