Seeing this, makes me realize that Five Night At Wario’s is more interesting than I initially thought, it’s not just a Fnaf clone with copyrighted characters, it’s a full blown new series of games inspired by what the creator loved about them both!
It's so awesome to see that the creator still cares for it but it frightens me that the part 1 of the explained series by him (the only one uploaded rn) is like one and a half hours long
i’m actually glad i’m not the only one who always liked the visuals of this game. whether they’re particularly creative or original could be debated but wwwwario definitely chose some interesting photos to use for each room. this game almost kind of did liminal spaces in horror before it was cool
The lore you told was the outdated version. There’s a new video on the updated version. But anyway, I’m really glad to see attention given to this great fnaf fan series. I hope to see more!
I mentioned at the end, this is the old version of the lore back when these games had just came out. I wanted to tell the pre-update story of FNAW before the remasters, Shows etc, because that was how I and the general population experienced these games. I wrote this before the video came out, so my apologies.
While FNaW was never my favourite fangame, when compared to the greats such as those that got into the Fanverse, DSaF, FNaFb, Final Nights, or ASoF, it was always quite disappointing to see people dismiss them based purely on their visuals. It's definitely substance over flair. While it may not look like it at first glance, the gameplay is really well fleshed out and actually kinda fun. As for the story, I mean, it's dumb, obviously, but fun in a comedic sense.
I do like the sort of choose your own adventure kind if thing where you not only select where you want to hide, but the mechanics also change based off of where you hide. I find that pretty cool
Five Nights at Wario's is a forgotten and charming classic. It's a surprising banger of a story that is deep and mysterious. And better yet, it's genuinely scary and challenging.
FNAW was one of my favorite Fnaf fan games. I even tried to pay WWWWario to make a Fnaf fan game for me, but it seemed to never work out, because the poor guy is busy as it is. He is a friendly guy, and I hope he's doing good.
Loved this :) it’s always nice to see someone give one of the FNAW sequels a second chance without spending too much time hating the graphics style lol
Five Nights at Wario's has a big community, and a ton of fangames ever since the 2.0 versions came out, and it's not hard to see why. The story of FNAW is not only really interesting, but it's premise leads to so many creative stories and gameplay. There's also the fact the I think the Photoshop look somehow creates an atmosphere that is only rivaled by FNAF 1. There's also the fact that the ghost possess their dead bodies allows for much more creepy movement.
Happy to see this being talked about, I never forgot about this series. This was one of the biggest fangame franchises back in the day, and it's very nostalgic to me. It's got very charming, if slightly cheap visuals, creative mechanics, and a decently riveting story. Always loved these games, very iconic. Edit: I, surprisingly, had not heard about the latest game. This'll be fun :).
The thing I love about Fnaw is it trades the quality visuals for gameplay. It has a lot of variety, good spooks and has the fresh taste of old fan games that were made with love. I love the Fnaw series and it’s fanbase no matter how low Fnaf gets
My favorite fnaf fangame and a damn good series it belongs to. Andy (WWWario) is an absolute legend fir using his games to innovate and inspire with his brilliant mechanics. Also the story is one of the most complicated yet satisfying of them all, with a primitive but charming and very unique visual design and some amazing designs later. Great work snowing how great warios 3 and therefore the whole game and that it is NOWHERE NEAR as bad as a lot if people say it is.
Call me a nerve freak if you want, but it deeply upsets me that this fan game is considered "forgotten", this game is so good... The story is well written (ironically unlike it's gameplay source material.), it's scary (despite involving Nintendo characters...), it's creative (this is proven a lot in the third installment.), the creator is involved in ZERO controversy. Fnaw is peak perfection...
I always wondered what the connection to the wider Mario series was with this, or if it was just mario characters for no reason. It makes me wonder things like, why did Bowser get involved in all of this when he realistically would have just taken this as a chance to do his usual world domination stuff. Where was E.Gadd in all of this, hes the ghost expert of the mushroom kingdom, he would likely be all over this. And what about all the original people, are they humans? toads? something else? Am i thinking too hard on a fangame's connection to the wider mario lore? More than likely.
I didn't even know Five Nights at Wario's was such an overlooked game but that's probably cause I've been a fan of the creator since before FNAF even existed.
While I do enjoy games like Popgoes and Candy's, it's always nice to hear people talk about the fangames that just get brushed over simply because it's just *franchise goes here* but fnaf.
I actually remembered this back in the day when they first came out, even if you still asked me in 2022 with no context “do you know a game called Five Nights at Wario’s”, then I would say “well yeah, but at the same time that’s just because you brought it up, if I had to think specifically of this game that woulda never happened.” Well, were it not for this video anyway. Great video by the way!
