I'll say it again and again You both are simply Adorable. The million dollar highway is beautiful. Although the road looks terrifying even in the summer. Jimmy you did a excellent job driving and Natalie you did a Wonderful job showing us all the beautiful mountains and trails. Those waterfalls were Amazing. Thank you both for sharing your adventures with us. Love, Respect and Blessings.
I'm so glad you have Pancake and she is doing so well in the cold. I'm glad you went back to Silverton. Love y'all! Thanks for bringing us along...stay safe! ❤️🙏from SC Colorado is so beautiful!
Ouray has always been my favorite place in the U.S.!! And I love Durango and Silverton- the railroad is so fun and the towns are gorgeous. So glad you got to experience it all and then shared it with us.
Love how sensible and cautious Natalie is with Jimmy doing stuff. If she had kids they would be wrapped up in cotton wool and be totally safe. My wife is the same and kids use to do stuff to get to reactions out of her.
Wow! You two were sort of easing into van life, but now you're doing it with a capital V! Have watched other videos on the Million Dollar Highway, but so enjoyed your different take on it. Pardon me Jimmy, but, Natalie, while you've been awesome in past videos, you're blossoming now! You go girl!
Ouray is where the singer C.W. McCall lived until he recently passed away. It also is where much of the original John Wayne version of True Grit was filmed.
Now there is one more place on my bucket list: Durango, CO. You guys make my Mondays. I am too old to take on the nomadic life, so I am vicariously enjoying it through you guys. You make it look so much fun.
We are 77 and our trip this fall was over 2,600 miles from Colorado through Wyoming, Idaho, Montana. A weather change was coming, so we turned around, went back through Idaho (a different route) and Utah, back to our home at 10,000’ in Colorado. We arrived home 10 hours before the storm hit. We love our country and all of the natural sites to see. Jimmy and Natalie are doing a fantastic job of showing all the beautiful parts of our Country. Keep it up Kids!
I'm happy for y'all to be able to get out and enjoy the snow and CO mountains. Its been a while since I've passed through that area. I have to say I am a little jealous watching y'all explore with your van all fixed up and usable. I have taken on a daunting project to restore a 1985 Dodge camper van that was in pretty bad shape inside due to water leaks. As of just a couple days ago, I think I have finally sealed up all the roof leaks, and can start working on rebuilding the interior. Its a bit overwhelming as I am doing most of the work alone. I am excited to see you guys getting out there and enjoying your new van home. It looks fantastic, and you guys did such a nice job, and quickly. I've had my van since April of 22, and still have a long way to go to make it road worthy and usable for camping.
Good morning Jimmy and Natalie 🙏💕 The time you spend doing what you were put here to do, is the best part of living. Good for you both for doing it. We only have a few years of living life, at its fullest potential ✨ 100 years of ones life is what we have, normally. Soooooo, live it, be it, jump into it! The longer we wait for our retirement, our vacation times, ect the longer we have to wait to explore, experience and live in the now. Be here now! Love you both very much 💕
Those drop-offs looked terrifying, esp on icy roads! Great video, wonderful scenery, cute towns, and you guys are adorable. Enjoyed watching you play in the snow. Have a great week, and safe travels!
Million Dollar Highway is literally in my backyard. I live in Cortez, just 1.5 hours west of Durango. This whole region is awesome. You could spend months in the Four Corners and have an awesome time. Some of the most jaw dropping red rock is in this area.
Your Southern East coast-ness is showing! So cute! Better advice about road conditions and driving - use the speed that the weather dictates, not the advised speed on the signs. Mountain driving is so beautiful!
We grew up near there in San Miguel County. We used to go to Ouray on weekends to the hot springs. Then numerous times went over the pass on the million dollar high way. Thanks for sharing
I love your channel! I spent the very brief summer boondocking up in Leadville, CO and am now head over heels for the mountains, rivers, streams and wildlife out there. I only have a Hyundai SUV, so room is very limited, yet I have everything I needed. As a flatlander here in Texas, my first trip there was a dream come true. My best to you both and very happy travels!
My husband and I were in Ouray for the 4th of July a few years ago and the sounds of fireworks bouncing off the mountains was fantastic. We went on the same trip you just took and I loved it!
Thanks for sharing a bucket list item for me. My grandmother was born in Silverton in 1898 and her parents are buried there. I would love to visit the area that meant so much to her. Thank you for sharing your trip through the area.
I did the million dollar highway with a friend on our motorcycles. It was stunning. At parts, you could smell the pine in the air. Colorado in the Rockies is one giant post card, beauty and grandeur in every direction you look. Looks like pancake rocked it!!
Wow, what a wonderful adventure. Now I have added the Million Dollar Highway to our list of places to travel. Thank you for sharing. Have fun and stay safe out there! ❤❤❤
Hey there Jimmy and Natalie. You made it to Colorado very cold there right now. ..its nice to see you guys enjoying the outdoors and all the Cool places 😎 you guys are fun to watch thanks for all your videos we enjoyed watching you guys. Enjoy every minute of traveling. Stay safe out there on the roads 😊 Take care God bless. 🏞🏞🏞🏞🏞
I live in Durango. I'm 5th generation. The million dollar highway is my favorite drive! It's amazing! The best part of the drive is from Silverton to Ouray...
Little simple trick when you want to defog and defrost your windows , crack them open on both sides so the humidity have somewhere to go , it will take 1/3 of the time it takes compared to when the windows are closed and of course it goes faster when you're moving cause the engine gets hotter and always be aware of black ice , love u guys.. oh and you look good with red cheeks and nose ! ❄👃🤗👍
Thanks for doing all the things us older people would like to be out there doing but can instead live through your adventures. So love your channel cause it’s so upbeat and fun. Your relationship shines! 💕
Very interesting watching someone experience this road for the first time, I've been driving that highway for over 20 years. Treacherous in the winter in a semi but one of my favorites
Oh man, your videos are so awesome! I've been watching you since you first started your bus build; we were working on ours at the same time. We went from Southern Ontario out West this summer and would've been in Banff area at the same time as you if your plans didn't change. We miss the Rockies SO much, and your videos are taking me right back there. The quality video you capture is breathtaking and actually leaves me in tears because I understand all the beauty you are able to capture, and how a video just doesn't do it justice (your editing is on point too!!). I knew I missed the views since we've been back for 2 months, but you're giving me the travel bug again and I want to be back on the road ASAP! You two are the cutest and my favourite bus (van) lifers on RUclips. Thanks for bringing us along on your adventures, you truly make us feel like we are there experiencing it all with you!
Great video!!! Looks beautiful!!! I wanted to share a tip we got from a friend: Snow spikes!!! We borrowed some for our trip to Rocky Mountain NP and couldn’t believe how fun and easy they made hiking in the snow and ice! We bought our own afterwards for $25 a pair on Amazon. The cheap ones do the trick just fine. They pack super small and are so worth the money. Keep up the fun videos. You two are the sweetest!
Sorry, I’m a month behind on RUclips but this mad me smile. I see you’re near me in CA in the current videos, I’ll get to those next. Missed you two. Going through a breakup and a channel name change next. My 85% completed van was put on hold while I dealt with trauma from the breakup and a car accident. Thanks for giving me a smile after 7 weeks of sadness. ~A
The Million Dollar Highway was built in the 1880s as a toll road by Otto Mears to serve the mining communities in the mountains. It’s 25 miles long part of Highway 550 whose 230 mile length is known as the San Juan scenic skyway. It was paved in the 1920s but they can’t put guard rails on it as the snow plows need to push the snow off the road to keep it open. It got its name either owing to the cost of construction or as the joke goes because “you’d need to pay me a million dollars to drive it.” Locals pronounce Ouray as “ooh-ray.”
I just realized I've been to Colorado countless times, but always in the summer for some reason! I'm so motivated to visit in Autumn now. It's a totally different experience! The footage in Eureka was giving off Blair Witch vibes, haha.
This was such an awesome video!! The views and drone shots were incredible!!!! The snow just makes it even more beautiful!!! I’m going to have to add this trip to my list!!! Jimmy, try ice skating in January/February. You may have better luck!! Lol
Natalie, Amazon, camping world, General Rv or any Rv camping store sell’s these colanders & strainers that are collapsible and store flat. They will fit into a silverware drawer or pot and pan drawer or any small space.
WOW!!! Great video!!! I love, love, love snow!!! Great scenery, interesting stuff to see and hear about, and I didn't have to slip and fall once!!! That is the one thing about snow and ice that I dont like!!! That's why snowmen and women have no legs...they know they'll just end up on their butts anyway!!! Lol Be careful punkins!!! And watch out for bears and mountain lions!!! (Bears might be in hibernation now) dont know if mt. Lions hibernate, but if they don't, ...they'll likely be extra hungry in winter. ( just speaking from my own Donna logic, I really know nothing about it, lol ) Enjoy yourselves!!! Safe and happy travels!!!! 🍃🤗🍃

