Thanks for sharing this Steve.
Freaking awesome. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!
nice work guys, this is awesome! Super Inspiring as well!
This is pretty cool. Good idea! Great even.
Great to see.
Nice! I would like to get into this, do you guys need any boots on the ground in central TX ?
Newbie here. How did you acquire your well and how much did the skid separator cost? Thank you. So much to learn.
Buenísimo 😊
awesome project / idea
The well is free flowing, right?
I don't see any artificial lifts of any sort. Also, what's your pressure going to the generator? Thanks!
Very nice
What genset is that? I wonder if an operation like this could run on biomass from farm animal manure.
bad ass!
Awesome , a few km from my house , natural gas burns 24 hours 365 days ... Lool
Hey what is the minimum input (psi or kw) for these generators. You said you have a 400psi well, that is a lot.
The 50kw engine uses ~15mcf/day
WoW 🤩
How many mcf does this size operation need on a daily basis? Thanks for sharing!
15mcf/day for a 50kw engine.
I always like stumbling across people's out of the box ideas. There are many natural gas wells drilled and capped waiting for use. This is a great way to use them without jumping on existing grid infrastructure. Its a double win. I would ask one thing, how do you assure internet service? I am guessing this one is close to a populated area since I see roads. Just curious.
These huts can be outfitted with a cellular antenna. You drop a SIM card in and can get 3G service.
@@upstreamdatainc How much Bitcoin do you mine on average?
Can you recommend where Ii can I search for stranded natural gas wells?
Pretty tough to source. You have to typically know someone in the industry who knows your area.
That’s pretty fuckin cool.
How much gas (ft^3/day) are you getting off that well?
Our 50kw engine uses ~15mcf/day
Curious child there, 1) How well does the engine manage sulphur content in gas? 2) would retired turboprop engine make $ sense for this? Father's friend has dozens of retired 700hp m601 turbines in hangar, but even tho most of them could be potentionally brought to life for non-aviation purpose, its market value is basically scrap.
What state are they located in?
How are you communicating the network? Blockstream satellites?
3G cell antenna.
Any security on site?
I have a brand new natural gas 1MW Genset that would be perfect for this.
what do you mean by stranded? that you’re mining on a land where you’re not supposed ti mine?
This means there is no market for the gas, i.e., pipeline close enough
0:28 , that regulator needs to be re-clocked so the vent faces down.
I’m I the only one to spot the late model small block Chevy?
FUCKIN AWESOME!!!!
LFG!!!
so jealous
Dude can I come work for you? Lol
The polluting machine
I'd love to work on an operation like that. I build and manage my own rigs already. I'd be happy in a well stocked bunk house for months on end aslong as something like Starlink was included. I'd help squeeze in as many racks as possible for a reasonable share of the coin. Hit me up. I'm in Edmonton.
Hey mate, I’m based in London about to startup an operation, could use a man with your expertise. Where can I contact you?
Can normies capture stranded energy & mine bitcoin.?
If you have no experience in oil and gas, I'd suggest finding someone to partner with.
@@upstreamdatainc where would I even start?
Sorry but it is such a bad idea to combine your power generation and mining in that same tight building. You guys are begging for a disaster.
I agree, it gives me pain.
