The $50,000 seriously surprised me. For the interior and general spec thats a really enticing option especially in comparison to the “luxury brands” that basically have the same quality but much smaller cars for the price point.
They look nice and that's hit. Their quality, like engines, don't last for shit.

@@TheBoyCalzone A warranty doesn't mean shit as to whether something actually fails or not. All it means is the company "might" help you out. Hyundai/KIA is notorious for doing everything they can to deny warranty claims. And, why such a long warranty? Because they need it as a selling point.
@@TheBoyCalzoneMany people have had issues with no loaner cars and no rental cars. So you will need a second car.

under the hood looks exactly the same to my dads 2010 santafe. really love that they still use this engine. good power and sounds nice for a family v6

one things for sure, you've the roads around Taylor to give the suspension an honest test and workout. I usually stay up around there for the Woodward cruise every year.

I’ve been seeing so many Tellurides around I just had to watch this review to see what the hype was about. Makes sense now, that’s a great vehicle. Love the Terra-cotta interior. Also, what was the song you played for the sound system test? I’ve heard it so many times but don’t know it’s name.

For a similar price point I agree. For some reason Mercedes takes longer to update their SUV’s, so the used market is always lagging.

The people who mention reliability obviously haven't been paying attention. Both Hyundai and Kia have been doing well on the most recent reliability charts. They are making great cars. They most certainly are making the best looking cars out there.
My friend is a mechanic at Kia. He’s got a lot of horror stories. Plus they have no loaner cars. So you need a second car when these are in shop.
Great looking and lots of options for your money. It’s a gamble in reliability. Great warranty though.
You do understand reliability charts are literally pay to play? Manufacturers pay the rating company to place their cars higher in the index. Don't get me wrong, Hyundai and Kia are killing it right now but to cluelessly make a point that these cars are actually reliable is a bit clownish. Forums and mechanics who OWN and WORK on these cars bash on the reliability of these cars. The only individuals who prop up the brand as reliable are either those who are youtubers and those who don't have experience owning them.

They changed the front grill..it looked better on the older 2022 model & what happened to the orange lights?white now..the orange was so cool.

I wonder how readable is digital cluster when sun is shining above horizont to your back.....These on-board devices should be position-able to fold them one or two inches any direction into non-reflecting angle like RW mirror used to be...
...this is good alternative SUV to Pacifica MPV if you have relevant use for ground-clearance, cross-over caps and 3rd row room is enough...cool thing is you can have rasonable 18" rims with propper 60% side-wall tires....the only limited color options are a bit dissapointing....some light tones of jolly metalic colors would be nice option....like azure blue or avocado green....

The look is very appealing…in person the materials feel cheap ish still. I tried to shop this over the X5 with a similar interior color and the difference was obvious …I wish Kia wrapped the top of the dash in vinyl atleast.
It's funny because I see Asians driving unreliable German cars while others driving reliable Asian cars.
BMW doesn't last beyond 3 to 5 years max before everything falls apart. Quality? No. German cars are all cheap plastics and just don't last.

The 2024 Telluride has amber DRLs now
Thank God for the return of the amber DRLs.
On Kia's website, they call the Telluride a mid-size SUV. As an European, I found this really funny because sometimes you can have trouble parling with a 175in long vehicule in some places. If i were to live in the US, I would strongly consider it. It really impressed me for a 50k or so 7 seater. Nice video as always.
It’s just how it’s classified in the US. The “full size” SUVs are the truck based SUVs like the Tahoe, Escalade, etc.
I know, it's why those aren't offered to sell in Europe. Maybe in China but I'm not sure. And what model is the Tahoe? I don't know what it is 😄

Did you happen to have a tow hitch actually installed on that 2023? Mine was shipped in December without the hitch and harness due to a recall of some sort. Here it is July...nearly 7 months later and there is STILL no wiring harness in sight. No response from KIA except the supplier hasn't produced them yet. Not good KIA. I love the telluride but If I had known this would happen I would have bought another vehicle as the tow capacity was one of the top 5 reasons I bought the top model. NOT happy!
BTW this car is one of the last that can accomodate LPG conversion and provide mileage economy out of this class too....The spare tire can be replaced on extra rear holder alá Jeep...

Most people seem to favor the telluride over the palisade. and thats mainly due to the styling differences. the telluride looks more rugged.
But i will tell you, the palisade is simply the better vehicle.
Interested to hear your opinion. Why?
@fishytank1land same size, same powertrain, nearly identical price. yet the palisade just has useful features missing in the telluride. mainly the power folding and heated third row seats. push button gear selector. this last point may be contentious since not everyone prefers it. But, I'm telling you as someone who owns cars both with a traditional shifter and the button layout, the buttons do free up a lot of space in the center. Which allows the palisade to have a HUGE covered storage bin with wireless charging.
I love the styling of the telluride. but hey, function over form in this case. I had to do it for the family.

Not necessarily break into but to start up if you have a key start ignition, any Kia or Hyundai vehicle that has a push button start is not a target to the Kia/Hyundai theft trend.

Kia really screwed up on this one....i think the 23 looks terrible. Sure the screen is cool, but the wheels and tires they put on it are dreadful and they got rid of the amber running lights that looked so clean. Its not total trash because of the looks, but it certainly takes a step back as far as im concerned. I have a 22 white with black wheels and dune brown interior that looks infinitely better than any 2023.