And beautiful sandy beaches in the summer. Best time there is off seasons. At 6500 feet elevation the air is wonderful. Check out Tahoe City, Cal Neva Lodge, located half in California half in Nevada States. Much more to do.
I used to live in a resort area called Incline Village by Lake Tahoe in Nevada. It was the most beautiful alpine lake in the world. Look it up on RUclips. Anyway, during Fall and Spring was slow time. Summer and Winter, tons of people and roads jammed with people, just crazy. So I know what you were talking about. Wonderful video, love 💕 you guys, hope you sell bus soon.
Great photography!! Great drone shots ...you guys are a fun couple but.......I got so cold watching all that snow and ice ...I had to put on a sweatshirt. Brrrr🥶 thank you for another great adventure. ❤️❤️
If you like falls. You will need to come up by Duluth, MN area. Over in WI east of Superior we have American falls and South of Superior Pattison park. You have to take trip north shore Duluth to the Canadian border. Beautiful falls Grand Portage park. At the border. Then of course about half way up you have Gooseberry falls. 2 light houses Split rock and Two Harbors. Then let's not forget Ely, MN. Can be a little rough in the Winter time but we still love it
Rode from my home in Dallas on a motorcycle --- Million Dollar Highway was just as you describe. VERY scary to glance over to see no guard rail and just the tops of 100' plus tall trees. Not for the faint of heart. Need full attention to the road. Thanks for bringing back fond memories to this old man.
Wow that was beautiful. That was a great video. I really appreciate you sharing this video. I'm a farmer's helper don't have time for vacation. So the things you share with us are things I'll never get to experience in life. So with you and Jimmy I'll get to see things I never knew about. And as well Jimmy's mom and dad share great videos with us too! Thank you both for sharing with us!!
We bought our Sprinter from a couple in Durango. That trip is beautiful. Fingers crossed your gas heater is trouble free.they don’t like altitude changes much. Thanks for the vid.
Loved it!! Never been on the road in the Winter time We have been on that ride on our Motorcycles in the Summer and you will Love it. So different. Thanks for Sharing.
You guys are doing what many of us would like to do. Fixed income puts a halt to all of that. We are taking our trips through you
I'll say it again and again You both are simply Adorable. The million dollar highway is beautiful. Although the road looks terrifying even in the summer. Jimmy you did a excellent job driving and Natalie you did a Wonderful job showing us all the beautiful mountains and trails. Those waterfalls were Amazing. Looks like y’all drove thru a real-live 3-D Bob Ross painting.