I have to say i loved this so much not only did it give more variety then wario 2 did but the whole atmosphere was unique you choosing were to go really makes you think of what you can do to hide or repel like you actually do when there is danger which i love so much since you are usually stuck with one place with set defenses
I've always loved FNAW, it's an incredible inspiration, and it's also genuinely terrifying. The story is great, the game nails the creep factor across the board, the gameplay for each game just gets better and better. It's my favorite FNAF fangame series of all time, with Five Shows Director's Cut being my favorite FNAF fangame. Plus, the amount of fan games of the fan game series really speaks volumes. Glad to see it get some more appreciation! Also, I have so many fond memories of this game in particular, such as downloading it but being too big of a scaredy to play it way back when. It's held up so well it's unreal.
Life was normal in the mushroom kingdom until the curse created clones of the original 5 called the VIRUS was let out and wreaked havoc around the kingdom killing all they saw Also the cellar night is part of the Factory and not the house, otherwise Max’s team would’ve found it and told Edward what to do. As for the one playthrough, the curse had to grow stronger with the decaying bodies it had left. The music box pieces manifested after several more time loops.
I remember watching playthroughs of this years ago and being fascinated by the mechanics and story. I myself loved how the third game gave you the option to chose where to go each night, giving some great replay value.
i found out about this game when taste played it and other than that i never heard of the series so I'm glad someone else acknowledged how good the game is.
I remember when all these games were coming out back in 2014 and 2015 it makes me happy that older fnaf fangames are getting the attention they deserve.
While I can say that this game doesn't seem to have aged as well compared to others, I can still say that this is one of my favorite FNAF fan games of all time. What I especially loved where the solid amount of fan games that were even centered around FNAW 3 and it's "New Night, New Room" formula, making the gameplay not as stale.
awesome video, its sad seeing how much people hate this game just because of the visuals not being 3d ultra hd 4k, most people that say its shit probably didnt even play the games, even if the images are just ripped from google images they still look pretty fitting and scary

YESSSSS im so glad someone else loved this game! i always found the visuals so charming and you can just feel the love and attention the creator put into this game!
There is another underrated fnaf fangame series called five nights at sonics. It has its own lore and all of that. The first one is just fnaf one but drawn with clickteam fusion. Same with the second one The 3rd one has withered toy animatronics that can also end the night, like salvage(springtrap) The fourth one is in the fnas one location And the 5th is in the first ever hero palace (basically fnaf pizzeria)
I think you should try making an update video on the FNaW series. Each game has gotten numerous updates, even FNaW 1, adding new modes, and more or less doubling the content of each game. It’s nuts! Every FNaW game is even cross-compatible too, with Five Shows at Wario’s having a night where you have to have both FNaW 1 AND FSaW open at the same time, and it’s REALLY cool. I feel like these things deserve more attention because I haven’t seen any fan game do anything even remotely close to that.
The first 3 Wario's games I always loved, something about them made them so genuinely haunting to me. The 2nd one was the scariest in my opinion. To this day I can't quite explain why
I don't care what everybody says, but the five nights at Wario series is probably the most underrated Five nights at Freddy's fan game. FNaW 3, origins, 4 and Shows all are underrated, each with its unique gameplay mechanic that spices things up and makes the game so memorable to me. Thanks for making this video, you did a great job. Also, You should check out the newer updated version of the game, it added new features to the mix.
I found FNaW and WWWario (Through his Waluigi in SM64DS video) around the same time and it wasn’t until much other I found out he actually made the FNaW series. And that gives me a whole new appreciation for both him and his games
The FNaW series is a lot better than what some people might say, especially 3, 4, Origins, and shows are all very good, if there is anyone on RUclips that knows this best is The Game Salmon
Forgotten? Mate I just watched a full 1 hour story explained video by the creator, and holy frick was that a mind blowing experience, actually I watched the original version which is closer to how you explained it, and the new version which is slightly altered, I didn’t know Donkey Kong was in the game because they were the one character the creator didn’t explain at all Edit: Just noticed that when he’s explaining the lore he’s using the same slightly depressing background music
Donkey Kong Is an hallucination from the pills in fnaw 3 which Means donkey Kong never existed in the series, hell the updated story never mentioned him
I feel like if markiplier had played the 3rd game instead of leaving it at the 1st, the popularity could've genuinely changed the game for the better or worse. But he never did, and so we'll never know.
I'm pretty sure Mark played the second game, and just didn't continue the series after the 1st or 2nd night. I could be wrong however, that's just what I recall.
I remembered watching the lore video made BY WWWwario, and I was very intrigued. Forgot about the game, them stumbled upon this video. Thanks for reminding me of those memories that I obviously won't forget again.
I remember this fangame to this day, the lower graphics were the reason I used to be so scared of it, when I was younger, it was the low quality/obscure games that scared me the most, I don't know why.
WWWwario actually released part 1 of a 2 part series explaining the entire lore which is even more complex than what was explained here. It involves time travel, split timelines, alternate paths, and much more.
FNAWs is still being worked, on last year (FSAWs) it got a new game all the games of the line were updated due to lore reasons. WwwWario recently put a 2 part, 4 hour video of FNAW lore in chronological order and dramatically narrated. He literally posted the video Yesterday.