Called God's Country for a reason. (Durango here)
Two of the best people on RUclips! Love watching your adventures.

My brother in law drove snow plows on that highway for a winter. Definitely one of the most dangerous passes to work, but SOOOOO pretty.
Yeah Durango is our backyard, hoped you guys enjoyed that. Next summer go hiking, camping, fishing, river rafting!
My husband and I were in Ouray for the 4th of July a few years ago and the sounds of fireworks bouncing off the mountains was fantastic. We went on the same trip you just took and I loved it!
I lived in Durango for fifteen years. Love the drive along the million dollar highway.
I just LOVE the scenery you are showing us,
Thanks for sharing a bucket list item for me. My grandmother was born in Silverton in 1898 and her parents are buried there. I would love to visit the area that meant so much to her. Thank you for sharing your trip through the area.
Don't be afraid to crank the temp on that heater. Not only will you be warmer, but less chance of soot build up, especially at altitude.
I did the million dollar highway with a friend on our motorcycles. It was stunning. At parts, you could smell the pine in the air. Colorado in the Rockies is one giant post card, beauty and grandeur in every direction you look. Looks like pancake rocked it!!
You two are so adorable. The views were magical too
Jimmy made rocks sounds so interesting when explained how the rocks formed billions of years.
I live nearby. It's kind of a tradition to roll down the windows and honk the horn driving through the tunnels.
You people make my day enjoyable. I love to watch your videos!
Wow, what a wonderful adventure. Now I have added the Million Dollar Highway to our list of places to travel. Thank you for sharing. Have fun and stay safe out there! ❤❤❤

Those towns look like they should be on Christmas cards. You guys take the best trips with the best scenery. 😍😍
You are taking these videos to the next level. Great fun to watch as always!
I wish we could see more of your videos. But then again I know you need some quiet time together. You both Rock!!!!!
Drove that road in a snowstorm once...lots of wrecks...was glad to get over the mountains in one piece! 🤗
What beautiful scenery. Definitely worth a little shivering. 🥶
Natalie, you probably already know, but from where I sit, that
Boy adores you!
What a sweet town. Great video guys.
Wow what a beautiful drive❤️
Colorado is great place to be in the summer time to escape the heat. Love the mountains. :)
Aspens have an energy and smell. I love camping among them.

The Silverton train is nationally known as a tourist attraction. It is a narrow gauge steam powered train running from Durango to Silverton.
Great video!!! Looks beautiful!!! I wanted to share a tip we got from a friend: Snow spikes!!! Have you snow tyres on yet. ? Great scenery guys. 🍀😺😽😺🍀

Hey Friends! Happy Monday! Jane ❤️ 🙏
Amazing scenery 👌 the waterfall was stunning, roads had me leaning away from the edge 😳
🇦🇺🐨🦘
Great blog!
I did this drive, in white-out conditions as it was only me, and snow plows all the way to Durango. Very memorable! Ouray has an amazing huge hot spring with a huge swimming type pool.
Little Switzerland and the whole San Juan Mountains are my favorite in the whole country. This area is about 8 or 9 hours WSW od Denver by vehicle.
You two are there during the BEST time of year.....early snow. In the winter, where you are, it's about minus 20° Fahrenheit as the low and about 0° for the high...give or take a few degrees.
Your whole blog is top tier!
Hi guys another top video full of content and well informed stay safe out there guys
Good choice on traveling the million dollar highway in Colorado. Been all over Colorado and Ouray is hands down my favorite. Now I’m wanting to go back.
Beautiful views! Thank you for recording and uploading.
The views are breathtaking!
Joni said Colorado is the most beautiful place she's ever been. She said it looks like a postcard!
One of my favorite places on this planet. Thanks for an excellent vlog. Be safe.
The new European “Ram Promaster”, Fiat Ducato models have Keyless start ( thieves favourite), you are so lucky to have a good old fashioned key start.
I did almost the same exact trip several summers ago. Colorado in the summer is awesome. Great video!
Thanks for taking us along! Cool places literally and figuratively.
I drove from Durango to Ouray on October 25. You should put the dates in your videos. It looks like the snow cover is very similar to when I was there. When I got to Silverton it was 15 degrees!! Love your videos!!
Just now watching some of my videos I took on my trip, and noticed pancake parked in Silverton!! Can’t believe I was in the same place as you guys, and didn’t get to meet you. I’ve been watching ever since the bus build.
Very beautiful sites. Well worth it even in the cold. Safe travels.
Thank you for sharing your experiences with us!
You guys are BOSS and I love your music,.
Hey thanks so much!! 😄🎶
So fun to watch y'all in the snow while listening to my A/C turn on and off; It is 90 in Houston today!
Beautiful in the snow but the summer drive will still mesmerize you and Telluride will be a majestic treat. Camping reservations required in Telluride but you could always make it down to the Montrose Walmart if necessary. Great job! ❄️

Thank you for the best snow video that I have ever seen. Elaine from Queensland, Australia. Where it only snows in Stanthorpe.
If you have a diesel heater you should run it for shorter periods on Max to maintain it and minimize the soot build up..
Steamboat springs is a must see in fall but all seasons are superb! Go visit the Strawberry hotsprings. 🍓
Stayed overnight at the only bordello in Ouray. Fun times