Dude I remembered this game today and looked it up for nostalgia then found this video I remembered it because every time I get scared for whatever reason and close my eyes I see random images from this game, I saw someone play it when I was extremely young and couldn't get the images out of my head ever since then This game was able to do something no FNAF game could do as a kid and that's scare me, that's pretty funny because of how bad the assets are but still this game will always have a special place in my heart
I remember loving the first fnaw game. Honestly I have no idea why, I still liked mario and the games owning some of them but I wasn’t overly invested. Guess there was just something about this game, I think it was the story, it was interesting and sPoOkY
One of my favorite fan game (if you can even call it that) is called Cluck Hatred Escape from the Planet of The Poultroid. I had a story and art style that felt like the old Racist and Clank.
Five Shows at Wario has so much content it would make for an interesting video The two games fnaw games playing at once in a specific night in the factory mode was just so 😦
i know this is a late and somewhat random comment, but there's something to charming about using names in FNAF Fan Games (and to an extent, Im on Observation Duty) since like they're just normal names anybody could have.
Yoooo that's old lore now FNAWs got a new game last year Five Shows at Warios which continues with the soul of Bruno Gate being dragged on to Gray City and learning about the true nature of the Curse and other stuff. Recently WwwWario made new videos about the lore and updated all of his games in FNAWs line.
FNaW certainly deserves a spot in 'most well known/classic FNaF fan games', maybe not 'best', but I think it at least deserves 'most well know/classic'.
In the recent days, I've heard WAY LESS people talk about Five Nights at Pinkie's than with Five Nights at Wario's. It was pretty popular at the time of its release, but nobody really talks about it anymore, and that's probably because its concept is really outdated. It's literally just FNaF 1 but My Little Pony, and the other games from the series don't look much better either...
in what way is FNAW forgotten, it is quite literally one of the largest sub-communities within the fnaf community, right beside Five Nights at Sonics (this is pre-viewing of video so you might have brought this a light)
FNAW is one of the best fan games in my opinion. It’s so amazing that people making fan games of the fan game is awesome! FNAW 3 was definitely my favorite in the series.
"forever made me fear the color yellow" so, I thought about this too long and now I cant help but wonder what happens in the bathroom, if you catch my drift...
Did this man just call fnaw 3 forgotten damn I remember this game like the back of my hand and plus there's so many fnaw fangames about fnaw 3 this game ain't no hidden gem
“I will admit, playing this at night with a turtle and a pasta monster made me a little spooked out”
What a quote

Dude I remembered this game today and looked it up for nostalgia then found this video
I remembered it because every time I get scared for whatever reason and close my eyes I see random images from this game, I saw someone play it when I was extremely young and couldn't get the images out of my head ever since then
This game was able to do something no FNAF game could do as a kid and that's scare me, that's pretty funny because of how bad the assets are but still this game will always have a special place in my heart
If nintendo shuts this fan game down, let’s attack them to show who they are messing with which fandom
I remember loving the first fnaw game. Honestly I have no idea why, I still liked mario and the games owning some of them but I wasn’t overly invested. Guess there was just something about this game, I think it was the story, it was interesting and sPoOkY
I definitely wouldn't say its forgotten
id like to see one day a pastra video on the fnaw games too
Finally FNaW is so awesome I love that you talked about this fan series I really loved FNaW
One of my favorite fan game (if you can even call it that) is called Cluck Hatred Escape from the Planet of The Poultroid. I had a story and art style that felt like the old Racist and Clank.
Cluck Yegger
I hate autocorrect sometimes.
I never forgot it. It has been a memory for a while.
you should check out the newest entre in the series
its called five shows at warios and its really good
anyways nice video
I always loved this fan game. It's one of me favs.
This game has a always been in the back of my head ever since I was in 2nd grade
Five Shows at Wario has so much content it would make for an interesting video
The two games fnaw games playing at once in a specific night in the factory mode was just so 😦
i know this is a late and somewhat random comment, but there's something to charming about using names in FNAF Fan Games (and to an extent, Im on Observation Duty) since like they're just normal names anybody could have.
Why hello there, Mr.Springs brought me here. Pretty good video.
not me being invested in this fan game series
literally same tho
if fnaw wasn't liceansed it would totally go somewhere in the fanverse. Maybe as a tag of "papercut"
And jolly 4 would be in the fanverse if it wasn't based on a real animatronics fast food chain
I always remembered fnawario's legacy, i just never understood the lore behind it so thank you.
I never forgot this game. I must be a true fnaf fan game fan
"forever made me fear the color yellow"
so, I thought about this too long and now I cant help but wonder what happens in the bathroom, if you catch my drift...
*emotionally scarring*
FnaW was a game I remember downloading on my school computer and playing it
This is the greatest FNaF fan game of all time
I haven’t forgotten about this fangame
Five shows at wario's, i say, has a better version of the room change mechanic in the exit
Did this man just call fnaw 3 forgotten damn I remember this game like the back of my hand and plus there's so many fnaw fangames about fnaw 3 this game ain't no hidden gem
